Great and affordable drinks and I love the pork dumplings, and amazing service. 10/10 would recommend.

Solid spot. They stay open very late. My group ordered a bunch of stuff and shared it. Nachos were great (bulgogi is the star), tteokbokki was spicy and delicious. Service was good, our waitress was helpful and accommodating. I'll be back again soon.

Korean style bar restaurant with one of the best all day shot special in nyc! All day shot specials 5 for 25$-40$! I had the bulgogi quesadilla to eat and the staff is very friendly !

Service was great, enjoyed the drinks, food, and vibes. Would recommend anyone to stop by, especially if you love cocktails.

A friend here took us here to get some drinks and food. Sadly not much selection on the food side. The drinks are good though! We were hungry and didn't know plan B at the time so we decided to order whatever they had. I think it was an army stew and tater tots. The drinks aren't bad but the food is mediocre. Majority of what we ordered tasted like premade or store bought. Think we were duped from what they had before the pandemic. I do like their decor and their sense of privacy. Good for small groups. Happy hour kind of joint.

Amazing Food and Amazing service!!! The bartender was so sweet to me and friend and we had a great time here

Came in with my sister for happy hour. We had such a fun time sitting at the bar, chatting with the bar tender and some locals. The Soju cocktails were sweet and refreshing, I was a fan of the Citrus Lady. The Happy Hour prices were very good $4-$7, definitely a deal. After we ordered one glass of HH wine though we went with some specialty cocktails, very delicious!

My pre-birthday spot #1! Luckily, my bestie Kim found a metered parking space across the street from Firefly. There was free parking after 7:00 pm #score Wow, Firefly's Happy Hour was from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm every day! If you are here for their Happy Hour, you must sit at the bar or outside. We grabbed the two emptied bar stools in front of the bar. My bestie ordered a glass of House Wine from their Happy Hour menu then we shared the Popcorn Shrimp...mmm delicious with the spicy dipping sauce! Thanks to our amazing bartender Megan for being so attentive! When the music stopped, it was so quiet. I requested for Megan to play anything from China Mac but the other customer requested Jazz...not my cup of tea! I do love talking about China Mac so check him out https://www.instagram.com/chinamac/! Thank you, Sara, for offering me some juices or iced water because she wanted me to stay hydrated. Note: You get an 8% discount if you pay in cash!

Came here last Saturday with a few friends and I was surprised to see how empty it was. We were seated at a table - they have curtains so you have some more privacy, just like a little private booth! I saw a nice big room near the back that can sit a bigger group. Service here was excellent- our waiter was pleasant and very helpful! On to the drinks- The mojito is sooo good! My friends got the rye julep and the Negroni ... they were strong!! They do not skimp on the alc AT ALL! (Seeing some reviews about the drinks being weak.. not sure what's happening here as we had the complete opposite experience!) We also got the fries and the fried shrimp as finger foods to snack on. The fries were good but they give really little considering it's $8. Pass on the shrimp. Our second round consisted of soju cocktails- one of each- tae guk (pomegranate), citrus lady (citron), bunny hop (strawberry) and borahae (grape). Again, STRONG! All were good but I traded my grape one for my friends strawberry one, which has the strawberry ice cream in it. It ended up being super good after the ice cream melted. We got another order of fries and the rose tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was actually pretty good flavor wise. Lots of chicken in a creamy "spicy" sauce. Not really spicy. But with this dish again, it was small and I cant really justify paying $23 for it. I'll definitely come back for the drinks! Eat up somewhere else before hand :)

Found this gem after I had some KBBQ at Ssam Tong (Go there btw). Was looking for a nice bar in Flushing to wash down all the food I ate & luckily drove past here without even looking it up. The inside is a little dark but that's how I like my lounges. The tabletops are lit up just like the bar area. I tried the Soju cocktails obviously & they were all delicious. My favorite was the pomegranate butttttttttt that Bunny Hop is a little on the wild side, like who thinks of these things? Strawberry Ice Cream in your DRINK??? Yep, let me get 2 of those thank you very much. What I love most about the inside of this place is the private booths. They know how some of yall get now that Covid season is slowly coming to an end. You might need a little more privacy to hold hands, they get it. My only regret is I didn't really order any of my go to drinks because I didn't know if they would be good here. Boyyyyy was I wrong. My last drink was a negroni & it was perfectly made. It was on par with the cocktail bars that charge you 21 dollars a drink so don't just try the soju cocktails like I did. Next time I'll try the food. In conclusion, this is a great spot to just hang out & have a drink with your friends but it is more of a date night spot. Take someone you like here & they will absolutely be impressed

Great place for tapas, drinks, bar food and Asian Fusion on Northern Blvd! The interior and overall layout of the restaurant and bar is designed very well. The booths are nice and private. It's a great place for date night. Their food is delicious! I really liked the braised spicy beef short ribs, which was super tender and flavored perfectly. I just wish that we had more of this. I also liked their signature burger which was marinated well. The food can be a bit pricey, but can't get over all the amazing flavors that packed into their food. Their service was also top notch! Both waitresses were super nice and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place!

The Spicy Tuna and Yellowtail were standouts, while the Bay Scallop and Lobster were especially delicious and flavorful. Every handroll was beautifully prepared. The biggest disappointment was the lack of variety. There was no shrimp, and instead of something warm and traditional like miso soup, we were served edamame. Edamame is perfectly fine as a casual appetizer, but in a premium omakase experience, it felt more like filler than part of a thoughtfully curated progression. Another thing noticeably missing was the presentation and artistry. A true omakase experience is not only about the quality of the fish--it's also about the chef's touch, attention to detail, and the presentation of each course. Here, the plating felt basic and lacked that refined, personal touch from the omakase chef that makes each piece feel special. We also felt somewhat rushed throughout the meal, which takes away from what makes omakase enjoyable. It should feel like a carefully paced culinary experience, not simply a sequence of sushi being served quickly. The service was good and much of the fish quality was solid, but nothing really stood out or surprised us. Most importantly, after choosing the Premium Omakase, we actually left hungry, which was probably the most disappointing part. We've enjoyed omakase experiences from New York to California, including excellent ones at higher price points, so we understand what a more expensive omakase can offer. Beyond fresh fish, we look for variety, creativity, beautiful presentation, thoughtful pacing, and that unmistakable chef's touch that turns dinner into an experience. And unfortunately, the meal ended with two particularly disappointing pieces. We were served a fake crab meat sushi that we found awful, something we simply did not expect as part of a Premium Omakase. The eel was equally disappointing--it was missing the rich, distinctive flavor and character that makes eel such a memorable part of a sushi experience. Wabi Nori has potential, but the Premium Omakase needs more variety, substance, creativity, stronger presentation, and greater attention to the individual pieces before it truly feels premium. Three stars: good service and some good-quality sushi, but for a Premium Omakase, we expected considerably more--especially from the food, presentation, and overall experience.

We asked about happy hour since Instagram said they had it, but turns out it's not a thing anymore. They owned the miscommunication and took care of us, offering $8 wine, discounts on a couple appetizers, and even a complimentary extra glass of wine to make it up. We ordered a few things off the tapas menu. The popcorn chicken, the octopus, uni and foie gras, short ribs, and beef tacos. The short ribs leaned a bit dry, but everything else was on point. Standout by far was the uni and foie gras. A little pricey for 4 pieces but very delicious. Big shoutout to the 2 staff on site, very friendly, warm and responsive throughout. I would recommend Tavern 157 if you're in the area looking for something casual with good drinks and food and not in the mood for Korean food. You get an appetizer and entree, and the price depends on your protein. I got the spring roll appetizer and red curry entree with vegetables and tofu for $17. I really liked the spring rolls, but the red curry was a bit too spicy for me and didn't come with as much tofu as I would have expected. The portion size was great though! What stole the show were two things. The lychee juice as well as the Zahn Wings appetizer. The juice was soooo good and came with two lychee, and the lime seasoning for the wings was incredible. The Restaurant Week menu wasn't particularly exciting, so we both ordered from the regular menu. I had the steamed sea bass with white rice, while my friend had the duck with white rice. Both were good. We also tried the appetizer platter. I really enjoyed the chive rice cakes, the crispy texture added another layer. The crab rolls were fine, but the Cho Muang's texture was a bit off to me. The drinks were also really good. I tried the lychee floral spritz and loved it! Unfortunately, the service is what kept this from being a five-star experience. My food came out first, but my friend's didn't arrive until about 15-20 minutes later. We also saw our server when she took our order and never saw her again. We wanted another drink but didn't have anyone to ask, so we had to rely on the hostess.
