I wasn't sure which salad dressing to order so she brought me the two I wanted. The restaurant was spotless and even the bus- boy was on top of his game. What a standout, mega sized establishment that's been in the Bayside area since 1998. On one side of the main entrance there's a large bar area with hi-tops plus separate lounge seating. On the other side of the entrance there's a larger dining area. In addition, there's also a large rooftop bar to hangout during those warmer months. I love how the restaurants façade boasts an intricate wrought iron railing throughout, adding to that New Orleans flair. So far I've been here about four times and I've had great experiences during each. I've enjoyed their attentive service, welcoming atmosphere and decent food. If in or around the area I'd definitely pay Bourbon Street a visit again. read more

I attended the Mardi Gras festivities the late afternoon of 2/17/26 with another Yelp Elite. Great service from bartender Audrey. Her cocktails were strong. Cosmopolitan (5/5) Hurricane (5/5 with an extra shot of spicy rum) I am a very picky eater and enjoyed almost all the food here. We ordered appetizers from both the Mardi Gras and regular menu. The desserts were solely from the Mardi Gras menu. My family hosted a birthday party for our daughter at Bourbon Street earlier this year in the Magnolia South room. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Bourbon Street. Service It was very simple to reserve an event room and the team was easy to work with. We signed a straightforward contract and about a week prior we confirmed food options and headcount. We were allowed to decorate the space about 2 hours before the start of the event. Our team was helpful and accommodating. We had custom decorations and a dessert table (catered from another vendor) and we had zero issues. Food Our guests had many compliments for the chicken sliders and shrimp apps. I don't often find myself in this part of Queens, but I stumbled across this Cajun spot and decided to give it a try on a Saturday night. I had reservations and was seated right away. The restaurant was comfortably full without being too loud, and I loved the New Orleans-inspired art that gives the space a fun, colorful vibe. The menu is extensive, and they also offer a solid lineup of daily specials. A lot of the dishes lean spicy, and they aren't able to adjust heat levels, which limited my options a bit -- but there was still plenty to choose from. Weekday specials stay consistent, while weekend specials rotate, and there were far more than just one or two. Service was mixed. The hostess and owner were very attentive, but our server disappeared for long stretches. At one point, another waiter brought bread to the table and I assumed he was our server -- he seemed a little put off when I asked him a question. Just a bit of an odd interaction. One thing I really liked: the bread basket. It came with a fun mix of breads : regular bread, cornbread, and a cheddar biscuit, plus a pecan butter that felt distinctly Southern and really unique. What threw me off a bit was how inconsistent the appetizer portions were. Some looked like true apps, while others were definitely entrée-sized. I ordered the mussels frites and it was absolutely an entrée; no sides needed, and I still didn't finish it. For the price, the portion was an excellent value -- honestly bigger than some of the main dishes I saw going out. The fries were great: super crispy, hot, and fluffy inside. My friend had the Mac Attack burger, which came with thick-cut bacon and warm mac and cheese on top. Definitely a beast of a burger. Overall, this spot has some quirks, but good food, great portions, and a nice atmosphere. I'd come back, especially to explore more of the specials. read more

Here's a mainstay on Bell Blvd. that's been serving reliable drink and food for many years. We went in recently and found that it's still a dependable local lunch or dinner spot. The Bandits old-fashioned was very tasty as was their margarita (and both under $17!). The bacon jam burger special was perfectly cooked (medium rare for me), with a fried egg on top and bacon jam was a wonderful blend of sweet and savory that elevated the dish, accompanied by fries that were crispy and hot. Their sweet chili salmon was fresh and had a very nice chili glaze. We topped it off with the (very large!) hot fudge ice cream sundae. Our waitress Sophia was very friendly and personable, and service was quick and efficient. The old-school bar vibe was fun, and I'm sure it's much more lively during dinnertime service. Hello Bourbon Street Restaurant. Today is there 10 Year Anniversary and everything was complimentary from 5pm to 7pm and we didn't even know, just happened to doing some resturant hopping. Aren't we glad we hopped on in. We where there before the festivities started. Ordered some drinks and dollar oysters. The party was on the rooftop, and oh man it filled up quickly. The food is very good. The menu has a lovely variety of selections. There is something to please everyone. I would definitely recommend enjoying lunch or dinner here in the restaurant. There is an elevator for you to get to the second floor ; I think there may be a short flight of stairs from the second floor in order to get to the rooftop. (I'll call them and ask, so I'll let you know soon LOL) For the last two years, (2023 and 2024) I have organized a small lunch gathering of about a dozen people from my high school graduating class. We have gotten together here, at BOURBON STREET IN BAYSIDE. The multi-storied restaurant is about a block away from the LIRR station, so it has been easy for me to commute from Manhattan. My fellow graduates who drive here from various locations, use the Municipal Parking Lot, located a few blocks away. Be sure to put money in meters, if you are using metered parking, whether on the street or in the municipal lot. BOURBON STREET STAFF have been very nice and accommodating. We really appreciate being able to have separate checks for our luncheon. In 2023 we enjoyed a rooftop luncheon. The rooftop is really fantastic because no matter the weather you can still enjoy a meal on the rooftop. There's a bar up there along with many tables in 2024. We enjoyed lunch inside on the second floor I enjoyed the food and the rooftop atmosphere. And the pleasant helpful service. More photos to come. read more

Usually I'm a fan of Bourbon, and I'll give them credit for the Knicks game making it busier than usual. We were a party of 5 at the rooftop and encountered several issues: 1. This seems to be a common problem regardless of how busy it is at Bourbon; they will either fill your water once and never come back again, or leave a pitcher for you to fill the water yourself and then not returning to fill the pitcher. It quickly depleted since there was 5 of us. 2. Our entrees came out before our appetizer. We were hoping to eat our wings before having our entree so that was slightly unfortunate. Also, they gave us the wrong amount of wings (although this point I won't be negative on because it was more food than anticipated). 3. One of the entrees arrived 15 minutes after all the other entrees arrived, which is a very annoying thing. We tend to wait for our food to all eat together, and it's not fair on our friend's part to get their food when we're all finished eating. 4. My chicken sammy was missing avocado when brought out. Our waitress was very attentive and nice, so that's why I didn't give this a one star review. Hoping for better experiences in the future. read more

I do have to say the last lobster I had it was quite messy it being a soft shell and the mussels were very very tiny, yet all tasted good. I am in town from South Florida. I am staying at the Adria Hotel and Conference Center around the corner. I woke up late and decided I wanted a steak. Most places, especially restaurants with steak were closed. Blair, the front desk receptionist, recommended that I come Bourbon Street because of the good food and atmosphere. When i first sat down, I had to wait a few minutes, but Gennaro, asked if I have been helped, and served me right away. Gennaro recommended the Ribeye. The ribeye came with a salad, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. It wss amazing. Did I mention that the steak was 20 ounces! Wow! I couldn't finish half of it. I asked if they could cook my steak a little more and cut it in slices because I was staying in a hotel. They said, NO PROBLEM! I'm going to eat more in the middle of the night. Lol. Bourbon Street is a staple on Bell Blvd. Going to be super honest with this one. I've been here plenty times over the years and I was never wowed by this spot. It was always a bit on the rowdy side and never really caught the scene if you will. It wasn't until the reception I went to last night did I see the potential. The staff was on point with the service. The spread was actually really well done and the room itself was a very nice size and didn't seem too "stuffy". I was very impressed with my visit and the event held at Bourbon Street without a doubt. My fav was the tomato-mozzarella skewers. We went to Bourbon Street last night for dinner on NYE and the food was phenomenal!! We decided to do the four course pre fixe menu and we each had the lobster ravioli which was our favorite course! Our server Summer was very efficient and had a really good vibe about her -- very professional! The espresso cheesecake was also a hit. We had a minor issue with the entree and the manager rectified the situation professionally and swiftly. Overall we had a great time and wish them much success in the new year! Bourbon Street is a neighborhood classic. It's a bit more family friendly and approachable than it looks from the outside. Their food is pretty good depending on what you order, I personally like their salmon with the side accompaniments and their blackened catfish and lobster roll. Their lobster mac and cheese is LEGIT. It's not authentic Cajun food, but Cajun inspired which doesn't apply for their whole menu which is large with a good variety to choose from for everyone. I would avoid the burger however, as it was the driest most tasteless one I've ever encountered (it could have been a one off but I won't risk it again), but their portions are HUGE and they are generous with their add on's which include a bag of various breads for their takeout and cocktail, fruit-cup and bagel/muffin basket when dining in for example. (I'm usually too stuffed to partake). The service was friendly and polite when we dined, they also had live music playing and there's rooftop seating as well with a bar for larger groups. If you're in the area, it's a nice place to check out and as a local we like to order take-out here fairly often as they also have good deals on Seamless every now and then as well. read more

We came by for lunch and to redeem my mom's birthday reward. We were seated quickly, and there were plenty of tables around 12pm. We ordered the fried mac and cheese, taco salad, and the Creole burger. The fried mac and cheese balls over a bed of pulled pork was decadent and tasty! The taco salad was creative and came out in an impressive looking crunchy shell. My brother had the Creole burger, and said it wasn't his favorite burger. We came here for the San gennaro menu this weekend and it was nothing short of amazing. Truly start to finish every single aspect was incredible. It was $39 and included a bread basket (with the best butter I've ever had,) an appetizer, entree, dessert, and coffee/tea. Every single dish was a 10/10.
