Frequented this restaurant in the past and haven't been disappointed. Skipped the winter and finally stopped by, first time for the summer. Ordered 2 classic margaritas on the rocks with salt and had ZERO alcohol in both cocktails. very Disappointed!!!!

I enjoy restaurant hopping once in a while. I always passed by Spanglish, but never stopped in. Today I did. I went inside nice and mysterious, Dawn of the Dead. The menu is really colorful, beautiful photo on the front. There was one thing I didn't do right off the back. I wonder if you know what that is? I did check the bathroom to see if it was clean. Why do I do that? Say it with me. "A clean bathrooms means a clean kitchen" If the bathroom isn't clean we don't eat from there.. If you read my reviews it's a thing for me. We sat down and ordered they had a 20.00 3 course meal. It was 3 of us and we all got it. Are you ready for the pictures? Here we go. So the reason for the 2 is I ordered chicken wings from there happy hour menu it was suppose to be 6 pieces and the plate had 4 it was very breaded and stuck together. Needless to say I sent that back. I switched sides with my sister gave her my mashed potatoes and took her Yellow rice. Her Yellow rice was cold. I asked for hot rice and the cook microwaved the rice. Ok. Not a fan. After that we went next door to Bourbon Street and had a ball follow me to the next review. :)

We were seated right away. The music was loud but the selection was great. We ordered some drinks and appetizers. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. The elote was flavorful and had a kick. The ceviche mixto was so fresh and delicious. All dishes were beautifully plated. The steak tacos were delicious. The carnitas tacos were good. The waitresses were pleasant. The service is a little slow. Our drinks took quite a while to get to the table. Everything seemed to be made with quality so I didn't mind the wait. I'd like to come back and try more items on the menu.

I came here for brunch with a friend this past weekend and took advantage of their brunch special which is $30 for unlimited mimosas or Bellinis with an entree. I thought that offer was great and I had came here before for dinner and enjoyed the food. I ordered their Spanish omelette which came with roasted potatoes and a Cesar salad. The potatoes were roasted perfectly and well seasoned. The salad was crunchy and fresh. The omelette was filled with beans, chorizo and other delicious components. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the mimosas. I felt like the first 2 really tasted like mimosas with the right amount of champagne and orange juice. However, by the 3rd glass, my mimosa only tasted like orange juice which was disappointing. If the offer is bottomless, I would expect the mimosas to be consistent throughout the whole 90 minutes. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive which was a plus. Not sure if I would pay their bottomless brunch again due to the inconsistency in the mimosas.

The food was amazing and the service was on point food came quickly and the atmosphere was dark with lots of gold accents and a live DJ playing music

If you like small portions and high prices, then this place might be for you. My partner and I came here on a Friday afternoon. A lot of the reviews would lead you to believe that this place is jumpin' 24/7. For us, it was a ghost town. Not a single other customer from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. And based on our experience, I can certainly see why. From the get-go, this restaurant screamed "Fusion." That being "Lots of window-dressing to distract you from the fact that you're being ripped off." And I don't use the word "ripped off" lightly. But when the SET of 3 taquerias we ordered were roughly equal to the size of ONE at a lot of other Mexican restaurants, you know this isn't gonna end well. And the taquerias were barely filled. I can take tiny tacos if they're at least stuffed to the gills with meat, cheese and veggies. These were so empty, I talked into one of them and thought I heard an echo. The drinks were fine, but it hardly made up for the fact that even after finishing our meal AND a side of chips and guac, we were still hungry. The 3.75% fee for credit card payments was just icing on the venerable cake. I don't know why this restaurant has so many positive reviews, but I suspect a lot of them are either fake or by tourists. Please, people. You can do better.

The vibes here are great. Perfect spot for a date and to eat. The tortilla chips are crunchy and the salsa was tasty. We ordered a mojito and a frozen watermelon margarita. We also ordered chicken alajambres and a molcajete mixto. Lots of food & delicious! Great service & quality food. At the end they served us a shot of coquito. Loved it!

We came here and had dinner with one of our dear friends in NY. She tells us it's a busy restaurant and we have to come early to avoid the crowd. I started my evening with a pitcher of Mojitos. It was pretty good. Next, we got our chips and guacamole. It tasted fresh and I like how crispy the chips were. I don't have a big appetite so I ordered three different kinds of tacos and an order of flautas to share with my wife. I love that they toasted the tortilla and to me, that's basic taco 101. Flautas were pretty good. the salsa on top was refreshing. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. For dessert, we tried their churros. It came with a chocolate dipping sauce. with fresh blueberries. It was a nice way to complete a great meal. We will come back again the next time we visit NY.

It does come on top of a focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the sweet potato fry squares. I'm not crazy about sweet potatoes and I didn't read the menu to see to get something else. Also, the Greek churro was so good with the feta whip. This is definitely a really cute place. The real star of the night was Joyce behind the bar. She's the kind of bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome, like you've been a regular for years even if it's your first visit. She knows her drinks, makes amazing recommendations, and somehow keeps the energy fun and relaxed even when the bar gets busy. You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, and that kind of service is rare. Her gin and tonic was perfectly balanced -- crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I've had. And the green tea shots? Dangerous in the best way possible. Smooth, flavorful, and way too easy to keep ordering because they go down so well. Joyce makes them with consistency and a little extra flair that makes the whole experience feel special. Food-wise, I highly recommend the pork dumplings -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the ideal pairing with drinks. Everything just worked together: great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. Joyce truly elevates the entire atmosphere at Firefly, turning a normal night out into something memorable. If you're going, sit at the bar, trust her recommendations, and thank me later. 10/10 experience -- I'll absolutely be back.

Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrée, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real standout was the bomboloni. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed them, since fried doughnuts wouldn't normally be my first choice for dessert. I would definitely return.
