Love the decor and ambiance, the restaurant is always empty and now I know why! The food is mediocre, lacks taste. Lots of things we asked for were not available or they don't carry. We ordered wings and they don't carry hot sauce! The bartender was also the waitress, she was great! I would go back for drinks.

The Only food we liked were the lamb chop and the chocolate cake. We just thought that their steak is good like what we saw in other reviews but it's not, fries is too salty, the salad is plain, the service is not good. The ambiance tbh is classy and elegant, you really feel comfortable but the service is poor. I feel like it's not worth it for 200 $. I will definitely not coming back to this place And will not recommend it. Sorry

We were staying at a hotel in town and decided to try this place for dinner. The restaurant was about half full so service was good from our waitress. The decor and ambiance are very cute. The menu has appetizers, salads, burgers and entrees. I opted for the beet salad. It came with beets, arugula, red onions, guacamole, and tomatoes. It had a grape vinaigrette dressing, but not nearly enough of it. My husband had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp added. He really like it.

The ambiance is great! The service is great! The Jarabe de palo margarita is really smooth and refreshing.

Came here for some drinks and appetizers. I had an espresso martini that was strong but very delicious and naked wings with Buffalo and bbq sauce on the side. The wings were very tasty and sauces were excellent. We also ordered a fried calamari which was very good as well. The prices are a bit elevated; drinks ranging from $18-$20 per drink and the appetizers $16-$25. Our server was very friendly and attentive to us which was lovely. Their decor is very nice; rustic but with an upscale vibe. I did see that they have happy hours for apps and drinks so I will be retuning to take advantage of this deal.

I didn't eat any food while I was here because they didn't have soup. Which was kind of understandable - it is a hot summer day. My waitress Cristina was really nice and personable. I accidentally came for happy hour so I had two sangrias and enjoyed them both. I hope to return again

Ash and TJ are the best! My wife and I went to the Lazy Cow because we saw it on Bell Blvd and always wanted to check it out. Wow! Delicious and well crafted drinks with super attentive service. The ambiance is unmatched, this is the best place on Bell blvd.

Came on a Friday night with a group of friends and it wasn't extremely busy, so we were seated immediately. When you walk in, you gotta appreciate their decor because it all looked pretty cool. To start, we all ordered some cocktails, which were all tasty and not too strong. For appetizers, we ordered calamari, brussel sprouts, and mac & cheese. The brussel sprouts were roasted to perfect crispiness and I liked that they added little bits of bacon. The mac & cheese was delicious and cheesy. The calamari was good, but I wouldn't say it was amazingly special. For entrees, we got seafood orzo, their burger, and lamb rib chops. All of the entrees had a lot of flavor and they all tasted great, but the portions were pretty small for the price. Overall, I think this spot is perfect for a casual dinner, but be prepared for a higher price for the bill.

I came here for a nightcap with my wife and her friend after dinner. I have been to many bars in NYC before, but this place caught my attention. Immediately I was intrigued by the theme of this place. Starting from when I first entered through the front door, I was I'm attracted to the big gold and red sign with a giant cow's head. I knew then it was going to be an interesting experience. We proceeded to the bar as usual and were greeted by a very nice bartender. We ordered a few cocktails and started to take all on about this place. It's a clean and modern-looking bar. I especially loved that giant painting of a cow on the back bar wall. It kind of set the whole place up. The cocktails they make here are specially prepared at the house so it took a little time to get drinks. But the wait in my opinion is well worth it. My overall impression is that the place is cool. The drinks were delicious and the staff is nice and friendly Daly. It's a nice place to hang out with Fri das.

The Lazy Cow is a great spot for a casual meal. My friends and I came on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. There were several tables inside and a full bar as well but they weren't too busy the entire time we were there. The decor inside is unique and it's low light but pretty loud inside so we had to raise our voices to have a conversation. The menu isn't too extensive but has enough for a meal. The items were a bit on the pricey end but the food was yummy. We ordered several food items along with our drinks: mac & cheese, crispy calamari, lamb rib chops, seafood orzo, roasted brussel sprouts, bacon gruyere burger. No complaints for any of the food, which tasted great. Great place to chill with fairly quick service. Food is on the pricey end but tastes good, nothing special though.

If you are going to be in Bayside this place is a gem. Ash the server was very accommodating and the beers on tap were tasty. All the food was outstanding the desserts were over the top. A must stop in.

Burrata with prosciutto, served over seared apricots and a fig like drizzle.

They don't have an extensive wine list but I love their Rośe. This place is more focused on creating cocktails than wine honestly.

The real star of the night was Joyce behind the bar. She's the kind of bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome, like you've been a regular for years even if it's your first visit. She knows her drinks, makes amazing recommendations, and somehow keeps the energy fun and relaxed even when the bar gets busy. You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, and that kind of service is rare. Her gin and tonic was perfectly balanced -- crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I've had. And the green tea shots? Dangerous in the best way possible. Smooth, flavorful, and way too easy to keep ordering because they go down so well. Joyce makes them with consistency and a little extra flair that makes the whole experience feel special. Food-wise, I highly recommend the pork dumplings -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the ideal pairing with drinks. Everything just worked together: great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. Joyce truly elevates the entire atmosphere at Firefly, turning a normal night out into something memorable. If you're going, sit at the bar, trust her recommendations, and thank me later. 10/10 experience -- I'll absolutely be back.

Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrée, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real standout was the bomboloni. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed them, since fried doughnuts wouldn't normally be my first choice for dessert. I would definitely return.
