Not already prepared like some buffet style places and you bite into the fish and it's dry and old. Days old! They have all types of fish and other seafood such as lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, and clams. The offer bags of vegetables. The service is prompt. You take a bowl, pick what you desire, tell them how you want it cook, fried or r steamed. You pay, they cook, you pick up, and leave. Just like that. This is not a sit down market. So when you eakun in you will see fish, fish, and more fish. The ambiance is casual but if you just want to come in after a board me meeting, you be better off taking this to go. The do have a counter and about 4 stools . The whole time I was there, a homeboy was there charging his phone while conversing on it all the while he is directly at the door and his feet is stretched out like he is in his living room. I can foresee a problem if someone steps on his white airforce one's. I can understand that the staff not being from this hood are reluctant to say something to him but for the customers safety of entering this establishment, the need to put that behavior in check.

When my order arrived from this location, I received about half, or even less, of what I normally get. I ordered 1 lb of shrimp, and there were fewer than 12 shrimp with the heads removed. The same issue applied to the mussels as well. There was also barely any gravy in the bag. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the bag was how light it felt. I placed the order close to closing time, so maybe they had run low on food or gravy, I really do not know. Either way, I will never order from this location again.

It comes in a cute drink pouch, has a generous pour, and definitely doesn't skimp on the alcohol. Even with the rum, dark rum, orange juice, and grenadine, it still tastes amazing and strikes a really nice balance. For my appetizer, I ordered a cup of the New England clam chowder. It was fresh, creamy, and packed with plenty of clam pieces in every bite. Unless you're a huge clam chowder fan or planning to make it your meal, I think the cup is the perfect size to enjoy before digging into a seafood boil. For my boil, I ordered half a pound of mussels and half a pound of head off shrimp with Cap't Loui sauce at the hot spice level. It also came with corn and potato, and I added boiled egg. If you're someone who loves a Cajun style seafood boil with a noticeable kick, the hot Cap't Loui sauce absolutely delivers without sacrificing flavor. Another thing I appreciate is that they provide branded plastic bibs and gloves, which makes the whole experience much less messy and lets you fully enjoy the meal. The restaurant tables were also decorated with cute seafood-themed paper tablecloth to keep everything clean as well. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was attentive, and everything, from the drinks to the chowder to the boil, came out surprisingly fast. This is easily one of my favorite places when I'm craving a seafood boil, and I'll definitely be back again.

Even though I didn't like the food we tried, I'll still dine in at a different location to get a better experience. I tried the shrimp in garlic butter in mild spice. It had no flavor whatsoever. Was it buttery? No. Garlicky? No. Salty? I don't think the sauce was seasoned with any salt. I can see why others are getting their boils, hot.. literally no flavor except for the heads. There was a spoon of garlic and some weird butter..watery oil at the very bottom .. the shrimp wasn't mixed with any of the "sauce." So only natural shrimp flavor and when we dunked it in the watery "sauce" there was just a hint of flavor but not much. We threw in a lil finishing salt which did make it slightly better but it was just so watery. At that point.. I just ordered food from a different restaurant.
