I decided to buy a little under 2lbs of wild caught salmon which came out to $28. I asked for it to be cut into fours and also to remove the skin. I was given a receipt with a number. We decided to run the rest of our errands while the fish was being prepared. We were gone for about 30 minutes. As we entered the fish market I realized I lost my receipt. The cashier recognized me and said I thought you left or forgot your fish. Thankfully he didn't need my receipt. I thought it was really nice of him to place the fish to the side for me until I returned.

Sometimes they don't let the fish drain long enough so you get all that grease in your container. However, something has happened to the rice. Let me first correct a few things from my previous review. The front awning does have the name of the restaurant on it. Jose Fish Market is not brightly painted or printed on the awning. Second, they have flounder instead of trout. The flounder is still a generous piece of fish for $11 for the platter with rice and peas. This time the rice and peas were not edible in my opinion. I do not know what happened, but something was very very off about the rice. I would rather have the fish alone and would be hesitant to have the rice ever again here. The chicken wings at $10 for four and fries is still a great value and the wings were crispy and great with the hot sauce, even the fries were good with hot sauce.
