Came back and brought the game for a dine in. Second time around it was okay, the potatoes didn't taste fresh and were overcooked. Like too mushy but overall was good and the sauce was a bit watery. This time I would have rated 3.5.
The interior of this restaurant is nice and clean, even the bathroom was clean but that's where it stops. The server we had made my friend & I experience uncomfortable, she wasn't pleasant, kept watching us non stop as if we were up to something criminal, but she wasn't looking at the other customers oddly, we told her it was our first time there & she didn't give any more info or recommendations. Hopefully this wasn't a racist issue. I had the lemon pepper shrimp boil & it was extremely salty, the shrimp were cooked well though, my friend had the shrimp po boy & fries, she rated it a 6. When we tipped the server she rolled her eyes at us, her attitude & service was horrible so we didn't tip her well. I will not be returning here.
Came here with the family to try something new. We were seated right away. We decided to try a few things and share. We ordered the 2 lobster tails, shrimp and clams that came with 3 corn, 3 potatoes and sausage. We also ordered the shrimp fried rice and a bowl of new england clam chowder. For dessert we had the cheesecake. Everything was delicious.
One of the better Cajun seafood boil around the area. My dad ordered some catering from here for one of my baby showers and I was automatically hooked on their food. Their special garlic seasoning was delicious and you can go mild/spicy as you pleased.
A good seafood spot in Queens ?! We ordered: - fried oyster basket with Cajun fries -fried catfish roll -chicken fried rice -H combo: 1 Lb Dungeness Crab Legs 1 Lb Clams 1 lb Green Mussels with all the mild sauces, potatoes, sausage, egg and corn Everything was fresh and would definitely come back for more to satisfy my seafood cravings

Our group of 13 arrived for our 7:45pm reservation tonight and we were promptly seated. 4/5 Food: My boyfriend and I ordered the Combo Special A which came with 1/2lb shrimp, 1/2lb black mussels, 1/2lb snow crab, potatoes and corn. We added 1/2lb green mussels, and a side order of Cajun fries. The seafood tasted fresh and reminded me of our trip to NOLA. We chose the sauce that was a combination of all of their sauce flavors with zero spice level, and it was just right for us. I also appreciated that they deveined the shrimp in a way that made it easier to peel the shrimp. 5/5 Service: The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our dinner. They offered to take pictures of our group. They guided us on how to efficiently get to our food (by cutting the bag). And they came around with wet wipes at the end.
Been meaning to try out HCrab for quite a while since I live in the neighborhood. For some odd reason I'm always skeptical about seafood restaurants. Finally jumped the gun and ordered a delicious seafood pasta dish from them. Order came with 2 slices of garlic bread and super fresh mix of seafood! (I gauge seafood restaurants usually by ordering single dishes to taste for freshness~ the shrimp texture was not mushy and their scallops didn't have a fishy taste which means their produce is definitely good and fresh!) I'll definitely be back to try their boil style combos!
Happy Birthday to me! Today was my mom's first time eating a boil for my birthday lunch. Less than a 5 minutes drive or a 15 minutes walk from my house. Plenty of emptied tables alongside the windows. We were sitting at a corner table by the kitchen. Sadly, their menu didn't have Chinese translations. Luckily, our server Joey was Bilingual. She translated the menu to my mom and also recommended the Fried Calamari as an appetizer. Step 1: Combo Special included 1 corn and 2 potatoes B - 1/2 Crawfish + 1/2 Shrimp + 1/2 Snow Crab then added 1/2 Black Mussels Step 2: Cajun Seasoning - so flavorful Step 3: Medium Spicy - the perfect balance between mild and hot Appetizer: Fried Calamari - crispy and yummy All the plates included bibs, gloves, scissors, and crab crackers. Overall, a very delicious experience! Bookmark this spot and also ask for Joey because she provided excellent service to us!

Seasoning on both was good, but shrimp wasnt what i expected. It was the same as the seafood boil. Not too phat. Seafood boil we got a combo, (b) it was ok. sauce were cajun and garlic butter, i wish it had more in depth flavor and the spicy level is not too hot. Maybe get a hot if you like spicy (we got medium it was no heat) We added broccoli i wish it had more and is bigger. But its cooked perfectly. Seafood pasta was scallop, shrimp, and salmon. It was very buttery and creamy.. a lil overwhelming. Scallop had no taste. Garlic bread is soft and flavorful not too crunchy.
The Oysters were absolute fire! Super fresh, cold and just the way you'd want them. Try with some Tobasco sauce and lemon! The lobster roll was disappointing. Low-quality mayonnaise, and way too salty. The meat wasn't fresh either. In short, for $22.99, this was a big displeasure. We ordered the Sweet Thai Chili wings, and weren't displeased. Regular, old wings. Ended the night with the Limoncelo Mascarpone dessert. Very good! Our server was very nice and accommodating. The music was on-point, and the lighting was comfortable. Overall, not a bad experience!
4.5 stars I came here with my bf and we actually ate indoors because it was just us! Two other small groups came in while we were eating but they were all sitting far away from us. I absolutely love seafood so I was super excited to try this place out. It's a few blocks away from my house so we just took a nice stroll. We decided to get the lobster rolls and two boils. The lobster rolls were good!! There were two small ones stuffed w lobster. Delicious start of the meal. We got the combo D which was 1 lb of snow crab and 1/2 lb of headless shrimp with Cajun mild sauce. We also got 1lb of clams with the garlic butter sauce. I liked the garlic butter sauce better, the Cajun was too salty for me. The only thing I was hoping for was that the sauce was.. heftier! It seemed just too liquidy- like if I dipped my shrimp I wanted to actually get some sauce on there. I really liked the tray of utensils. They give you a little bib, scissors to cut through the crab, a picker to get meat from small places, cracker, fork and a wipe. The customer service was really good here. That is very important too!! Our waitress was a nice girl and the owner came over to make sure we were enjoying everything. Cant wait to come back here soon Oh also, THEY CLEAN THE SHRIMP! Ok I'm not sure if this is usually done in every place but the extra effort is so appreciated. They cut open the top to get rid of the poo. It also makes it very easy to peel!

One of the few places in Flushing that serves a really good lobster roll! Delicious, flavorful, and definitely hits the spot when you're craving one. It's not easy to find a tasty lobster roll around here, so I'm glad to have this spot in the neighborhood. Highly recommended! read more

We came in for Saturday lunch and there was barely anyone. I got Combo D with 1 lb of snow crab legs and 1/2 lb shrimp. I added 1/2 lb of scallops. I got Cajun butter which was tasty and not overwhelming like other places. The shrimp was really tasty. The crab legs were pretty good. Scallops were ok. The potatoes and corn could've been cooked and softened a bit longer. The Mai Tai was a bit gross with the amount of cheap alcohol in there, but that's expected for $13 cocktail in the area. They give you a bib, gloves, scissors, and other tools. read more

This is my new favorite seafood boil place in Queens!! They have great music, aesthetic/clean interior, friendly service, bar, and great prices. You can order from a variety of menu items such as boil, fried seafood, appetizers, lobster rolls, etc. We ordered: Combo D: 1 lb of Snow crab legs and 1/2 pound of headless shrimp in all of the above sauce ( Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Butter, House special sauce) SO GOOD, the snow crab was juicy and flavorful. I think the house special sauce made everything a little too salty so I may just try Cajun next time. Lobster Tail - $37 for Three tails. I do not regret spending the extra on this. They cut each tail in half so it seems like 6 tails in total. This is great if you're sharing with friends. Lobster Rolls - $17 for TWO lobster rolls. We were so shocked, we had to confirm that both rolls were ours for the price. Lobster was fresh, they give it in a bun with lettuce. They don't give too much meat but just enough to fill you. Great flavor. Overall, I would definitely come back here. The service was amazing and they made sure we were happy with our orders. Street parking available. read more

I just admit I wasn't expecting them to be very busy. And apparently neither did management. We tried calling, but nobody picked up. Don't know why we didn't think to order online. But, I made the trip there to order in person. At the place, I found out why nobody picked up the phone. The one lady working the front counter was extremely busy. I was told my order would take 25 minutes, but it ended up using twice as long. Not her fault. And not the fault of the cooks. They were simply undermanned. Clearly they did not expect this kind of turnout during their first week. Good for them. The amount of people waiting kept increasing. There were probably close to 10 at one point, with deliveries going out and the phone ringing off the hook. As for the food, it was very good. We just wanted to try it out. So all we ordered was a small combo consisting of snow crab, shrimp, and potatoes. A little salty for our taste. Definitely saltier than most take out food. But, very tasty. Definitely will come back to try the other items. And I'll make sure to come on a weekday to lessen the wait. read more

I ordered one of the combos and the sauce was very flavorful. My takeout order was prepared pretty quickly. However, I have to deduct a star because the crab was not cleaned well. This part of the crab was so full of gunk, they need to pay more attention to cleaning out the crab properly before they steam it. read more

the food is amazing, the Portions gave was huge. the service was perfect, the quickness and quality service is the best i ever had. The atmosphere was great, it welcoming and a chill vibe. this spot is definitely underrated. This spot can be used for any occasion. read more

Seafood boil: 4/5 Hush puppies: 4/5 Fish and chips: 2/5 I ordered the set A of seafood and I loved that it came with corn and potatoes. The seafood was cooked perfectly but the seasoning had too much salt. The "everything above" seasoning was heavily salted and crab does not need that heavy seasoning. The fish and chips were not beer battered; the chips were not fully cooked. Hush puppies were a bit dry- needs more cream of corn, but fried corn is always a good idea. read more

First off...don't order a combo, lobster roll and fried calamari and think it is enough to share with you and your significant other. Having said that, we ordered combo A with the house special seasoning. It was flavorful and fresh. Only comment was that it was a bit oily. The order came with two lobster roll. It was well seasoned but the combined lobster meat in the two roll is like in one of Luke's lobster roll. Calamari was nicely fried and came with two sauces. All in all a decent meal. Just wished we ordered two combos. read more
I came here with a group of 7 people on a Saturday night 6pm. There was no wait and we were seated promptly! There were two waitresses who were very attentive :) I was excited to see that there are more cajun seafood restaurants opening up on this side of Queens. For our order of 1 LB of shrimp, 0.5 LB of sausage, and extra potatoes, it was more than enough for 2 people. The shrimp was deveined (which we appreciated greatly) and it made the shell easy to peel off. The flavors were delicious and packed a punch! It wasn't the best cajun seafood I've had, but quality was good and filling. It's a place I would come back to again. There is plenty of metered parking and neighbors street parking. read more

I went with my husband and wouldn't go back to this place because you don't get enough for the amount that you pay. We spent about 40 bucks for spicy crawfish with a little onion in the sauce. I was expecting other veggies to be included like more onion, corn, lotus root, or something else, especially since I paid $40! Worst of all, the size of the crawfish; the tiniest we've ever had.. so little meat on the crawfish. You do all this work but the reward (the meat) is almost not even worth it. I wish I took a picture of the size of the meat of the crawfish but you know how your fingers get when eating this food. Give it two stars instead of one because the flavor of the spice was fine. Also, on their menu they give you a 1lb price but there is a 2lb minimum. If you're gonna have it like that then you would expect you can mix and match flavors (1lb garlic and 1lb spicy), but no you can't; so they should just write a min 2lb per order and not be tricky. read more

Who doesn't love a good seafood boil? The boyfriend and I went to check out H Crab one night, since we live nearby, and were not disappointed. The fried oyster appetizer actually maintains a slight juiciness inside while being perfectly crispy on the outside. Their garlic butter seasoning also has depth to it, unlike other restaurants that don't add enough spices to make the butter sauce more multi-dimensional. We were impressed by how much of the flavors were fully absorbed into our scallops, mussels, sausages, potatoes, and corn, too. It became so addictive as we dipped every bite back into the bag for more, and balanced the saltiness with sips of fruity soju on the side. I really appreciated the bibs, gloves, and scissors to ensure we got into our meal as neatly and efficiently as possible. Left with a very happy stomach! read more

A friend recommended this place to be and I have been twice in the last 2 weeks! It is very clean and so cute and open inside. Would also love to sit outside when the weather opens up! The service was amazing. The waitress, Joy, was very attentive and even brought us baby wipes after our messy meal. But the best part, the seafood boil was to die for!! You can totally customize it with the seafood you want, seasoning, and spice level. We opted for the garlic butter, their most popular seasoning, with crab, shrimp, and mussels. It also comes with sausage, corn, potato, and hard boiled eggs. We also had the oysters as an appetizer which are huge! So fresh and delicious. I've been searching for a great seafood boil place and I've found it! Can't wait to go back. This will definitely be one of my new go-to spots! read more
