The food was amazing! I had ordered a fish platter, but it arrived on a bed of lemon grass and fresh herbs maybe turmeric? We also ordered the curry dish which was superb in terms of taste. How would I describe this spot?Presentation is on point, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night. The interior was super cute with a chair that is surrounded by beautiful Instagrammable tschotkes.

Nice place for lunch. Had a $30 lunch menu with an appetizer and a main course. Had the spicy pork belly and it was very tasty but a little salty. Had the Tom Yum wings and they were tasty as well. The Thai iced tea was also delicious. Waitress was very attentive. Place was bright and clean.

Delicious upscale Thai restaurant on Northern Blvd! We enjoy coming here for dates and birthdays. The interior is very nicely designed and great for pictures. The food is also delicious, and I haven't had a dish that I didn't like so far. We also came here for Restaurant Week and enjoyed a nice 3 course meal. The price is a bit on the higher side, and parking can be difficult with the busy side street parking. Highly recommended for their good food, friendly service, and nice aesthetics!

When in Bangkok was a spot I found online while visiting, and it looked so good that I had to give it a try. They are dog-friendly and offer outdoor seating, which was a huge plus. The waitstaff was very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. We started with the oysters, and the condiments served with them were different from the usual ones you typically get. They were absolutely amazing and added a unique touch. For the main dishes, we ordered the chicken pineapple fried rice and the fried pork belly appetizer. Everything was solid, especially the cocktails, which were refreshing and well-made. We ended the meal with the roti dessert, which was definitely unique and a great way to finish the meal. You do have to go inside to use the restroom, which gives you a chance to appreciate the beautiful modern decor. Overall, When in Bangkok is easily one of my favorite Thai restaurants of all time, and I would definitely come back.

First visit after many friends suggested and it lived up to all the hype. We were warmly greeted by the host for lunch, from there it was all superb. The entire drink list, food, service and cleanliness of this restaurant must be commended. In short, absolutely worth the trip. No doubt we will be back for dinner service soon.

NYC's Most Beautiful Thai Food! Back at one of my favorite Thai spots, where every dish is as stunning as it is delicious. From the beautiful presentation to the bold, authentic Thai flavors, every plate was thoughtfully crafted and packed with flavor. It's one of those meals that makes you pause before taking the first bite--and every dish delivered. Follow me @foodie.elite on IG, Tiktok and RedNote for more great finds.

Well I love Thai food and when in Bangkok didn't disappoint. Tasty and delicious food. Serving can feed 2 people. It was a lot. Our waiter was very friendly and bubbly. The place was a cute little restaurant. Definitely worth a second visit.

Quality thai food, a little tight in there, tables are close, so prepare for people sitting next to you, hearing your conversation. Nice decor and clean. Great & attentive service. Food & drinks were very good.

The best Thai restaurant in the Flushing/Bayside area. The soft shell crab karee has a crispy outside and a soft inside. The crab fried rice had lots of crab. All the dishes were flavorful and well balanced. Highly recommend the soft shell crab karee. The service was good.

Love that they have the lunch special (appetizer + entree) available on the weekends! I got the Kra Pow at a medium level spice but it still got a kick that was addicting - the fried egg addition was a great compliment too. The Zaab Wings were addicting too with the hot but also sour/citrus seasoning - just drooling thinking about it again!

My favorite Thai spot in Queens! It's so beautiful inside. We ordered Thai tea and sometimes it's a miss but this spot never misses. It was perfectly sweetened and creamy. For our dishes we got the vegetable thai fried rice and the panyang curry with vegetables. I usually always go for a meat dish but because my friend was vegetarian I wanted to get something we can both share. Service was quick! Lots of people were eating when we went. Def recommend reserving for a nicer outing. Totally understand why this spit is top 10!

When in Bangkok is absolutely worth the hype. The cocktails are excellent and thoughtfully crafted, and the food is so good. We ordered the Drunken Noodle, Khao Soi, and the Braised Pork Leg--every dish was packed with flavor, comforting, and beautifully executed. The Khao Soi in particular was rich and aromatic, and the pork leg was tender and very satisfying. The ambiance is cozy with really cute decor, and the overall vibe feels warm and welcoming, even when the place is buzzing. It does get very packed, but it's 100% worth the wait. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better despite how busy it was. Easily one of my favorite Thai spots--I already can't wait to go back.

Food is delicious here but they are limiting meat portions now, sadly!! Service is ok!! Take out is pretty good!! Restaurant looks nice from the outside!

The Spicy Tuna and Yellowtail were standouts, while the Bay Scallop and Lobster were especially delicious and flavorful. Every handroll was beautifully prepared. The biggest disappointment was the lack of variety. There was no shrimp, and instead of something warm and traditional like miso soup, we were served edamame. Edamame is perfectly fine as a casual appetizer, but in a premium omakase experience, it felt more like filler than part of a thoughtfully curated progression. Another thing noticeably missing was the presentation and artistry. A true omakase experience is not only about the quality of the fish--it's also about the chef's touch, attention to detail, and the presentation of each course. Here, the plating felt basic and lacked that refined, personal touch from the omakase chef that makes each piece feel special. We also felt somewhat rushed throughout the meal, which takes away from what makes omakase enjoyable. It should feel like a carefully paced culinary experience, not simply a sequence of sushi being served quickly. The service was good and much of the fish quality was solid, but nothing really stood out or surprised us. Most importantly, after choosing the Premium Omakase, we actually left hungry, which was probably the most disappointing part. We've enjoyed omakase experiences from New York to California, including excellent ones at higher price points, so we understand what a more expensive omakase can offer. Beyond fresh fish, we look for variety, creativity, beautiful presentation, thoughtful pacing, and that unmistakable chef's touch that turns dinner into an experience. And unfortunately, the meal ended with two particularly disappointing pieces. We were served a fake crab meat sushi that we found awful, something we simply did not expect as part of a Premium Omakase. The eel was equally disappointing--it was missing the rich, distinctive flavor and character that makes eel such a memorable part of a sushi experience. Wabi Nori has potential, but the Premium Omakase needs more variety, substance, creativity, stronger presentation, and greater attention to the individual pieces before it truly feels premium. Three stars: good service and some good-quality sushi, but for a Premium Omakase, we expected considerably more--especially from the food, presentation, and overall experience.

The real star of the night was Joyce behind the bar. She's the kind of bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome, like you've been a regular for years even if it's your first visit. She knows her drinks, makes amazing recommendations, and somehow keeps the energy fun and relaxed even when the bar gets busy. You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, and that kind of service is rare. Her gin and tonic was perfectly balanced -- crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I've had. And the green tea shots? Dangerous in the best way possible. Smooth, flavorful, and way too easy to keep ordering because they go down so well. Joyce makes them with consistency and a little extra flair that makes the whole experience feel special. Food-wise, I highly recommend the pork dumplings -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the ideal pairing with drinks. Everything just worked together: great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. Joyce truly elevates the entire atmosphere at Firefly, turning a normal night out into something memorable.
