I think I had been to this lounge once briefly, but this was the first time I grabbed drinks and food. The rooftop view is very nice. The outdoor section was covered well enough for the colder weather. However, it did start raining hard, so we moved inside after enjoying the view. I had the guava highball and then the Open Sesame cocktail. The highball was very strong, but I didn't really get a lot of the guava flavor. The Open Sesame was so sugary and delicious, though! The perfect blend of sweet coconut and slightly umami sesame seeds flavor. The popcorn chicken was my favorite bar snack of the night. The gyoza was ok, and the quesadilla was a little sweet, though I couldn't figure out where the sweetness came from. The manager kept coming around to sell us shots, so there was no lack of attention in service lol. I'm all about a good rooftop bar, and this spot in Queens was a great find! The space is really nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, so you can choose your vibe. The service here was fantastic--everyone was super friendly and attentive, especially the host. I really enjoyed their cocktails, since I'm not a huge fan of drinks where you can really taste the alcohol (I'm still a bit of a newbie). The bartender, bar manager, and bar back were all top notch and they know how to rile the crowd to have a good time. We went on a Wednesday night and it still turned out to be an awesome time! The ambiance was nice and I liked hanging out in the rooftop area. The sofas were comfortable. I was here for an official Yelp Elite event for Lunar New Year. Parking is limited and I opted for a parking garage nearby. I had the bartender make me a custom drink not on the menu and he did a good job and it was a close rendition of what I wanted. If you're looking for a drinks place in Flushing, this was a great option! Our original bar plan was booked, so we ventured here. The bar is located through a hotel and an elevator ride up. The service here was really efficient despite that busy night. They were playing a popping music mix as well! The drinks were ok. They had the usual drinks, but they also had a signature cocktail selection, offering a good selection of fruity drinks, my fave. What blew my mind though was the food. I associate bar food with bad food, so I was pleasantly surprised to find an incredible Chef Lin's Famous Beef Noodle Soup ($16) at a bar. Their broth was hearty, full of spice, and bound to warm you right up! Their Cheeseburger Springrolls ($9) were my next fave, a great option if you're not looking to eat a whole burger, but would rather get a smaller bite of one. The crispy outer wrap also made everything taste better. Lastly, there is an outdoor lounge area, but it does feel weird leaving without them thinking we diner dashed. They did close the tab on us because they thought we were leaving. Everything was pretty pricey, as is typical bar places, but I'd give Leaf a thumbs up for the unique food menu! read more

Looks like they close off the outdoor part during the winter months, not sure when it'll be open again. Only knocking off one star because the prices of the food and drinks were higher than expected. Super cute rooftop bar in flushing! Located at the top of the Hyatt, this place is intimate with delicious cocktails and tasty bites. I suggest making a reservation if you want the cute couches on the terrace, otherwise there's a good amount of seating inside. They have a looong list of curated cocktails and you can't go wrong with any. Between the 4 of us we tried about half the menu and nobody had any complaints. We also got a good amount of food and everything was delicious! The shrimp (either Thai chili or pineapple) are both good options. And my friends enjoyed the beef stew as well. I came here with a group of 7 on a Saturday night around 5:30pm. The bar and lounge are located on the rooftop of the Hyatt hotel. You can walk through the hotel lobby to take the elevator straight up. I was surprised that the venue was pretty much empty while we were there, but it might get livier later in the evening. For indoor seating, they have tables with low benches, as well as high tops with bar stool seats. They also have both an enclosed outdoor space and an open air outdoor space. The views are stunning and you can see Manhattan across the water. To drink, I had the Pandan-monium. It was sweet and fruity. I enjoyed it. Their cocktail menu has lots of other fun options. Been to Leaf a few times recently and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it compared to a few years back! The cocktail menu was solid with fairly priced & aesthetic drinks. The purple rain is easy to drink and also gorgeous, and I am in love with the Yamaguchi drink for its Yuzu flavor profile. The fries are so good as they come out hot and plump. My friends and I once got two separate orders in one visit because they were the perfect snack to go with our cocktails! Love this gem in Flushing! One of the few rooftops in this area that has a good view of the NYC. It has such a vibes with the hip hop music playing in the background. This place might have some of the best rooftop views in Flushing. Sitting at the edge of the rooftop, you can see Citi Field and the outlines of the Manhattan skyline in the distance. This place also has a pretty extensive drink and food menu, and the servers are friendly and efficient, even when seating becomes limited and the place gets busy. The food is your standard bar bites, but they are executed well. The French fries are nice and crispy while the Taiwanese style fried chicken bites have just that right balance of crunch and spice. Lovely rooftop located inside the Hyatt. Walk pass the concierge/front desk and take a right. Take the elevators and press "R" level. We took the elevator on the left side. You can see manhattan (very far away but still there) from the rooftop. You can also hear the airplanes going to Laguardia so it is kind of loud during certain times. Nice, friendly staff and decent drink selection. I got a whiskey sour ($15). Drink was pretty good. It is good spot to catch up with friends. I haven't tried the food yet so this review is for the drinks and ambiance. read more
