We were having a great time until a couple of women came in who seemed to know the male bartender. I went to use the bathroom, and within less than two minutes someone started knocking impatiently. I immediately said it was occupied, but a few minutes later she began banging on the door while I was still inside. I understand waiting for a bathroom can be frustrating, but there was another bathroom downstairs, and the way she handled it felt extremely rude and disrespectful. She continued waiting right outside the door until I came out, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. Regardless of whether she knew the bartender or not, guests should be treated with the same respect and the space should feel welcoming for everyone. Even my boyfriend felt uncomfortable with how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we wouldn't come back. Hopefully the staff can work on creating a more inclusive and comfortable environment for all customers :(

The prices are very reasonable. The staff is very attentive. The decor is extremely unique and sets the tone. What more can you ask for? Small tip, don't forget to bring CASH, it's a cash only spot! (But they do have an ATM if you do happen to forget to listen to my review lol) Most importantly you don't have to keep flagging down the employees to ask to exchange the coal for your hookah. (And they don't charge for coal refills). God, I can't tell you how much of a difference that makes in your hookah experience!! They always make their rounds to every table to exchange coals before you can even notice that you need it. Make sure to order your hookah with an "ICE PACK"!! It makes all the difference!! That cool fresh hookah is not harsh on your throat and you can go on smoking it for a long period of time. The pull is much smoother too, just trust me on this one, you will thank me later ;) You won't regret coming to experience this hookah spot even if you have to go out of your way to get there. It's worth it!

We have been going there for years and it has always delivered a good time. The vibe is fun, the music is generally solid, and there is a dance floor to make use of if you are in the mood. Fair warning though -- the speakers are close and the floor can get crowded, so be mindful of where you position yourself or you will be hearing ringing for days afterward. I have actually started considering bringing earplugs on future visits to protect my hearing. It is that kind of loud. As for drinks, I cannot speak to those since I do not drink alcohol. What I can tell you is that the water was perfectly hydrating. The DJ does the usual DJ things -- occasionally cuts a song too early or drops something you are not feeling -- but overall the music selection works and keeps the energy up. I would not come here for a quiet meal. The environment is not built for that. But as a place to gather with friends, celebrate something, and have a genuinely good time, it is a solid local gem.

Came here for happy hour. They had mandated that you order minimum of 8 wings per flavor. My party couldnt finish the wings so we asked to take it to go. First server tells us a Togo box is $3, then he ran off, the second server tells us oh you can't take these to go, then also walks off. Why do you, as the restaurant, get to dictate if I take my food to go so that I don't waste it? This is also in addition to: ranch, blue cheese, celery, which usually comes wings, are ALL $1 additional a piece. Management need to get their shit together before this "what used to be" place become a "well that's not there no more".

We asked about happy hour since Instagram said they had it, but turns out it's not a thing anymore. They owned the miscommunication and took care of us, offering $8 wine, discounts on a couple appetizers, and even a complimentary extra glass of wine to make it up. We ordered a few things off the tapas menu. The popcorn chicken, the octopus, uni and foie gras, short ribs, and beef tacos. The short ribs leaned a bit dry, but everything else was on point. Standout by far was the uni and foie gras. A little pricey for 4 pieces but very delicious. Big shoutout to the 2 staff on site, very friendly, warm and responsive throughout. I would recommend Tavern 157 if you're in the area looking for something casual with good drinks and food and not in the mood for Korean food. Just double-check happy hour before you go, as they mentioned a new one may be coming. Overall, a really enjoyable first visit.

I was with four guys and I happened to be the only girl with them because I was part of their "guys night out." The trooper I am, I went there with them with intentions to only drink and see what the hell they were talking about. They give you green tea with your bottle of hen which is delicious and reminds me of Hong Kong! I was SUPER uncomfortable, but once I started drinking it was a-ok! So there's different rooms and there's these paid girls dress in scandalous clothes walking from room to room drinking with whomever pay to go in the rooms. There are a bunch of older men groping these ladies but who's to say anything? The girls look happy! Overall it was pretty entertaining to see how the night progressed! Some girls left with the guys, other guys left with each other and there's bartenders eating meat on skewers! So with that said, I only recommend guys who have other intentions and meet really FRIENDLY women to come here...
