This place has been around since I was in high school and is still a spot my husband and friends go to regularly just to relieve stress and shoot some pool. Typical no frill kinda place but you have the option of getting drinks and food! For a pool hall, was surprised at how good the food actually is.. staff are all nice and helpful! Comes around to clear your table and take order when needed. They take cash so easy to pay when you're like me and never carry cash.

You have to park in the street, not the parking lot that's for CVS. The tables are well-maintained, and there are plenty. The Sunday afternoon was slow but more people came in towards the evening. There are hourly rates, and it's cheaper if you play with more people. I got the BLT with Cajun fries. The fries were very crunchy. The food was well-seasoned. There was a mixup with the billing because 4 of us were playing then 2 of us so the rates were different. Service was ok.

I am almost embarrassed I've never written a Yelp review for Cue bar - this is my place. My "Cheers". My second home - I've been coming here for like a decade & there is no other place that compares in ambiance & quality of their pool tables. That's why you see some reserved for VIP because they take meticulous care for avid pool players. Some tables are not so high in quality (any more) because idiots in groups don't appreciate a pool table and abuse them. For example, don't put your f**king drink on the table! It's so disrespectful & careless. This isn't your house it's a place of business. This is why their hourly rate is higher than most because they probably need to cover the damage this shit does for fools who don't realize how expensive it is to run this kind of establishment. Anyhoo, Jesse is one of their managers & I can never say enough nice things about him - he's considerate, kind, alert, & very hands on. He's also a kick ass pool player which means he has a love for the game so because of that he does his job properly. For all of you on Yelp complaining how you got kicked out or reprimanded means the problem was probably you. Look inward. As a bonus, while it's totally irrelevant, he's pretty easy on the eyes. :) Food wise I love the steak which is almost laughable because it's a pool hall but the whole combo with rice & that sauce is so good - I used to play pool for like 6 hours & that was my happy end of the night meal- not exactly great for my waist but YOLO. Also can't go wrong with the shrimp quesadillas. Saturday nights get crazy busy most of the time and they often show all the UFC fights without a cover charge & that's so awesome. They always have happy hour deals & overall this place is fun even if you're just chilling at the bar. Don't forget about their various pool leagues. I was in their 8-ball league for a few years & I met some cool ass people who I'm still friends with now. I'm so grateful this place has been open for so long & I hope it's there forever! Thank you Cue Bar, for all the memories I've had and will continue to make! God knows how many drunken selfies I've taken in that bathroom. Haha

I like that this is a local pool hall with decent food and service. The staff is friendly. It does tend to get pretty busy here though so you might have to wait a bit, and if you do get a table be ready to avoid bumping into the players at the table next to you. Regardless I still have a good time when I come here. The prices are pretty fair and I like the overall atmosphere and decorations. Bar area with some TVs around the hall. Parking is a bit tough but there are meters. Look forward to coming back :)

Cue bar has multiple pool tables as well as ping pong tables. There's an area with couches if you want a more lounge type of vibe. There's also a bar and high top tables. The drinks are good. I kept it simple and got a vodka cranberry. The appetizers were all good; chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, quesadillas. They also play good music and you can request songs to play on the machine for a fee.

Great size pool hall, nice ambiance, lots of available tables, TVs and screens everywhere, decent size bar, and sofas to lounge at and play other games. The service was pretty good for a Friday afternoon but the poor girl was running from the front door, to the bar, to servicing the tables all by herself. She did an excellent job though and made really good drinks. The rum punch and honey lemonade were both pretty good (but expensive!). The drinks are about $10-$11 each and are not tall glasses. The pretzel bites tasted really good, and it was listed as a "happy hour" appetizer, but it was only discounted $1 (from $8 to $7). I would give 5 stars but the prices are outrageous and they automatically add 20% gratuity if your food/drinks reach $75, which they don't tell you until you get the bill. Then ask for extra tip. Definitely a place to visit if you looking to chill and have a good time, but bring your wallet and be prepared for the prices!! Additionally, unless you planning to drink beer, don't expect much of a "happy hour".

Took my son (10yrs old) to play for 2 hours and had lunch there. Place is clean, tables are good, food was wayyy better than i expected. Wings were better than my local wing spots. Will be returning in a few weeks. They don't seem to have pool sticks for kids but i'll probably be buying one for my lil one. Great spot!

Thanks for other Yelpers review and got us prepared for any unexpected. Gladly picked this billiard Hall , it did not disappoint us. Definitely a next visit is on our list. We came on a right time on a Friday night , there were plenty of pool tables for the crowd during our visit. Counted them all , 21 - insanely big hall and the pool tables are neatly aligned. Each table is properly lighted . Lots of seats , lounge chairs , dining tables for players and guests. Ping pong tables, beer pong tables , game tables, cue sticks stands are visible. Saw some played a game or two and sounded having a blast. It's a decent billiard hall I would say. Patrons are not rowdy , most liked just came from offices just like us. We were welcomed and serviced right away by the waitress on charge. She was efficient, friendly and suggestive of their specials for the night. Beer bottle or on tap is only $3 and change while playing pool during their happy hour, 5-8 pm M-F. Other drinks are on discounted price while on play. Check their website for pool game pricing. There is a huge bar and lounge upon entry if you feel like not playing. At around 8 pm, the DJ started playing cool music making the ambiance feels pretty neat. Street parking only.

Terrible service and not worth paying for bad vibes. I've gone there three times now and can share, this sentiment was constant.

As a Pool Player, I would say this is the best place to play in Queens. Maybe even New York City but who wants to pay city rates?

We ordered garlic honey & sweet soy wings, and chorizo sliders and asked for 2 waters for a to go order but ended up cancelling the waters since we brought our own water bottles. Friend and I ordered food with the bartender/server and then gave our credit card to the server/bartender to pay before receiving our receipt. When we received the bill for signature, the bill just showed the total without an itemized receipt which came out to be 20% higher than what we had expected so we pointed out to the server that the waters might've been accidentally included to which the bartender/server confirmed it wasn't included so that's when we were a little concerned since the total amount was a lot higher than we had expected so we asked for an itemized receipt to find out that a 20% gratuity was automatically included to our take out order. Once the server handed the itemized receipt to us, he did not mention his added on gratuity that he gave himself and the sense he gave us was as if he was entitled to the 20% gratuity. Understanding that the economy is not doing so great right now so friend and I did not ask for the gratuity to be removed but the experience itself left quite a distaste for both of us especially as first timers.

Arriving, the space is bright and airy. At the table there was a lovely potted plant with our reservation name which we were able to take home with us. Such a nice touch. The trivia was really fun and something different to do. We started off with the maple bacon donut holes for the table. They came out piping hot and had the perfect donut texture. They were so good. They have a lot of cocktails and cocktails to choose from. I opted for the Spritz which was a light Aperol Spritz and it was perfect for brunch. The Paloma was also quite good. I had the Tap Stack which was pancakes layered with bacon and topped with a corn flake crusted chicken cutlet. The portion was large and hearty. The chicken was so crunchy and yummy. The bacon was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were a bit on the tough and dry side. The breakfast burrito, BEC and brunch burger were all good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Mother's Day is a day I always avoided eating out on, but Taproom changed my mind about going out on Mother's Day could actually be enjoyable!
