You can never go wrong with this place whether you're stopping by after dinner or looking for somewhere to hang out for a few hours.They also have some really good wings Buffalo, of course! and the nachos are a great option to snack on while you're playing. The vibe is laid back, the music is good, and there's always a fun energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. I am almost embarrassed I've never written a Yelp review for Cue bar - this is my place. My "Cheers". My second home - I've been coming here for like a decade & there is no other place that compares in ambiance & quality of their pool tables. That's why you see some reserved for VIP because they take meticulous care for avid pool players. Some tables are not so high in quality (any more) because idiots in groups don't appreciate a pool table and abuse them. For example, don't put your f**king drink on the table! It's so disrespectful & careless. This isn't your house it's a place of business. This is why their hourly rate is higher than most because they probably need to cover the damage this shit does for fools who don't realize how expensive it is to run this kind of establishment. Anyhoo, Jesse is one of their managers & I can never say enough nice things about him - he's considerate, kind, alert, & very hands on. He's also a kick ass pool player which means he has a love for the game so because of that he does his job properly. For all of you on Yelp complaining how you got kicked out or reprimanded means the problem was probably you. Look inward. As a bonus, while it's totally irrelevant, he's pretty easy on the eyes. :) Food wise I love the steak which is almost laughable because it's a pool hall but the whole combo with rice & that sauce is so good - I used to play pool for like 6 hours & that was my happy end of the night meal- not exactly great for my waist but YOLO. Also can't go wrong with the shrimp quesadillas. Saturday nights get crazy busy most of the time and they often show all the UFC fights without a cover charge & that's so awesome. They always have happy hour deals & overall this place is fun even if you're just chilling at the bar. Don't forget about their various pool leagues. I was in their 8-ball league for a few years & I met some cool ass people who I'm still friends with now. I'm so grateful this place has been open for so long & I hope it's there forever! This is a great pool hall with friendly employees and a calm and comfortable ambiance. The tables are well maintained and the cue sticks and shooting equipment are in great condition. The space has a bar and television screens throughout the floor to set the mood for shooting pool. It does tend to get pretty busy here though so you might have to wait a bit, and if you do get a table be ready to avoid bumping into the players at the table next to you. This review is strictly for a private event, as I've been to the place before just to play ping pong and it was fine. The food we got there was fine. It's the service that was basically non-existent. My party was scheduled on a day when they had a billiards tournament, without me knowing, and they just basically left us to our own devices to do everything on our own...serve the food and water, cut up the cake, light the candle, clean up, etc. They even made us bring our own plates for the cake and didn't give us forks to eat it with until we asked. The service was pretty good for a Friday afternoon but the poor girl was running from the front door, to the bar, to servicing the tables all by herself. She did an excellent job though and made really good drinks. The rum punch and honey lemonade were both pretty good (but expensive!). The drinks are about $10-$11 each and are not tall glasses. The pretzel bites tasted really good, and it was listed as a "happy hour" appetizer, but it was only discounted $1 (from $8 to $7). I would give 5 stars but the prices are outrageous and they automatically add 20% gratuity if your food/drinks reach $75, which they don't tell you until you get the bill. Then ask for extra tip. Definitely a place to visit if you looking to chill and have a good time, but bring your wallet and be prepared for the prices!! Took my son (10yrs old) to play for 2 hours and had lunch there. Place is clean,tables are good, food was wayyy better than i expected. Wings were better than my local wing spots. This bar has changed over the years, I use to come here regularly. I came here the other night with two of my friends. The bartender was very quick with us we placed a drink order and since they did not have something my friend wanted he kind of wanted to be guided to something else. He asked how a beer tasted and she replied we don't give samples. She wasn't helpful when it came to the decision making or selling him on anything. She made the drinks and then walked away to sit down. Never asked if we wanted food or anything else, I mean the service sucked. Some are narrow pocket that some players prefer and others are wide pockets for the preference of others. They have a nice food menu decide decide from while you are playing pool, or sitting at one of the tables near the bar. They will bring the food to your table. I found that the prices to use the tables were a bit higher than I expected. But, they explain the prices in detail, per person or by group prior to playing so that you can pick the pricing best for you or your group. We came on a right time on a Friday night , there were plenty of pool tables for the crowd during our visit. Counted them all , 21 - insanely big hall and the pool tables are neatly aligned. Each table is properly lighted . Lots of seats , lounge chairs , dining tables for players and guests. Ping pong tables, beer pong tables , game tables, cue sticks stands are visible. Saw some played a game or two and sounded having a blast. It's a decent billiard hall I would say. Patrons are not rowdy , most liked just came from offices just like us. We were welcomed and serviced right away by the waitress on charge. She was efficient, friendly and suggestive of their specials for the night. Beer bottle or on tap is only $3 and change while playing pool during their happy hour, 5-8 pm M-F. Other drinks are on discounted price while on play. Check their website for pool game pricing. Not sure why we even ordered seafood at a sports bar but I don't recommend anyone ordering seafood here. The wings were pretty good. 10 wings for $11 and you get the option to order half/half of any flavor. We ordered the Bourbon and the Asian flavored. I preferred the Asian flavor and my friend preferred the Bourbon flavored. I guess this depends on your preference but the wings were pretty decent. Their waffle fries are incredible. Great place to go hang out with friends. It's a big space and they play good music. They have over 20 pool tables. A waitress came to our table quickly and brought us beverages quickly. They have lots of bar food as well, we got the beef nachos. I accompanied three friends to a bar for drinks and appetizers. Our IDs were checked, and we seated ourselves. After a while, we ordered our own drinks directly at the bar. We scanned the menu, and once our drinks were ready, we retrieved them from the bar. Our waitress finally appeared. She was friendly but seldom seen until we placed additional drink orders. When ready to leave, to our surprise, the bill included gratuity for six people. I questioned the waitress about this, and she simply stated, "That's the bill." We hadn't seen the bill before it was presented. We asked to speak to the manager, but on a Saturday night, he dismissed our concerns, saying he couldn't address the tip it is what they charged. I believe many people may be overcharged, so it's essential to scrutinize hefty gratuity bills without proper explanations. This establishment should be inspected by the Better Business Bureau for consistently charging gratuity for six people when groups can be four or less. read more

An otherwise 4-star review has been downgraded to 3 because of the way Cue Bar charges its customers (see review end). Cue Bar is huge, so you never have to wait for a pool table. There are options for other activities as well, such as ping pong, beer pong (yes, there are designated beer pong tables), air hockey, and a couple of electronic games (boxing, darts). Simply put, you won't be bored here. But if you are, there are chairs and benches throughout, including a lounge area near the bar. Prices are moderate. They charge per person, per hour, and there are drink specials depending on the night. When I came here on Sunday, my 2 friends and I were charged $36.24 for 2 hours 6 minutes of ping pong/pool ($5.75 per person per hour), and $42 for 6 Silver Margarita specials ($7 each). The total was $78.24, but we were charged $78.25. Obviously, this is hardly a big difference, but it really irritates me when businesses have willy-nilly practices for charging customers. read more

Came here for the wing special .25 each when I looked it up on yelp. The sign outside says $3 heinekens, $3 corona's & .25 cent wings when you purchase a bucket. My friend and I ordered the wings which they said the maximum we can order per a beer bucket is 12 pieces. Ok fine this was a first for me since other places didn't limit the amount on wings ordered. We got the regular buffalo sauce since the spicy asian one wasn't part of the special because as the waitress said it takes a long time to make (ridiculous)!
