Good deal if you buy gift cards they give another gift card you can use after the first of the year. We were seated immediately in a booth and our waiter Daniel came over and introduced himself. For drinks I had a Stella Draft. My wife had water and daughter had a sprite. Dinner my wife and I ordered the Chicken Avocado Wrap, came with fries. Our daughter ordered the Stuffed Vodka Rigatoni. Food came out in a timely manner. My wife and I enjoyed our sandwiches, the fries were hot and crispy. Our daughter's meal was also very good. They offer quite a few beers and you can even get a flight to try a few. Tap room has a nice decor and ambiance like a Tap room should have. I am pleasantly surprised. Heard much of TAP ROOM but this is my first visit to one of the many locations in Long Island while surpassing all my expectations of a chain restaurant. The entrées are definitely restaurant quality and drinks were fresh and cold. I especially enjoy the fact the Bar has a wide range selection of tap and spirits. Came here after a work trip was wrapping up. Located on a miracle mile-ish stretch, they have only a small parking lot but then a larger one across the street. Looks how you'd probably envision it would inside, and service was very good with lots of hardworking younger guys who know the end well. Good amount of people in here for a early on a random Thursday. Beer list was underwhelming for a place for called tap house. Typically with a name like that, I'm thinking dozens of tap options with a good amount of local stuff. Most of the options were widely available with just a few locals; hey, it is a mini-chain however they could do much better, even just styles of beer (they were IPA heavy). I got Barrier Money and was happy enough. Had the steak sandwich which was surprisingly good. It had a good portion of steak for the price, which was cooked to a perfect mid rare, with enough toppings (gruyere, arugula, bacon onion jam, garlic aioli) to keep things interesting. Nice decor, clean environment, multiple flat screens and comfortable button-back booth seating lined up against the walls easily accommodates six to seven people. With their team of attentive staff, I generally order shared apps of either Brussel Sprouts, Mac and Cheese Bites, Spinach Dip or the occasional Chicken Sandwich or not so bad Burger. My wife and I decided we wanted to go out to eat. She had been to Tap Room before and liked it so she drove me to the Jericho restaurant. Our waitress, Lisa, great and very friendly and most helpful with the menu. We ordered a Pale ale beer and a Manhattan which were excellent. We ordered mussels in a hot sauce with toasted bread. Wow! It was delicious and spicy, we both loved it! The sauce was so good we dipped our bread in the sauce...so good! We both order the chicken pot pie. My wife got the Brussel sprouts and I got the French fries sides. We were so full after eating, we decided to skip the desserts. The desserts sounded delicious. Maybe next time we'll save room for our dessert! This was a great culinary experience and we both loved Lisa and the manager. They all were so friendly and helpful. Our first time in the Jericho Tap Room, sadly our last too. They'd call that one and done ! There was a loud group of 50 packed into the bar area, bar closed for that group. The waitstaff was hanging out in the kitchen and outside the restaurant, where was the manager ? Weak service. The food was mediocre and the check comes already inflated for credit card fees, what if the customer wasn't using a card . The menus are beat up and offer less choices than the online option, in fact they added charges for sides, not reflected in the printed menu or online menu. We stopped by with 2 kids on a Sunday around 5pm and were seated right away. The restaurant was not too big, the atmosphere was nice and the service was very friendly. They gave us a nice booth which was great for the kids. We got 2 glasses of wine, kids burger, kids tenders, short rib pappardelle, mussels and steak sandwich. All the food was very heavily seasoned, especially the pappardelle and mussels which has good flavors but the salt overpowered it. The pours for the wines were very lacking - about 1/4 of the glass was full (regular wine glass) and they charged $12 each so I would advise against getting a glass of wine there. The best were the kids tenders and fries so the meal ended up being very basic. One of the kids meals, we got the oranges instead of fries that ended up being soggy canned oranges and the kids wouldn't touch them (I don't blame them). Unfortunately, we won't be back again despite the restaurant being relatively close to us with comfortable seating and good vibes. read more

So this is the small location and definitely much quieter They have another location in garden City New York which was the location that I was looking forward to go to because the atmosphere is much more different over there. It is definitely more busy at the garden City location however the service was great at both locations. The food was also very delicious. I've been to another Tap Room location and I think this one is a little better, but smaller. They had live music for a Saturday night and the food was better here than at the RVC location. I recently went to Tap room on an impromptu date night with my husband. We got there and were seated right away which was great but, that was the only highlight of the evening. We were seated and never greeted by a server. We continued to wait for even water at our table and nothing. No one ever approached us to let us know they would be right with us. We continued to wait and no one came by or even said hello. People who were seated after us were getting waited on before us. We ended up leaving. I alerted the hostess that no one came by. I went to the tap room in Jericho with my friends. My waiter seemed very inexperienced. Not knowing what drink was supposed to go to who. My Mac and cheese bites were great. My Mac and cheese burger tasted funny. The Mac and cheese on it was gross. The burger itself was so below par, not worth the money I paid. My husband and I have been going here about twice a week since it opened. We love the menu and the changing seasonal options that they offer. (Thank you chef!). They have some sophisticated dinner options that you may not expect, so lots to choose from. It's fun to show up for Bingo or Trivia, both free to play. But my favorite thing about this location is the staff. Lisa, Jeremy, Damion, Sue and Andre just to name a few. We are always greeted so warmly and they do their best to meet my special dietary requests. Andre, the manager, always checks in to see how we are doing and my favorite thing about him, he is always pitching in to help his staff. There is a real sense of being welcome and a part of the Tap Room family at this location. Reservations recommended. We did not make a reservation during our first visit as we did not think we needed one. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for a table which isn't too long. We tried to go to the bar for a drink while we waited, however, there was only one bartender and the bar was packed with football fans. Alas we ended up waiting up front for our table. There are TVs everywhere here. Literally everywhere. You can be seated anywhere here and watch the game. For drinks we tried their old fashioned which was just okay. For an app we had the spinach dip which was incredible and came with warm bread for dipping. Entrees I tried the tap tenders which were good and he had the tap burger which was huge, but good. The only real problem here is the service. Our waitress was on it at first but after we got our food she just stopped showing up. When we wanted a refill the manager had to end up taking our order. Then we got a box from the busboy and had him tell our waitress we wanted our check. The whole atmosphere became very sloppy. Additionally our waitress gave us the check and walked away, unlike other tables where they had handheld tablets to pay right then and there. Very disorganized towards the end. I was impressed by this place. Met up with a buddy at this place on a weekday afternoon. Very cool looking and very clean restaurant/bar. Restrooms also very clean. The customer service is excellent. There is a reception counter at entrance and if it is not staffed , a staff member rushes up front immediately to greet you. We sat at the bar. Bartender was attentive and helpful as was every staff member there. They seem to go out of their way to be helpful and polite. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their food. The pretzel was delicious, it had the right amount of salt and fluffy and buttery. The cheese was exceptional. However the mozzarella sticks lacked flavor and it didn't taste like mozzarella cheese.
