This restaurant has a ton of potential. It's never really full, even on a Saturday night. It makes me worried that it won't be standing for long, but while it's in business, they definitely deserve more customers. My husband and I had a date night here. The alcoholic beverages were good and strong. The appetizers and cheese board were my favorite. We had the Brussels sprouts and all 3 offered cheeses. I would say that the cheese boards should definitely come with another carb like a cracker or something other than just a few slices of bread. Overall we enjoyed the food, but being one of the only couples in a restaurant can be kind of awkward. Again, I really hope this review garners some more business for them. Bar Americano serves a wide variety of delicious dishes that will make you want to come again and again to try something you missed during a previous visit. Their Happy Hour is the perfect way to enjoy time after work or an early dinner. I especially recommend the Garlic Spiced Shrimp and as mentioned by others - the Brussels Sprouts. Start to finish meal was great. We had an amazing server who was knowledgeable about the menu and great with my 5 year old. Met the chef and owner who was so sweet and able to adapt dishes easily to fit my mother in law's taste. Calamari and meatball apps were delicious Entrees we had were Salmon, mushroom risotto (vegan), steak sandwich, steak fris. Everyone was happy with their dinner. Warm, friendly environment and delicious food with plenty of choices make this moderately priced restaurant a crowd pleaser! Four of us enjoyed everything we ordered - fried calamari, cauliflower steak, grilled salmon (requested instead of mesquite preparation) were some of the winners. What a hidden little gem. We had dinner here last night and the food was absolutely amazing, as was the wait staff and chef. Craig the chef who is part owner of this little gem did his thing. We tried so many different dishes on the menu and I can honestly say that everything that came out was delicious. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection very tender, the calamari as well, we also had the short rib sliders, steak sandwich, grilled shrimp, scallions with risotto, meatballs, and the mushroom toast was delicious. And lastly we had churros for dessert. I can't say enough great things about this place. The decor is very cutesy perfect for date night or girls night out, it was also very much affordable and of course the Playlist was awesome. We will definitely be back and are planning to host a birthday party there. We really enjoyed our time there and this place has just become our favorite little spot. Decided to go there for first time based on yelp, google reviews and interesting menu. Went with 2 friends. All had drinks- all good. Started with Brussel sprouts and cauliflower sides as apps.-very delicious! And enough for 4 peeps. 2 of us had mushroom risotto which was also delicious. 1 had short rib entree-also delicious! Our server lady (sorry forgot name) was very knowledgeable and friendly-chatted with her after our meal. Chef/owner Craig stop by and asked how everything was going-always a nice touch. Came here on a Tuesday night and it was quiet, but the service was attentive (not pushy) and honestly the food was really good! The brussel sprouts were delicious and the honey chicken skewers were moist. Drinks were great as well. The owner/chef came over to check in on us as well.
