This place is described as tapas-style, so some dishes are on the smaller size, but the more expensive dishes are full portion: the burger, chicken, pasta w/crab, etc. Seems they also change their menu very regularly, as I saw some fantastic looking things in the pictures here, none of which were on the menu. On the more expensive side price wise, and there is a full bar and bourbon selection to punch it higher. Tried a few things, some I'd skip if I came back, but also a few things I'd like to try that I didn't get to. Skippables include the Gouda Gruyères: onion soubise and the cacio e pepe, both underwhelming and more expensive than it should have been. I also tried the gem salad, chicken wings, the rigatoni with sausage and broccoli rabe, and the flan for dessert. Flavors were good, the wings were very heavy on the salt but had good flavor, and everything else was covered in tons of cheese, from the salad to the pasta, it was a lot. Service was quick, waitress friendly. People in the area seem to absolutely love this place and overhearing people talk, there's nothing bad on the menu, and the corn agnolotti was delicious (I was sad to have changed my order, this is what I was originally going to get). Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

The olive oil they were in was great though and we dipped our food into it and they were perfectly cooked. The paella is supposed to be for 2-4 people which I can see if you have more tapas but we finished it off. It came with a healthy amount of shrimp, grilled calamari and chorizo and was perfectly seasoned. We also appreciated how the rice was a bit crispy and not mushy. The table next to ours ordered what appeared to be a very good looking fruit cobbler of some kind but we were too stuffed for dessert. The past year both my family and I have spent at least $2,000 to get consistently tasty meals (arancini always hits the spot), but slow slow service, over and over again. You need more people. Whether it be bussers, wait staff, kitchen staff, I don't know and frankly it's not my job to.... when I see our waiters running around and drinks are empty, orders taking eons and items being forgotten that tells me there's more going on than whatever is happening at my table. Yes, I last came on mother's day weekend, but the previous visits were not during super busy times and I experienced the same issues. You need more help. That's all.
