I've gone for lunch mostly with coworkers. One time for dinner with my family. Food is always delicious. Love their appetizers and regular menu as well as specials. Their dessert is beyond delicious as well! Service has been good each time. No complain. Place looks beyond beautiful and clean. I'm excited to try their new brunch menu on the weekdays!

A really great American fare spot. Solid food and service was excellent. I would bring my girlfriends for a girls night out or my family for a special occasion dinner to celebrate. We did a mix of appetizers and desserts to share. Highly recommend the French onion soup / they use beef stock as one should and lots of cheese. The sliders were a classic crowd pleaser. Fun cocktails were also on the menu and seasonally updated.

Ribs w dirty bbq. Chews clean off the bone. Dunno how they did it. The potatoes were perfect.

5 stars for me. Popular place on a Thursday night for this area. Welcoming vibe, great bar. Was craving ribs on my last night in town for work and this was the place. Great ribs and killer dirty sauce. The sauce was flavor forward and not sugar reliant. And they weren't overly sauced, a bit messy, but nothing a couple wet naps couldn't handle. Subbed honey roasted potato's for the side and they low key almost starred in the dish. This place is doing something right. Mike makes great manhattans and any cocktail, great dinner host to everyone who was there. If I'm back in this city, I'll be back 100%. Great vibe.

On the spur of the moment a friend and I were looking for a place half-way between our homes on a Thursday night. While I had heard great things about this restaurant, I hadn't been in yet. I'm sure glad we chose to come here. Since I'm perpetually early, I went to have a beer at the bar while waiting and had a chance to peruse the happy hour menu. Lots of good stuff here including many beers and cocktails. This menu is available until 6 pm during the week. Bartender was a doll and gave me the skinny on all her favorites for both the happy hour and regular menus. Bar seats maybe 15 people and a tv above will keep a solo flyer busy for a bit. Once my buddy arrived, we were seated in the dining room toward the back. A great space able to seat many patrons. Larger groups can easily be accommodated. Our server Zack was awesome and came by just often enough. He also did a great job spacing out our courses so as not to overload our table. We started with soup and then had one of the starts of the evening- sliced seared tuna. This was a reco from the earlier mentioned bartender and it was a super home run. So were the Bang Bang Tacos. ( another reco from our great bartender food guru.) My friend said his salmon was good but not great and I had a burger that Zack recommended. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious, this was an incredible burger and I could have taken at least half home. I didn't because it was so good and I felt stuffed when it was finished. We didn't stop there though - the dessert menu looked awesome and I wasn't going to miss it. Coffee and snifter of Chambord matched with the cinnamon apple explosion was the "icing on the cake" Great meal and service. Will definitely come back and the sooner the better.

This a a beautiful restaurant /bar beautifully decorated for the holidays, their drinks are unique and fun. The menu is more of an American vibe but very tasty and prices are on all different ranges. Their portions are also great for example the tacos were an app but could definitely be an entre! Service was on point thanks for the time!

Went on a weekday night for a birthday dinner celebration. Food is good with great portion sizes. Service is fine. Fun place to go out with a large group with nice interior decorations.

We came as a group of three to try out Hilltop. Ambiance is clean, warm, rustic, and we sat by a cozy fireplace. Nick was our waiter - very friendly and attentive. We loved everything we ordered: French onion soup, lobster bisque, dancing shrimp, seared tuna, nachos with duo dipping sauces, Caesar salad salad with a little bit of Kale added , and cinnamon apple explosion dessert. 100% recommend!

Came here with the family for brunch. We had a large table and the staff was very nice and accommodating to all of us. I ordered the French Toast Dippers. They were large cubes of French Toast with sides of lingenberry and Nutella sauce. I also tried one of the Buffalo wings, and I thought they were really good! I normally don't order wings for brunch, but I would definitely order these. The restaurant is pretty large and spacious, and the decor is modern. The price of brunch is pretty reasonable, but I think that dinner is pricey. Would like to come back one day to try different items from their menu.

Really nice place love the ambiance.. busy but we didn't wait at all.. we were seated at the half booth which was perfect.. service was good.. waited 28 min for the lemon chicken which was bland.. our clean salmon was delicious..we sub sweet potato for clean fries and brocolini for broccoli ... the large salad is HUGE.. but overall it's a good experience I highly recommend

Restaurant was pretty looking. Drinks were pretty strong. I got the dream of spring. The service was a bit slow-we waited forever for the food (even though there wasnt too much people) and it was, mid. For apps we tried the grilled octopus which sauce lacked flavor. The nachos were okay but not evenly layered. Their specialty, beef Wellington, was okay but nothing to write home about. The pork chop was the best thing, but the sweet potato mash and sauce came with a slightly sour taste. So I'm not sure if its good enough to return since theres a lot of better options food and price wise.

I've been here numerous times. The food is phenomenal every time. Portions are huge and shareable. We always have leftovers. There's a parking lot but it is always full so be sure to arrive early. Highly recommend making reservations in advance to avoid a long wait. We went for brunch and there were multiple menus given (brunch, lunch, seasonal specials) It was a little overwhelming at first but there was something for everyone! We ordered the following- - Fried pickles to start. 10/10 lightly breaded and perfectly fried served with their house made ranch dressing. - Full rack dirty bbq ribs with onion rings and house Cole slaw. 10/10 the ribs were amazing. The meat is so tender and flavorful. Even as leftovers the next day, it tasted amazing. - My friends ordered to Pork Osso Bucco and the Cherry Pepper Marsala and both loved their dishes. - For dessert, the server recommended the Cinnamon Apple Explosion and it did not disappoint! It's an Apple pie filled French toast with cinnamon sugar crumb top and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzle. 10/10. They also serve coffee from Mongo's cafe.

My daughter, who works near this restaurant, recommended we go here one day while we were visiting L.I. in July. Sadly, she couldn't accompany us for lunch, but we went anyway, and we were so glad we did. EXCELLENT CHOICE !!! We walked in right as they opened at 12pm. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, very spacious both in terms of building size, as well as the space in between the tables. Very nice bar area, too. The chairs were very comfortable ! As for the food, it was terrific. My husband ordered a BLTB sandwich, which was a BLT sandwich with the addition of brie cheese and garlic aioli. The bacon itself looked to be of superior quality and cut. Definitely NOT the typical shriveled up pieces that one typically gets. Instead, the slices were thick and meaty. My husband devoured his sandwich and said it was likely the BEST BLT sandwich he's had. As for me, I don't eat bacon, so I couldn't see for myself, but it certainly looked delicious. I myself got their Greek salad with grilled chicken. To say that it was a huge salad is an understatement. I got 2.5 servings out of it easily. Chicken was well seasoned and moist. The veggies were all crisp and fresh, and the dressing was delicious. I find that most "house made" Greek dressings are way too heavy on the vinegar and not nearly enough seasonings/flavor, but something told me to order it from here anyway... so I did, and it was PERFECT. Not too much vinegar, and it definitely had flavor. Plus, they brought me an ample portion of it... something I have to fight for out on the island, for reasons I don't understand. Anyway, my one (very slight) criticism is that I would've liked more kalamata olives in keeping up with the ratio of other items in the salad. One can never have too many of those. I suppose I could've asked for more, and they would've brought them, but I didn't, so that's on me. Their menu overall had many delicious sounding dishes. I'd love to return in the future, so hopefully when we return to visiting my daughter, we will make it back HERE. Even my son-in-law hasn't had the pleasure of dining here. We're going to have to remedy that because he would LOVE it. It's a terrific restaurant !!

First time coming here and we will be back. The appetizers were good we got a pretzel and duo dip. Both were great. For an entree i got Rigatoni it was a great portion but the sauce and chicken could have some seasoning it was a bit bland. Everyone else's food looked good as well all the portions were huge. I would come back for the service and appetizers more than Entrees. Overall great experience just wish there my dish was more flavorful.

The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

We absolutely loved the food, portions were huge and flavors were absolutely top notch. We managed to get so full from off the entrees that we managed to have some leftovers for our kids to enjoy back at home. Of course we had to leave some room for desert. During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. I'm still thinking about them now as I write this review! I wish there was more than 5. My boyfriend was nice and let me have the extra one! For our entrees, we each had a different Benedict. I had the Andouille one and my boyfriend went with the crab cake Benedict. Both were packed with flavor! The potatoes that came with them were also packed with flavors! We ordered additional drinks; ultimate Bloody Mary and Hurricane. Sip sip hooray! So good! For dessert I had the cheese cake parfait and my boyfriend had the cinnamon bread pudding. Desserts are made on sight at the bakery and both of these desserts were great! Even the whipped cream was fresh. Everything was amazing from start to finish! Our server, whose name I don't remember was such a sweet heart! We will absolutely return! 5+ stars all the way!

HAD MY 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!!…read more This was only my second time here but my first visit made such an impression that I had to celebrate my big day here!! I started my party planning with a previous employee but upon getting in touch with the owner TOMMY, everything went off without a hitch!!! My host/server MICHELLE T. was truly amazing!!!!! She orchestrated my party like a pro, checked-in frequently with me, perfectly timed my chosen courses and paid careful attention to ny birthday cake and cupcakes I brought in. I loved all their party options, they truly have something for everyone. If you want afternoon, brunch or dinner times, you can literally have dozens of different selections for your entire party courses, I hope to have a future celebration here, and try even more delicious choices. Valet parking was a great plus, location is also very convenient from Queens and Suffolk counties. Defintely check them out if you're looking for a weekend brunch, romantic dinner or a family celebration.

Our group of 7 had reservations for 7:00pm a couple of Fridays ago. When we arrived, we pulled up…read moreto the valet, handed him our keys, and walked in right on time. We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.
