Clean restaurant, good service but the menu was limited, but what they did have was very good. Good atmosphere and the bar looked busy.

HAD MY 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!!…read more This was only my second time here but my first visit made such an impression that I had to celebrate my big day here!! I started my party planning with a previous employee but upon getting in touch with the owner TOMMY, everything went off without a hitch!!! My host/server MICHELLE T. was truly amazing!!!!! She orchestrated my party like a pro, checked-in frequently with me, perfectly timed my chosen courses and paid careful attention to ny birthday cake and cupcakes I brought in. I loved all their party options, they truly have something for everyone. If you want afternoon, brunch or dinner times, you can literally have dozens of different selections for your entire party courses, I hope to have a future celebration here, and try even more delicious choices. Valet parking was a great plus, location is also very convenient from Queens and Suffolk counties. Defintely check them out if you're looking for a weekend brunch, romantic dinner or a family celebration.

Our group of 7 had reservations for 7:00pm a couple of Fridays ago. When we arrived, we pulled up…read moreto the valet, handed him our keys, and walked in right on time. We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, polished, and inviting without being overly formal. The lighting, the décor, and the overall energy of the place created a really comfortable setting that made us want to settle in and enjoy a proper meal. We started with some shared bites and then moved on to our mains. I ordered the short ribs, and they were nothing short of incredible. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, deeply flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sauce that came with it was rich and balanced--sweet, savory, and just the right amount of depth without overpowering the beef. Every bite was satisfying. I kept going back for more and honestly could have ordered a second portion. It was one of those dishes that makes you slow down and really appreciate the cooking. My spouse ordered a salad, and it was excellent as well. Fresh ingredients, bright flavors, and thoughtfully put together. It wasn't just a side dish afterthought--it felt like a proper, well-executed plate. The combination of textures and the dressing worked perfectly. We both kept commenting on how clean and vibrant everything tasted. Service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made good recommendations, and checked on us at the right moments without hovering. The pacing of the meal felt natural, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. Everything about the night felt well-executed--the food quality, the presentation, the ambiance, and the hospitality. It's the kind of place that makes you leave already thinking about when you'll come back. Highly recommend the short ribs if you're looking for something hearty and memorable, and the salad was a great lighter option that still delivered on flavor. We'll definitely be returning.

Bread baskets came out to 3 tables that arrived after us, we had completely empty water glasses and no one coming by to ask for more water. It took a long time for our food to arrive, meanwhile people who sat after us got served. There was also some confusion about which server was responsible for our table. We heard they were short a server but honestly, where was the manager? Every table suffered from a lack of service. We were down to our last bites of food when our server finally showed up to check on our meal. For the food: the salmon with the curry sauce was good, however the sauce had no sign of curry...more of a soy sauce flavor. I was disappointed as that was why I ordered it. Two of us got that. The 3rd person got the fried fish sandwich for $26 that Henry's could have done a better job. It's too bad that the man who appeared to be the manager seems to be doing nothing. Any restaurant with this kind of situation should have had a manager walking around, perhaps doing a small dessert or something that made customers feel better about the lack of service. Members of our family have been here many times but seriously rethinking coming again for a while.

After that, everything went downhill. The rigatoni pasta was completely unbalanced, alternating between overwhelmingly spicy and overly salty. The biggest disappointment was the Chicken Milanese. It arrived unfinished, with no dressing at all. When we pointed it out, instead of correcting the dish, they brought us a tiny side of dressing. It was served with a sad handful of arugula, and at $39 it felt like a complete rip-off. Honestly, my local pizza place serves a better chicken cutlet. Dessert didn't redeem the meal. The crostini was forgettable, and the ice cream tasted like a generic supermarket brand. The restaurant itself is cute, but it's unbearably loud. We spent half the meal saying, "What?" because we couldn't hear each other across the table. The service was just as disappointing as the food. It was slow, and we had three different servers throughout the meal, making the experience feel disorganized and impersonal. With such a limited menu, you'd think the focus would be on executing every dish well. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your money elsewhere.

Is it the delicious food? Maybe the sophisticated yet sleek ambiance. I don't know what it is, but they got it and I love it. And I love showing them off to others. On a cold Tuesday night, it was pretty empty. I really hope the summer months are better to them. The table-side bread basket was amazing. We each got to pick which sort of bread we wanted. There was sourdough, focaccia and others. I went with the focaccia and never looked back. Burrata and beets, Brussels sprouts and salmon that was cooked perfectly was enjoyed while the specialty cocktails were sipped. We had all the attention of the staff being the only diners in there. It was such lovely time I'm going to make sure I don't wait to long to go back.
