I've been avoiding this spot since it first opened a few years ago--all because of my boys opinion. Safe to say... I was completely misguided. I went on a Friday around 7pm and valet parking was required (not sure if that's every night). Walking in, the space is big, open, nice set up especially the wine glass displays near the entrance and bar area. We were seated in a spacious, comfortable booth. I'll start with my only real complaint: attention to cleanliness before seating guests. There were crumbs on the table and seats, crayons and food on the floor, and even some residue on the utensils. That said, once we pointed it out, everything was handled quickly and professionally. From there, the night was all positives. The staff was very nice, personable, and really knew the menu. For my entrée, I ordered the tableside lobster pasta. They actually gave me lobster chunks instead of the tail, but honestly--it worked out in my favor. It was buttery, slightly smoked, and packed with flavor. I also tried the cowboy ribeye--I'd rate it about a 7/10. It was good, but could've used a bit more seasoning to really stand out. Now the highlights: the lamb appetizer and charred octopus were both excellent. The octopus was perfectly cooked and flavorful on its own--I didn't even need the citrus garnish. And the lamb? Let's just say I was fully enjoying it... no shame, I was picking the bone clean. For sides, we had sautéed broccoli rabe and olive oil mashed potatoes--both solid choices. Drinks were on point. I had the Italian Harvest (bourbon-based), which was smooth and strong enough that one was all I needed. My wife had the Spicy Sunset--also a hit. We wrapped things up with cheesecake and wine, which was the perfect ending to the night. Overall, this was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back for more of the Italian dishes--just probably skipping the steak next time. read more

So we went to One10 last night for our anniversary. Hostess was very nice, wished us a happy anniversary and sat us right away! That was the best part of the dinner. Note the restaurant was not busy at all. Once our waiter got around to coming over. He took our drink order and about 20 minutes later the drinks came. My wife's vodka drink came in a juice glass with a plastic straw. For a supposedly upscale place a drink should never be served like this. Plus it had a very dry old piece of lime in it. Awful. Eventually food order was taken. Pasta was cold. Lobster was rubbery. Steak was fatty. The smashed potatoes were very good and the highlight of my meal. But we ate as we were hungry. We then ordered the tiramisu. It came warm and melted and tasted awful. We couldn't eat it. We should have told waiter but at that point we just wanted to leave. Plus nobody asked us how everything was anyway. Oh and the girl spilled water on the floor at our table while filling our glasses. Accidents happen so no big deal but when I told her she looked at it and shrugged her shoulders and left. Luckily nobody slipped on it. As I looked around the restaurant I saw many tables waiting for service and for the most part everyone looked miserable. Overall service was terrible. Food terribly overpriced and ambience was awful. Food is decent but perhaps just too creamy and rich for my liking. I enjoy eating there but then my stomach has other plans later on at night. The place is beautiful, nicely lit, exposed wine cellar and nice bar areas. Staff is always top notch, very helpful and knowledgeable about the options. Have gotten a few different things here... chicken parm pizza is always a great choice if you're sharing with a large group. Their fish is delicious and fresh and my hubby always likes the filet mignon. We tried their cacio e pepe pasta recently and although really tasty, it was an overload of cream and richness. The same with the garlic mashed that we ordered which just has a lot of extraneous olive oil. I attended a private event that was hosted here, and the space immediately wowed most of us. Not only is the main dining space cavernous and impressively decorated, but our large private room was a lovely space to host a party. The flex walls they have here are a clever way to partition private rooms from the main dining space, and the accompanying sun-drenched solarium was the best place for pictures. Aside from a few minor snafus (like forgetting who ordered what or delivering a few entrees later than the rest of the table), service throughout our event was pretty attentive. The entrees were excellent. I don't usually order steaks, but I took a chance on the skirt steak and it was both flavorful and well cooked. Our table was a share-happy kind, which meant I got to share bites of other entrees. Everything seemed tasty and well-seasoned. A few things could've been better. Whatever pizzaz the entrees had were left to be desired in other courses. Our table had a general ho-hum attitude over our salad course, with most of us finding them overdressed and the greens wilted. The dessert course was met with a similarly shrugging attitude. I personally found the marscapone cheesecake to have a somewhat off-putting wax-like texture. When ordering, I was also never asked how I wanted my steak course done, which I found surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. Service was dutiful and diligent, we had three waitstaff! They could have been a little more coordinated in that once or twice the right hand didn't know what the left was doing. Lighting was stellar until they dimmed up. After that, was hard to see. The music was a tad loud and it was hard to hear and be heard over the crooning. The food was very good. Not great but very good. The calamari and shrimp appetizer had too many peppers and not enough calamari but it was fried just right and the flavor was stupendous. From the moment I drive in. The Valet attendant belittled me because I choose to park my own car. He then chased me down and went on to ask me to move my car (parked in an unmarked spot well to the rear) saying the spot I choose was "reserved for valet. ". He was rude and unprofessional. Drinks weren't bad, we had the cosmo, sorrento spritz, vodka infused pineapple and the Italian ice margarita. I wouldn't get that margarita again. After being promptly seated at your table we had wonderful servers, Mauricio and Joe. We took part in the $59 speacial. Our appetizers were tomatoes, Cesar salad and we added on the meatball. For our entrees we had the chicken parm and the crab stuffed shrimp. Both were excellent choices. We added on a side of lobster mac as well as mashed potatoes. We entered and were sent to the bar area to wait for our table, had a couple of their specialty drinks, they were very tasty , we were seated at our table and we're greeted by Mike and Dominique, they were great, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive. My wife and I started with a Wedge Salad and a Fried Calamari and Shrimp The seafood was cooked perfectly and the salad, well ,is a salad, very hard to mess that up. We continued with Duck Breast and a Bucatini Lobster , they were both great, the Duck was cooked perfectly we had a Creamed Spinach to accompany the food, and it was good, but I've had better . Very good food. Slow, disinterested service. My first impression wasn't the best. Not a fan of mandatory valet parking, especially given the small size of the lot. I simply find it to be an inconvenience and a nuisance. Upon walking in, I was more optimistic. Warm, open, inviting space. Appropriately lit. Really liked the open kitchen, and bar area. Wasn't as big a fan of our table. I wound up sitting on one of the couch-style seats that simply didn't provide much support. We were able to pull the table a bit closer which helped, but I still found it uncomfortable. Should have opted for a chair. Our menus were brought over quickly, and then we waited. And waited. And waited... Finally, at least our drink orders were taken. Then we waited. And waited. And waited... Drinks were finally brought over and we were notified that the runner who brought our drinks was our new waiter. Ok, fine. Then we waited. And waited. And waited... Our server came to take our order--finally. We did have some questions and allergy concerns. This was met with rolled eyes and indifference. Questions about nut allergies were answered. I understand that there are people who needlessly order gluten-free to the ire of waitstaff, but when celiac is involved it needs to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, our questions were only partially answered, leading to several diners not being able to partake in several items due to concerns over allergy safety. As for the food itself, my halibut was absolutely delicious. Properly cooked and flavorful. The accompanying lobster risotto was also a winner. Also very much enjoyed their rendition of brussels sprouts, nicely done without almonds. Were they gluten free? I'll never know... As for the appetizer, I shared in the charred octopus. A little tough and the flavor profile didn't quite work for me. Wouldn't order it again. A further problem came with the drinks and small requests. Drinks didn't quite come as ordered, and nobody got any of the bar fruits they ordered with their drinks. Many of the dishes ordered needed some acid or citrus, leaving the table to scramble to share the lemon that came with the octopus. Table of 8. Seated at about 7:45. Meal finished close to 10. That's simply too long given much of that time was simply waiting to place orders. In the end, I'm just not sure that the food made up for the service issues. This was my first and last time coming here. The only reason I went here was for a friend's birthday... I understand having valet and even if it's the only thing you offer for parking. But if you do, you need to have trustworthy people working for you. This seems to be an outsourced service the restaurant uses. When I was on my way home I noticed that my prescriptions were missing out of my car. The case they were in was moved from where I had it. So that just added to the terrible experience. The tables are cramped and close together. So it's kind of hard to move around the dining area. Seems like they are trying to add as many tables as allowed. The seats can get a tad uncomfortable, I had to get up and move around a few times. They have candles on the table so it helps a little with the "miner" lighting they have. Romantic? Maybe--- Hard to see? 100%. Now I usually never bing up the actual menu. But, theirs 100% needs to be changed. It is oddly big and runs vertically. Which makes it hard to read and keep at the already crammed tables. Our servers were professional and friendly. Knowing the specials and making suggestions for the table. On top of making sure everyone was doing good-- or if they needed another drink. Sadly the service was a little slow due the how busy they were. But they seem to be fully staffed with water fillers and all. For the prices they're charging the quality and quantity should be more up to par. For instance from the Cured Meats section the Genoa Salami seemed to be 8 pieces of Boars Head placed on a platter. The Wedge salad was very lackluster thrown on a plate lettuce with bacon some tomatoes and some over-pickled onions. I couldn't even finish it...The rice balls were okay. Nothing to write home about. A little over-fried, a bit on the small side, and only four of them. As for the steak... I am not even going to comment.. The bar / bartenders are cool and it's brighter. We've had a long relationship with One 10, having hosted two large family celebrations here over the years. The first went smoothly, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, the second experience -- and a more recent visit -- left us disappointed and unlikely to ever come back. During our second event, there were several issues that shouldn't happen at a venue in this price range. The bar staff didn't follow the arrangement we'd discussed and steered guests toward drinks we hadn't planned to cover, resulting in an unexpectedly large bar tab. The AV system also failed to work properly, and I lost a significant part of the event trying to help the staff fix what should have been resolved well in advance. We tried to move past that experience and continued to dine at other restaurants in the same group, but a recent visit back to One 10 was the final straw. A mix-up with applying our loyalty points turned into an unnecessary argument. Despite clearly saying we wanted to use our points rather than a much smaller coupon, the staff processed it incorrectly and insisted it couldn't be changed -- until we pressed the issue. What should have been a simple fix became an uncomfortable and frustrating interaction, with no apology or accountability. The food itself is good, though quite rich, but the service and management have consistently fallen short of expectations. After spending thousands of dollars at One 10, it's disappointing to be treated this way. I can't recommend it unless the customer service improves dramatically. read more

Gave 2 stars (Could've been better) in hopes we just caught them on an off night. 6:30 reservation and the place was not close to capacity. Just four of us but the waitress said her and two others would be serving us. Great I thought. Only problem was we saw them 3 or 4 times the entire time and at the end a fourth server came for the dessert order. Getting drinks was a challenge and our staff of three was completely out of sync. They brough the same round twice. Then put both rounds on the bill. Asked for bread and was told they have an $18 bread option. Said no, but eventually house bread came out. Waitress read through the specials and when we ordered she realized she missed a page of specials on her cheat sheet. Not everyone was ready, so we tried to order apps. Nope. Order everything at once. Fine, whatever. Seafood tower was a special and included shrimp cocktail. Not all wanted the tower so I asked if I could just get shrimp cocktail. Nope. How does a steak place not have shrimp cocktail or any individual raw seafood appetizers on the regular menu? Apps come but no plates. Waited over three minutes for plates. Meatball was okay. Raviolo was okay. Bruschetta was okay. Nothing great. Finished glasses sat on the table even after we finally got a second round. Needed to ask for water to be refilled and for glasses to be removed. I ordered the 14 oz. strip special that came sliced to my surprise. Not a big deal but you should mention that. And it was barely 10 oz. One in my group ordered a veal chop and had to ask for a steak knife. Really? At a steak place? I never even got a steak knife but didn't need it. My small steak was a nice piece of meat that I could cut with my regular knife. Unfortunately, it came out on the well side of medium and I ordered medium rare. "Oh, an aristocrat." Waited forever for plates to be cleared. Waited even longer for dessert menus which server number 4 finally brought and kind of just plunked them down. When my coffee came, that was plunked down too. Not once did anyone come by our table to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. If we didn't flag them down, they weren't coming. Other tables around us seemed frustrated too. Saw what may have been a manager at a nearby table but I didn't say anything. It was too late by then. read more

This was our second time here and we really love this place. This time we experienced the prefix menu that they have from Monday through Thursday is $55 a person and you receive a three course meal. They do not play with their portions. We were full. We brought dessert home. Our servers were very nice, always welcoming, beautiful ambience and their drinks were good and they were strong For appetizers we got the fried shrimp and calamari and ribs and for dinner we had steak and I had stuffed shrimp with crab and a side of mashed potatoes and for dessert I had raspberry sorbet which was airy and light and fresh and we also had the cheesecake which was always good! read more

Decided to come here for my birthday & I am so happy that I did. When my husband and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by the hostess. We had reservations so we sat right away. It wasn't that busy & there was plenty of seating but I do recommend reservations as this place gets packed. I wish I remembered our severs name because he was so nice, funny, knowledgable, and FUNNY! He constantly made us laugh throughout the night. at first I was going to get this drink which consisted of like coconut puree but then I asked him what did he think and he recommend I try something else. I AM SO GLAD he did because my drink was on point. Of course the coconut probably was just as good (I love coconut) but I am so glad I tried something different because it was delicious and def pretty to look at!! For appetizer we got fried calamari - which was delicious!! for dinner we got the tomahawk steak for two, the pasta cheese wheel with chicken, and creamed spinach. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! After the meal: Breanna and Chelsea were partner servers, we tried the special bread appetizer rather than the Roman Toast bc it came with two pieces of homemade brioche rather than one piece of toast "it has pretty much the same thing" so I was looking forward to some bread and cheese. The plate came out and there was no cheese. The fig jam was good but the bread was crumbly and reminded me of cornbread texture. Not bad... the clams were cold but not terrible taste, nothing special either. My boyfriend got the Veal special which included a large veal chop fried, covered in vodka sauce and Burrata. He wasn't too impressed with the sauce. The Mac and cheese I heard was good so we tried - very thick not bad. I asked the server which was better between the Halibut ($42) or Lobster Bucatini ($32) she said the halibut is really good so I went with that. The halibut came out colder than luke-warm. It came with a lobster risotto which was nothing special. Steve came by to make sure we were enjoying our food. I let him know the fish was cold and within five minutes they came back with my entree which was hotter (until I got to the middle) and was "clicking" when I chewed it, kind of dry. I didn't finish it all and didn't want to mention it. Our drinks were good but for $17 each, I figured they may be a bit more generously poured. The service was great but the food unfortunately was not. The only reason we tried this place was because a family friend had a $50 off $150 purchase gift card. The picture of the receipt reflects everything before the gift card was applied. We left $250 on the table which was a bit more than 20%. We will not be back or recommend this restaurant to others. We had a great experience at One 10. Our server (I forgot her name unfortunately) was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. We tried the raviolo filled with egg yolk served over bacon. That was very rich but delicious. We also tried the mushroom croquettes which were good. After many visits for dinner, Happy Hour and having our own private events we have a very different feeling about One 10 after a disaster birthday dinner experience. Service by Donald performed like it was his first day with zero training as a waiter and could not follow simple requests. Example - Asked if I wanted another beer, I said no and 10 minutes later he served me a beer. Never checked our table again, we asked another waiter twice to get him and he still never came over. Watched him wander back and forth between the bar and tables, clearly getting drink orders wrong. He spent most of his time standing at multiple computer station. It then took so long to place to the dessert order, we have go get up and find a manager. The manager took the order and said they were on the house , clueless that we ordered the pre-set meal. Then the fun or rather disaster really began. We got the check and noticed it was not for our food. To cut a long story short, it took them SIX attempts to get the check correct, and this overall took at least 30 minutes while the whole family sat at the table waiting. We finally told the manager let us tell you what we ate as you clearly have no clue. In the end we all got up and stood near the door waiting for the final and correct check. Waiter service was the worst we have ever seen, the management were hovering around looking confused and unable to fix the issues quickly. Very unprofessional and farcical. All this made us very late for a party at home with other family who all heard about the disaster evening. The story still continues, as we got the credit card statement as was billed $60 more than the check!! currently disputed with the credit card. read more

I dined here on NYE, and was wholly underwhelmed with the experience, although I will say that the restaurant is beautiful, like Opus -- another Scotto restaurant. We were a party of eight, at 6pm, and we had two servers assigned to us. Not once did anyone come to check on us, or inquire as to whether we liked our food. The meal lasted roughly 3 hours, and that certainly wasn't because we were sitting around, leisurely dining. It was their timing ... and while I appreciate not being rushed through a meal, it was entirely too long for a meal (we didn't have dessert or coffee there). I can't say that I was a fan of the char on the steak, to be honest (my partner had the steak frites). My cocktail was awful -- I can't be certain I'm remembering the name, but I think it was Blackberry Noir. I saw the blackberry seeds, but tasted nothing but bitterness. My halibut entree was OKAY, nothing to write home about. The best thing I ate was the lobster agnolotti special -- that was tasty. However, it wasn't enough to prompt a return visit. The rest of my party were mostly equally unimpressed, and two people had their steaks prepared incorrectly, TWICE. At that point, I think my friend had them just cancel one of the steaks. I stopped paying attention, because they were across the table, and the music was a touch too loud for dinner conversation, unless we wanted to yell at each other.
