Food was really good!! The start of the show was the dessert for sure! Highly recommend!

After a not so stellar first visit, we re-visited Zuzus at the request of the owner, Jeff. Definitely a better experience, all around! Our waitress, Sam, was very sweet and attentive. Started off with the pear cider, which was delicious! We did mostly pizzas this time and the price fixe tomato mozzarella / Sunday sauce combo. This fresh mozzarella was what I was expecting / hoped for the first time around. The Sunday sauce was excellent with the tender variety of meats and the fresh pasta. Everyone loved their pizzas which seems to be the real stand out here! Happy we gave it a second chance and will be back for more pizza and to finally try the soft serve

Came for a celebratory lunch and at first I was a bit nervous, as we were the only people in the restaurant and the first glasses we were brought were blatantly dirty (I think lipstick?). However, things went more uphill from there. We started with the meatballs and the calamari. The meatballs were a hit, one of the best dishes of the day. The calamari was standard but still good. We grabbed a steak Caesar salad, which was surprisingly pretty good, and the clam pizza, which wasn't my favorite (probably my own fault though the clams were fishier than I expected for the pizza). Service was friendly, attentive (well we were the only ones there), and quick. Parking behind the restaurant was free, so that was nice.

I've been to the spot two times, both times food was great! Really enjoyed the pizza very light and thin. Service however was subpar both times. Great spot for a date night, great music and vibes. I'd go again especially on a date or some drinks with friends. They also have a kid friendly ice cream shop attached.

Zuzu is a new hidden gem in Farmingdale! My mom and I split a bunch of food here and it was all delicious, and the vibes are amazing. We also hosted my sisters bridal shower in one of their event rooms upstairs and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu

Nachos 11/10/24

11/10/24. Was pleasantly surprised with Zuzu. The bar is large, beautiful and very modern. Service was friendly by Simon. Recognized Max from their sister restaurant and he is engaging and always provides stellar service. Drinks were on point. We ordered the fried mozzarella sticks and the Italian nachos, and were pleased with both. The sticks were cheesy, and the accompanied vodka sauce (thick and creamy) was very good. The nachos were plentiful and such a great/different flavor combo. We finished with some pumpkin soft serve. Delicious.

Was craving a wood fired pizza and came upon Zuzu. Ordered the fried calamari which was perfection in terms that I'm not really a fan of the tentacles (none were served) and they were the perfect width to being crispy. The picked spiced peppers were a perfect addition and both a marinara and aioli sauce was served on the side (which I prefer). The serving was plentiful to the point that I was almost too full for the pizzas! For pizza we ordered the Diavla and Prosciutto Parma. The Diavla had a sweetness due to the honey as well as a salty bite due to the pepperoni. The Prosciutto Parma was a good offset as it was a white sauce. The slices were the thinnest I had but I mean that in a good way. Really great chewy dough. Recommend for a casual night out.

My best friend and I had the best time at Zuzu. We randomly stumbled upon this place while looking for a good, new food spot in Farmingdale. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised with Zuzu. The pizzas were delicious (I highly recommend the Pesto pizza), and the service was very accommodating and even let us make our own affogato. The 70s/disco theme throughout was phenomenal and brought in a lot of people by the end of the night. This is definitely a fun place to visit with great service and delicious food!

Went to the Autunno Wine Tasting, and was able to try several different wines, along with a buffet of different small bites, as well as some pasta. Would recommend this to anyone who's interesting in going to a wine tasting in the future. Might want to check the restaurant itself down the road.

I admit it, I love the skin! We ordered a bucket of 8 pieces, and chose mac and cheese and cole slaw. We also ordered a side of jalapeno corn bread. There's really no good news here. The chicken was so dry inside, we couldn't eat it and thrw out all 8 pieces. The mac and cheese wasn't terrible, but I've certainly had better. It too was dry, and was basically one big piece of mac and cheese. The cole slaw was..... interesting. It was an odd pinkish color (red cabbage?) with really no sauce that I could find. My hunt for great fried chicken,,,, withnthe damned skin on..... continues.

The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a restaurant in Nashville. The menu and the drink list really transport you there as well as the live music. The band was so good! I'm on a diet and the waitress was able to work with the chef to accommodate my needs. I was so impressed. I will for sure be back again. I ordered the sweet potato bowl with brisket, tomatoes and onions. I had one drink, whiskey pig bourbon, was very good. The restaurant has a fun cocktail list and a lot of bourbons. Can't wait to take my husband here

Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

Our server Jacqueline was very sweet and attentive. We had ordered a cider flight. 3 out of 6 tasted like an IPA and we asked to swap it out. They were very accommodating and swapped it without question. Our guests' Bloody Marys were strong and spicy. We tried the short rib skillet, short rib sliders, American breakfast and breakfast burrito. The short ribs were soft and tender and the garlic Parmesan potatoes were AMAZING. (My mom actually went and spoke to the event manager to make sure we could have them at my shower.) The bacon was crispy and eggs cooked perfectly. Granted, I was the designated driver so I didn't enjoy the atmosphere as much as my friends who were downing cocktails, but still worth sharing that it's not really a good place to hang out and talk.
