If you want dinner and a beautiful sunset to view this is your place. The restaurant is right on the beach. The only drawback is that you can't walk on the beach because it's private. The place is quite large with more than one level. I went where I was able to see the sunset and it was beautiful. The food was good. We ordered mussels and jumbo shrimp. The service was good. I however DID NOT like that they automatically added 20% gratuity on the bill for 2 people. This was a turnoff. The tip should be based on the service you received or for large parties

Found this place through Tik Tok because of the views. I was a bit iffy about it because I did not see the reviews until I arrived. There were a lot of complaints of the service but still decided to give it a chance because we did the drive. We picked outdoor seating. We were placed on the 2nd floor with the view of the ocean. It was definitely hot but I wanted the views. Also I love the heat! So if it bothers you, definitely pick indoor seating. Luckily there were couple of tables with shade available. There was live music playing through the night from an awesome duo. I ordered the Salmon which came with rice. Wish the salmon had more flavor, but it was still good. The staff were amazing! Always checking up on us. I would return back to try out other items.

The food here is decent but overpriced because you're paying for the private beach views & gorgeous interior. Feeling full off vibes The service is a bit confused lol we made a res but ended up waiting an hour still. For how fancy the restaurant is you'd expect more top tier service, they were still super friendly just not really efficient :')

I decided to give this restaurant a try because it is beach front and it seemed nice. I saw pictures of a burger that they have in their menu and figured that after our meal we would take pictures on the beach and then head home. I was soo wrong! - First, the restaurant does not have access to the beach, so you will see it but not be able to go anywhere near it. - second, there was no burger in the diner menu whatsoever. - third, food is gross! The flavor. The texture. The portions are super small. The price is not worth the meal at all. We ordered, - a lobster bisque soup, 3 penny size pieces of lobster over a sauce that tasted like chef Boyardee. = $15 - Fried Calamari, or should I say, fried breading in a desert plate. =$25 - Salmon with wild rice, the sides were not allowed to be changed, so we order a side of mashed potatoes to go with it. = $38 + $12 - Caught of the day, which was a filet of a fish (forgot the name) with seasonal vegetables, this was actually very good and the only thing I recommend. = $45 - Lobster Roll with French fries, montauk style. This was okay, the fries were soaked in oil and the bun tasted old and hard. The lobster itself was okay. Would not get again or recommend, especially for $45, nope! The problem: My lobster roll had a piece of the hardest part of the shell. As I bit down into my roll, I bit something that I swore cracked my tooth, as it hurt and automatically felt something very hard in my mouth. The piece of lobster shell also cut my lip on the inside of how big and sharp it was. Their resolution: - "oh we apologize, but at least you know you're getting real lobster" - from the direct manager. "Oh I'm sorry, I'll speak to my manager" from the server, then proceeded to add 20% tip to herself on the bill for a small party of 3. (BTW, the server was very nice and polite, removed the tip after we brought it up. But it was not a mistake how she tried to play it out, she knew I was upset about my hurt lip and wanted to ensure she got tipped well.)

The view is amazing from their outside seating area, the music playing in the background will make you feel like you're on a tropical island. The drinks and food are very good. All in all a nice place to eat. Enjoy !

Manager David was very welcoming. Ambiance was a deck overlooking Long Island Sound. Server Andrew answered our questions about the menu, and gave us recommendations. The food was served quickly and was beyond delicious (salmon and ocean pasta). Overall, a most excellent dining experience. Don't miss out, especially before summer ends.

This place is not very accommodating we had made reservations for a group of 22 when we arrived we were told that we had cancled the reservation ummm nope we did not after that was settled we had the second floor back area we had asked if 2 tables could be moved the manager an Asian man refused and also threatened to call the police if we moved the table our selves .eventually they moved the tables it should never have gotten to this point also the valet could have been better I was rushed out my car before I could get somethings I needed and I was asked rudely if I had reservations..But on the upside the wait staff did great with this amount of people ....5 stars for the wait staff

The view is spectacular especially if you catch the sunset. As far as the food goes it's subpar. I ordered the shrimp risotto and thought it was missing flavor. The sushi wasn't that great tasting. The drinks were good and tasty. Service was ok not great. The food is Overpriced you're just paying for the views.

We came here for dinner for my birthday and the restaurant was so beautiful! It's right on the water and the sunset was absolutely lovely to see while having dinner. Our waitress was also really nice. The food was okay, it wasn't as flavorful as I'd like and was a little pricy for what it was but the experience of eating by the water was relaxing.

Went here for my birthday and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset dinner. Once we arrived we valet our car and we were greeted by some of the sweetest staff. You can tell the inside dining area was recently renovated and it looks so beautiful now! We had to wait for our party to arrive to be seated, so we sat at the bar upstairs and ordered some drinks. I ordered a spicy Paloma and it was really good. Once my whole party arrived, we were seated outside and at a big round table with an amazing view of the beach. Food overall was good. I ordered the lobster roll and it was ok. Definitely not the best lobster roll I've ever has. Felt like the bread could have been fresher too. Overall I was happy I had my birthday dinner here. The views are totally worth it!

When I try and make an opentable reservation it asks if I want the restaurant or the high-top? What the heck is the difference.

Although there are two options of tables on OpenTable, there is actually no difference between the two. You can reserve either restaurant or high-top and a table will be reserved in the entire restaurant for you. Unfortunately due to our limited… Read more

The shishito peppers were blistered just right with great flavor and a little kick. Simple, but done well. The smash burger was the standout. Cooked perfectly with a great sear, juicy inside, and topped with melty cheese and pickles that balanced everything. Add the truffle fries and it was game over. Crispy, flavorful, and generously seasoned. The Greek salad was fresh and bright, with good quality feta and olives. A solid, refreshing balance to the heavier dishes. Service was exceptional. Attentive without hovering. The decor is warm and stylish, great energy without being too loud.

Our group of 7 had reservations for 7:00pm a couple of Fridays ago. When we arrived, we pulled up…read moreto the valet, handed him our keys, and walked in right on time. We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

My favorites of the night were the pastas and steak. We were lucky they allowed us to book a large party dinner, so my photos of the food are all "family style" servings. If Parmesan is too strong of a flavor for you, you may want to avoid the cauliflower since it is soaking in the sauce (delightful for those who enjoy it). Pastas were all handmade and interestingly shaped! My favorite was the Maltagliati, thin al dente ribbons sliding through a light flavored seafood sauce and tender succulent chunks of shrimp :) Everyone else chose the Gramigna as their favorite-- the curved thick ridged pasta reminded me of bucatini, which worked well with their ragu-like sausage sauce. The Garganelli had a long twisted penne-like shape but was not as al dente, a tad overcooked. It had a tasty vegetable-forward flavor. For entrees, the salmon was either poached or sous vide, making it very tender and moist which was a big contrast to the herb-crusted skin. That part mostly tasted burnt to me. The steak came pre-sliced, and it was tender but also had a nice chew -- perfect! The taste with the peppercorn sauce and mushrooms was really nice. Would definitely get that steak again, and I don't even like meat that much! And for dessert, the chocolate cake was a little dry even though it sat in a puddle of vanilla sauce. The crostata's green apple filling was sweet and tart, yummy! Things I think could be improved: the sizzling shrimp and salmon both had burnt/charred parts. Could be part of the charm, but it took away some of the enjoyment because it just tasted burnt. The small space was filled and busy all night, and it was a little loud as well. Their service was excellent; waiters looked polished in their white outfits and acted the part. It made for a lovely outing-- the birthday boy announced Gioia was his new favorite Italian restaurant! Definitely try this cute little spot out. I will be thinking about the pastas and the steak :D
