The fresh seafood is available for eat in, take out, or you can cook it at home. The meals are beautifully prepared and the service is friendly. It is clean and welcoming but no fancy tablecloths or China. Just delicious food across from the beach.

Seven of us after dinner, chose Valley Piano Bar because its website clearly advertises: "Thursday - It's All About Her. Thursday nights, first cocktail on us for all ladies." Refer to the snapshot here as proof to what I am saying. There were no disclaimers or fine print. Before ordering, I even asked our server to confirm the promotion, and she said yes. We stayed for about two hours, ordered appetizers, dessert and cocktails. When the bill arrived, all 7 "free" cocktails had been charged. The server told us her boss, Nico, instructed her to do so. When I questioned Nico, he first claimed the second drink was free, even though the website clearly says the first cocktail is complimentary. He then said, "Common sense, lady. You can't just come in, have a drink, and leave." That made no sense because we had ordered food not just cocktails. He followed that by saying, "People like you think you can come in, get free drinks, and leave. Don't even come back!" That comment was deeply offensive and made us feel singled out and unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, it left me questioning whether my ethnicity influenced how we were treated. This isn't about the cost of seven cocktails. It's about misleading advertising, dishonesty, and the disrespect shown by management. I had recommended Valley Piano Bar because I'd enjoyed it before, but my friends left shocked by the "boss Nico's" arrogance and unprofessional behavior. We will not be returning, and I hope ownership takes this complaint seriously. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and clarity from businesses that advertise promotions to draw people in. I will make sure all the relevant authorities are contacted. Do better!

HAD MY 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!!…read more This was only my second time here but my first visit made such an impression that I had to celebrate my big day here!! I started my party planning with a previous employee but upon getting in touch with the owner TOMMY, everything went off without a hitch!!! My host/server MICHELLE T. was truly amazing!!!!! She orchestrated my party like a pro, checked-in frequently with me, perfectly timed my chosen courses and paid careful attention to ny birthday cake and cupcakes I brought in. I loved all their party options, they truly have something for everyone. If you want afternoon, brunch or dinner times, you can literally have dozens of different selections for your entire party courses, I hope to have a future celebration here, and try even more delicious choices. Valet parking was a great plus, location is also very convenient from Queens and Suffolk counties. Defintely check them out if you're looking for a weekend brunch, romantic dinner or a family celebration.

Our group of 7 had reservations for 7:00pm a couple of Fridays ago. When we arrived, we pulled up…read moreto the valet, handed him our keys, and walked in right on time. We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

Noble Savage Brewing Company is a craft brewery that opened in Glen Cove, New York in June 2019. It…read morewas founded by brewmaster Frank Bilello. Beginning in 2014, Bilello began homebrewing out of his backyard shed. By 2016, after working as an intern at Oyster Bay Brewing, he started looking for a space to open his own brick & mortar brewery. Bilello finally acquired a circa 1928 building in downtown Glen Cove and would spend the next two years renovating it. He chose the name "Noble Savage" as a reference to his way of life: to live nobly and have a noble vision, but be savage in your actions. After running out of money, Bilello initially opened the space as a craft beer bar before he generated enough revenue to get the brew system running. Within a few years, Noble Savage became nationally acclaimed for their small-batch hazy IPAs as well as Bilello's strict commitment to using 100% New York State-grown and floor-malted grains from the Hudson Valley. I recently visited Noble Savage while I was traveling through Long Island. They have been on my list since I read about them in Hop Culture Magazine. I arrived right as they opened for the day. The taproom has sort of a rustic feel to it. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the draught menu. The staff were friendly and there seemed to be a small group of regulars stopping by for beers. Throughout my visit, I enjoyed short pours of "Unintended Consequences" (Dark Lager), "Compelling Insight" (New England IPA), "Psychedelic Hyperboost" (New England IPA), and "Vicarious Joy" (Double New England IPA). Everything was really good; I can see what all of the hype is about! Owner and brewmaster Frank Bilello was nice enough to chat with me for a few minutes, give me a tour of the brew system and even let me sample a green beer fresh from the tanks. If you're a serious craft beer drinker then keep Noble Savage on your radar!

Unfortunately, they did not have their usual amount of beer on tap...some sort of heating issue slowed them down. Looking forward to another visit when they have more selection so I can try more! They also have cider...but I was sticking to beer.

4.8 star review…read more First time visiting. I love the environment, design, bar, and white table cloths. Only small issue was the music was a little too loud - hard to hear conversations. I had the wedge salad and asked for it to be chopped. Done. Then I had Chicken Marsala. My husband and friend had salad with salmon and the roasted chicken. Overall, the food was delicious! Service attentive. I'd go back but I'd take someone with whom I didn't want to have a conversation - too loud. Haha Otherwise it would have been a 5 star review. The food and friendly service were great.

Bread baskets came out to 3 tables that arrived after us, we had completely empty water glasses and no one coming by to ask for more water. It took a long time for our food to arrive, meanwhile people who sat after us got served. There was also some confusion about which server was responsible for our table. We heard they were short a server but honestly, where was the manager? Every table suffered from a lack of service. We were down to our last bites of food when our server finally showed up to check on our meal. For the food: the salmon with the curry sauce was good, however the sauce had no sign of curry...more of a soy sauce flavor. I was disappointed as that was why I ordered it. Two of us got that. The 3rd person got the fried fish sandwich for $26 that Henry's could have done a better job. It's too bad that the man who appeared to be the manager seems to be doing nothing. Any restaurant with this kind of situation should have had a manager walking around, perhaps doing a small dessert or something that made customers feel better about the lack of service. Members of our family have been here many times but seriously rethinking coming again for a while.
