    Steak House Burger*

Great brunch spot with a cute outdoor dining area. The steak burger came with delicious crunchy onions and I ordered sweet potato fries for the table that were crispy and fantastic. Although I didn't try the drinks, they looked delicious

I stopped by "The Shed" for lunch and ordered the steak burger, a side of fries, and a hot cup of coffee. The meal was absolutely great: the steak burger was juicy and full of flavor, the fries were crispy, and the coffee was freshly brewed. To top it off, the service was wonderfully attentive and welcoming. The only minor drawback is the tight parking situation, but the outstanding food and hospitality make it well worth the effort.

We arrived at lunchtime. Our waitress was friendly and polite. Food was very good. Order arrived in a timely fashion. Gluten free bun on my hamburger was soft and fresh. I would highly recommend.

Great outdoor seating with wonderful service. The blackened fish sandwich was cooked perfectly and was a huge portion of fish. The smoked salmon biscuit eggs benedict was dry, and only 2 pieces of salmon. I'd return for the fish sandwich and maybe try a burger!

When I arrived there was a 20-25 minute wait for 2 so we sat at the bar. The server was very attentive. The ambiance was contemporary with nice are work on the walls. I ordered the Backyard Burger. It was delicious! I was hungry and ate it all! It had the perfect seasoning and toppings for an excellent taste! Shout out to the chef for a great recipe! It didn't come with fries and the server made sure I knew while I was ordering. That was thoughtful and nice. I decided to take it as is with the coleslaw and pickle. That was a great choice because the fries would have made me too full. In retrospect, the sides that came with my burger were a healthier assistance and I'm grateful for that. I recommend this place and can't wait to come back to try some more of the entrees.

I like the vibe of the shopping center and The Shed in particular - both outside and inside. Feels very cozy. Our server was very friendly, and I have to say I was not only impressed with how massive my salad was -but it was great and seemed very fresh. This seems like one of those spots with tons of fun things on the menu and I would love to come back and try more of them. The kicker is - after eating at The Shed, it's so much fun to hit up The Shop Rite!

We came on a Thursday night for a party of two. They said a 15-20 minute wait but we were seated in 5! I got the salmon on a bed of corn, peas, shallots and spinach with a honey mustard vinaigrette My friend got the shed bowl with steak and replaced goat cheese with feta cheese I absolutely love the salmon entree at The Shed because they ask how you like it cooked. I always prefer this because if it's anything over medium, it feels overcooked and dry to me. I won't get salmon anywhere else! My waiter suggested putting the sauce on the side, which I appreciated that suggestion. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp on top. The shallots in the bed of vegetables were a tiny bit undercooked, which made them a little bit onion spicy. It was a little overpowering. Overall, a great dinner!

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience or food here at the Shed. I finally tried their fish sandwich, recommended by my daughter and it was amazing!! They give 2 filets, so that sandwich was huge. I ended up taking one out and eating the other for dinner later. I have no complaints, cheers to the chef. I dine in because I was on a lunch break but I have before and it's a nice place to dine. Now that my job is closer, they may see me more ordering for lunch.

Very few places have I ever seen serve deviled eggs. I must say while these were soft and flavorful they were not ones that stand out above the rest. Though don't get me wrong the rest of the food was impressive! Steakhouse burger - cooked to the perfect temperature requested and construction of the burger executed immaculately! Not a thing was misplaced. Nothing overflowing or missing. The blue cheese was a nice thin layer giving the burger a great little funk. The house steak sauce could have been more pronounced but the crispy onion really brought it together. The bowl, surprisingly large! Great amount of all elements. Got the dressing on the side, 2 nice sized cups and was able to dress it to perfection. Value for the money is there. Flavor is there. Staff were polite and professional. Hats off to the chefs. This is my new go to. Next time trying the breakfast

Tropical Cooler & The Shed Lemonade

We were gifted a gift card to go to one of the Shed restaurants when we were living in Long Island two years ago. Back then, we couldn't take out the time to go. Since we were in the island for a friend's wedding; we decided it was the perfect time to have Brunch and use our gift card before heading home. Plainview just happens to be the closest one on our route back. They do not take reservation, but lucky for us the wait time was not long. It took us less than 10 mins to get a table. Very friendly staff, and we noticed it is a go to Sunday Brunch spot due to the line when we were done. Everything that we got was extremely delicious. Imagine... I cannot have spicy food due to my low tolerance but this wings were "worth eating them." Our sever Steph recommended my drink "The tropical Cooler" which I appreciate, since it was delicious, loved the taste of the passion fruit on this drink. The dishes are a little pricey but the quality of the food deserves it. We enjoyed our time and brunch here, and we definitely will be back in the future God willing.

First time here, the ambience and food was what drew us to eat here. The Shed is located in a new modern designed shopping plaza. The inside is clean, bright and modern with a feel good atmosphere to hang out and enjoy food. The workers were pleasant and polite. The food itself was outstanding. The waffles were probably one of the best flavored waffles I've had. Chicken was good but possibly dark meat would have been juicier. The fact they gave our table a full bottle of real maple syrup at no charge was a WIN. Great place, if we're ever back we'd come back!

The Shed is a great spot for brunch. They have one of the best French toasts. You have to get Shed sauce with everything. Lovely spot for a group and to enjoy sitting outside when it's nice out.

I made a reservation for two on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was pretty busy, but they had our table ready even though we arrived 30 minutes early. Our server was Evelyn, and she was so sweet and she helped us when we were trying to decide between two desserts and three appetizers. We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. The strawberries were not my favorite, I kind of wish that they were just fresh slices of strawberries, but to each their own. All in all, this was a super solid meal, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is quite spacious, and the single bathrooms are also pretty large.

Then, we didn't see our waitress for a long time until we finally asked the water guy to ask her to stop by. Which took a while again. We ordered more drinks. My son's soda was flat and my old fashioned tasted like it had a bite like rye vs bourbon, but I ignored it and drank it. About halfway through it changed to sweet - but so sweet it was like drinking syrup. It was never stirred so the bottom half was undrinkable. We asked for our waitress to get the check, and asked her to remove the flat soda and my old fashioned. She brought the check, nothing was removed. I explained again and asked the drinks to be removed. Next the bar manager came to our table. She explained to me how old fashioneds are made, that they're never stirred. And some people sip them, some drink them with a straw. I've drank old fashioneds for many years. They are always stirred. And never drank with a straw. But she claimed she's made these for years. Someone else came and told us she could take off the soda but not the old fashioned. I said I only drank half as they took it away. Well they won't take it off. So I asked for half my drink back if I have to pay for it. They gave me a new small drink. It was terrible. We paid the check, tipped the waitress in cash (she did nothing wrong other than being too busy). I cannot get over the bar manager speaking to me that way. We will not be back.

While I had heard great things about this restaurant, I hadn't been in yet. I'm sure glad we chose to come here. Since I'm perpetually early, I went to have a beer at the bar while waiting and had a chance to peruse the happy hour menu. Lots of good stuff here including many beers and cocktails. This menu is available until 6 pm during the week. Bartender was a doll and gave me the skinny on all her favorites for both the happy hour and regular menus. Bar seats maybe 15 people and a tv above will keep a solo flyer busy for a bit. Once my buddy arrived, we were seated in the dining room toward the back. A great space able to seat many patrons. Larger groups can easily be accommodated. Our server Zack was awesome and came by just often enough. He also did a great job spacing out our courses so as not to overload our table. We started with soup and then had one of the starts of the evening- sliced seared tuna. This was a reco from the earlier mentioned bartender and it was a super home run. So were the Bang Bang Tacos. ( another reco from our great bartender food guru.) My friend said his salmon was good but not great and I had a burger that Zack recommended. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious, this was an incredible burger and I could have taken at least half home. I didn't because it was so good and I felt stuffed when it was finished. We didn't stop there though - the dessert menu looked awesome and I wasn't going to miss it. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The hamburgers were good. The fried pickles were good, if you like those. The Parmesan fries were also popular, but not my thing. What caught my eye was the berry goat cheese salad. Mixed greens, berries, caramel pecans, goat cheese, and their red vinaigrette was excellent. I thought I'd throw some protein on there so added the steak. The steak was not very good so I ended up eating very little of it. Not quite sure what the taste was that the steak was giving off but not something to my liking. Otherwise, this is a terrific salad.
