    Spinach and artichoke dip
    Lisa T.

We went last night for dinner and thankfully had reservations. It's a small, cozy place. The menu is small but with good choices and daily specials. We started with spinach artichoke dip and it was creamy and delicious, served with crunchy pita chips. We both got the Shepherds pie special and it was also so good. The only downsides were parking tight and they should hire more servers as it was very busy. But the service is good, they're working very hard. I'm glad i found this local spot!

Short rib pasta special - A white plate contains cooked rigatoni pasta with a beef ragu sauce, garnished with chopped herbs. A poached egg is placed on top of the pasta. The dish is set on a wooden table with a menu partially visible in the background.

Went for the first time last night. The atmosphere was cute and cozy on a cold evening. We got the dip appetizer but the real treat was the deconstructed chicken pot pie and the short rib pasta special. Both perfect comfort foods. Parking was a little difficult because of the snow but we came pretty early. Plenty of options for anyone. Will definitely be back!!

First time visit here last evening. Went there early around 4:30 and was quiet. Good Happy Hour prices for drinks. Excellent staff and very personable. The bartender Rosa was knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. Very pretty place with an upscale vibe yet accessible to everyone. You'll feel comfortable blue or white collar. The food...in a word- EXCELLENT. For an app we had the Yellow Fin Tuna Tar Tar. Very, very good quality tuna which was the clincher for me to order the Pastrami Rubbed Tuna for dinner. That was excellent as well. Great whipped potatoes with scallions underneath. The side of spinach with leeks was very good as well. The wife ordered the Fried Pork Chop and it was communicated when ordering that there is a wait time as they prepare it. (approx. 1/2 hour turned out) She was getting a little "antsy" waiting but suffice to say when it arrived it was so good that she said she'd wait 3 HOURS for it. Yes, it was that outstanding. And my wife is in the business and normally doesn't give out compliments that generous... Our bartender told us it's a very popular dish there and always consistent. Highly recommended place.

    Pastrami crusted tuna

Today we found the foundry and we're so glad we did. After reading other reviews, they're not lying about the exceptional and friendly service. The place is very modern and has a nice date night appeal. There's even a cute patio that would be nice to eat aim if this weather could cooperate. We skipped on the cocktails today but they sounded great. For appetizer we got the clams oreganata. The sauce was standard but plentiful to sop up with the bread. For entrees we got the pastrami rubbed tuna and the burger. A boring burger you're probably thinking, not quite. It was smothered in cheese and sautéed onions and it was served with the nice crispy fries that you want. The bun is fluffy but not overbearing. I always think ketchup served on the side in a cute dish is a nice touch. The tuna I got cooked medium rare and it was absolutely perfect and a generous serving. The nailed getting that smoky pastrami taste. The potatoes saved the best for last. Star of the meal. They were whipped scallion potatoes. They were so velvety had a zing from the scallion. They were certainly indulgent but a great partner to the tuna. I hope it gets more attraction because it's in a random spot with not too much foot traffic but definitely make your way there for good food and service!

Went early for dinner at 6 pm. The food and service were great, but the nightclub levels of obnoxious music volume as a bit much.

We went with the all-you-can-eat option, and what impressed me most was how consistent and nonstop the service was throughout the entire meal. There were no long gaps between orders, and staff were always nearby to check in, take the next round, or bring out food quickly. It made the whole experience feel smooth and well-managed, even as the restaurant got busier. The food quality was also noticeably better compared to other locations. The crab legs were served in solid clusters rather than broken pieces, which made a big difference, especially for an all-you-can-eat setting. The sashimi was fresh, nicely cut, and consistently good with every round. Nothing felt like it dropped off in quality as the meal went on, which is usually where places tend to slip. Overall, this location really delivers on both service and consistency. Easily one of the better all-you-can-eat seafood experiences I've had, and I would definitely come back.

Overall, the food was very good and definitely worth trying. You order by checking off items on a menu, and you have 1.5 hours to enjoy your meal. Lobster is available for an additional $5. They also allow you to take leftovers home for a small fee, which is a nice option. We were seated quickly, and the service was smooth throughout. Just note that lunch ends at 3:30 PM--after that, dinner pricing applies. The ambiance is an Asian restaurant look. Not going to lie, I got full before even making it to everything I wanted to try! The only downside for me was the fried items (like the fried shrimp and fried clams), which weren't my favorite. Overall, a great spot for variety and value. I would definitely go back!

Unassuming would be the correct word, in a strip mall where years ago we must have visited for one of the original AYCE sushi places. More recently, there was a pub that had live music. You may know it as the strip with the Post Office & Bottle Values (what I picture a liquor store in the former USSR feeling like. Lee & I made the mistake of not heading East into Carle Place/Garden City for a celebratory cocktail, we attempted to try The Foundry in Hicksville, but that was incredibly short lived. Pearl Kitchen & Cocktails turned out to be a nice choice. I enjoyed a Bee's Knees, perfectly made in a Nick & Nora glass (a way to place less spirits than a coupe) and Lee enjoyed a Mezcal concoction on the rocks which he enjoyed. We had some fabulous Mussels in a white broth and the Thai Calamari with peanut dressing. Both memorable. The owners are not novice restaurateurs. I believe if this is correct, one is of KYMA and the other was somewhere that I was familiar with the bunch of names. We would return, yes..but the overall setting and vibe was true to a strip mall. Lots of parking though !

While I had heard great things about this restaurant, I hadn't been in yet. I'm sure glad we chose to come here. Since I'm perpetually early, I went to have a beer at the bar while waiting and had a chance to peruse the happy hour menu. Lots of good stuff here including many beers and cocktails. This menu is available until 6 pm during the week. Bartender was a doll and gave me the skinny on all her favorites for both the happy hour and regular menus. Bar seats maybe 15 people and a tv above will keep a solo flyer busy for a bit. Once my buddy arrived, we were seated in the dining room toward the back. A great space able to seat many patrons. Larger groups can easily be accommodated. Our server Zack was awesome and came by just often enough. He also did a great job spacing out our courses so as not to overload our table. We started with soup and then had one of the starts of the evening- sliced seared tuna. This was a reco from the earlier mentioned bartender and it was a super home run. So were the Bang Bang Tacos. ( another reco from our great bartender food guru.) My friend said his salmon was good but not great and I had a burger that Zack recommended. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious, this was an incredible burger and I could have taken at least half home. I didn't because it was so good and I felt stuffed when it was finished. We didn't stop there though - the dessert menu looked awesome and I wasn't going to miss it.
