Chicken vodka sauce Parmesan
Lynnsey O.

This restaurant is absolutely delicious. I'm not from this area, we were just stopping into this area and found this phenomenal gem. The food was INSANE!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by some friendly workers and we were seated immediately. We were given these delicious garlic knots for the table which were delicious. The fried calamari appetizer was beyond my expectations! So crunchy and flavorful. The chicken vodka sauce Parmesan was out of this world! Their vodka sauce was fantastic. The spaghetti tastes homemade as well, but I'm not sure if it is. If you're craving Italian food- I HIGHLY recommend eating here! Thank you, Butera's.

Mushroom, Roasted Pepper and Chicken Salad

I had the grilled shrimp (special) with tomatoes, mushrooms, potatoes, asparagus and escarole in oil and garlic. Very delicious sauce and veggies, but only 4&1/2 shrimps. (This is consistent with previous experiences here.) My son enjoyed their scallops over risotto, and also the octopus appetizer he split with my wife. Her dish, penne with broccoli and tomato, was fair, but filling. They have an Americanized dessert menu, so don't look for Tiramisu or Italian (ricotta) Cheese Cake. Still a good Italian restaurant in very nice neighborhood with plenty of parking. We have several equally good Italian restaurants close by in Westbury, but we went to this one in Woodbury because we had a 15% coupon. Other times, it works well to meet our friends midway, if they live further east on Long Island. My wife and I enjoy their lunch salads more than their dinners.

Large hefty portions for a great price point / expect to have leftovers for 2 days . Food is tasty and ambiance is nice . During warm weather there's a live band outdoors

I was out visiting people near Woodbury, and was really in the mood for Italian food. We decided to stop in at. Buteta's and were pleasantly surprised. the service, and the food were very good. Each dish was delicious and full of flavor. Another nice perk was that the prices were definitely cheaper than the surrounding Italian restaurants in the area and yet remained Quality food. it is a large restaurant with a good amount of seating and has a massive shared parking lot.

Seafood Linguine $34 (Mussels, shrimp, classic, calamari)

Came here with 4 other people on a Saturday at 6pm. If you do, definitely call and reserve a table. We were seated promptly as we decided to sit at the bar. Thr bar was a bit small but luckily, only 1 other patron. The ambiance was intimate, cozy with dim yellow lighting, soft music, and the football game on at the bar. It was initially busy but quieted down by 7:30 pm. The restaurant is situated inside a big parking area with lots of shops but plenty of parking. Let's get to the food! My aunt recommended this place and advised me to get the chicken meatballs. Sauce was plentiful, fresh stewed tomatoes with parmesan and burrata cheese. It was flavorful, basilly, and perfect to dip with a nice crust bread, which it came with. Oh, and when you sit down, they provide a mixture of warm breads, butter, and hummus (which was odd for an Italian spot but still good). We also had the seafood pasta in tomato sauce (good and fresh but nothing spectacular), grilled shrimp salad (fresh, citrusy and tangy), fettuccine with lump crab and scallop in Rosa sauce (I preferred this over the tomato sauce) and balsamic glazed salmon with lentils (didn't get to try). All in all, it's a great date night spot but may not be ideal for families with young children. Our server/bartender was very hospitable even though he was making drinks for everyone, regularly checked on us, refilled our drinks without being asked and was just a delight (even tried to change the channel for my 6 yo but I told him it was ok since other patrons probably wanted to watch the game.

This restaurant is my go to lunch spot with my team. We love their sandwich choices, they're all so good and it's all worth the price!

Calamari

Food was average and the service was mediocre. We ordered the calamari to share, warm scallop salad, and chicken parmesan. The calamari was good but there was a piece of a steel wool scrubber in the appetizer. We told the waiter and was told by the man by the front that it would be taken off the bill. The entrees came out a little later and this is when we started missing our waiter. The warm scallop salad was average. I felt the scallops were a bit over cooked. My husband didn't have any complaints on the chicken parmesan but we waited 30 minutes to get the check. We had to ask another waiter for the check and a refill on our water. The man by the front desk printed the check out for us. We noticed the calamari wasn't taken off when we were told by the man that it would be.

Always appointment Italian food when I'm in town. Everyone is attentive, and the lighting and decor are relaxed. Short rib is insanely good.

The food really was not good. The pasta was dense and a bit gluey. Service was fine. Ambiance is that of a nice pizza place.

I'm sure glad we chose to come here. Since I'm perpetually early, I went to have a beer at the bar while waiting and had a chance to peruse the happy hour menu. Lots of good stuff here including many beers and cocktails. This menu is available until 6 pm during the week. Bartender was a doll and gave me the skinny on all her favorites for both the happy hour and regular menus. Bar seats maybe 15 people and a tv above will keep a solo flyer busy for a bit. Once my buddy arrived, we were seated in the dining room toward the back. A great space able to seat many patrons. Larger groups can easily be accommodated. Our server Zack was awesome and came by just often enough. He also did a great job spacing out our courses so as not to overload our table. We started with soup and then had one of the starts of the evening- sliced seared tuna. This was a reco from the earlier mentioned bartender and it was a super home run. So were the Bang Bang Tacos. ( another reco from our great bartender food guru.) My friend said his salmon was good but not great and I had a burger that Zack recommended. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious, this was an incredible burger and I could have taken at least half home. I didn't because it was so good and I felt stuffed when it was finished. We didn't stop there though - the dessert menu looked awesome and I wasn't going to miss it. Coffee and snifter of Chambord matched with the cinnamon apple explosion was the "icing on the cake" Great meal and service. Will definitely come back and the sooner the better.

I ordered the built your own omelette. I said mozzarella cheese, sausages and mushrooms. When he repeated, he said cheese, sausages and mushrooms. When the order came, it was American cheese. And he just put down white bread toasts. Usually the diner waiter would ask what type of bread, coffee, milk, and size of drink. He didn't ask any of them. The drinks were amazing also. We started with the bread at the table and a delicious fresh butter; it hit the spot perfectly and was warm and with great crust. We decided to order from the price fixe menu since it was restaurant week. We both started with the New England Clam Chowder and it was perfectly seasoned and had a nice amount of clams, potato and croutons for texture. Wonderfully flavorful and it was good portion. Next we decided on the main courses, wifey chose the chicken scallopini with linguine; I chose the rigatoni bolognese - mostly because that was her second choice. We absolutely loved the food, portions were huge and flavors were absolutely top notch. We managed to get so full from off the entrees that we managed to have some leftovers for our kids to enjoy back at home. Of course we had to leave some room for desert. I didn't take a picture of it but we loved the carrot cake. If you're ever in the area, or can make it with reservations it is absolutely worth every effort to make it to this restaurant. Their fruity drinks are also great when you add jelly to them. I like their unique customized boba cups. They are very convenient and they keep the straw from tearing too big of a hole on the seal and thereby leading to spillage. I've never seen that type of cup in other bubble tea places. The staff is super friendly and quick -- even when it's busy, orders come out fast and accurate. Love that it's a local, woman-owned business adding so much joy to the community.
