We stopped in this place while shopping at the outlets. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and meatballs as appetizers. These were both very good. For main dish I got the chicken francese with a side of pasta. I was actually disappointed with how small the portion of chicken was. The pasta tasted good. We also ordered the chicken parm sandwich, which was okay. Overall, the service was decent and so was the food. I'd probably return and try other menu options. Ambiance is nice, very clean looking.
After a long day of shopping on a weeknight we decided to have dinner before we left. Parm was perfect since it was sitdown, fantastic service, great food and reasonable price. We enjoyed the pastas and meatball. The arugula salad was very fresh. I was very impressed with the sole server who was also the host, bartender and bus boy. Despite being the lone staff his service never falter and was very friendly. He worked hard.
This is my favorite parm spot because all the ones in the city (NYC) are so tiny and the space feels so freaking crammed. Not this! This one is spacious and doesn't give you claustrophobia. The food in my opinion is also better here. We always get the Italian fries, and the garlic bread. They are a must have. I honestly think whatever you get will be good. The service could be better. Had to hunt down the waitress multiple times. She was rude and just didn't like her. However other times we've went the waitresses were better than this rude one in my most recent visit. So I'm letting that pass cause the food was great. The only downside at this location is that you do not want the tap water here, get bottled water. Tap water here is nasty.
We had Nono as our server and he was great--friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food overall was very average, basic Italian diner-style. Nothing particularly stood out in terms of flavor, but it was decent for what it was. My partner and I ordered the burrata caprese ($16), deluxe garlic bread ($12), chicken parm entrée with spicy rigatoni Carbone ($22), and the penne scampi ($19). My favorite was the burrata caprese--the tomatoes were incredibly fresh, and I loved the touch of onions. I wouldn't order the garlic bread again; it was super dry and lacked flavor. The chicken parm was also disappointing--thin, dry, and the cheese on top came out cold and hardened. Between the pastas, the penne scampi was more flavorful than the spicy rigatoni carbone. This place is a solid option for large groups, as the space easily accommodates big parties. Just note that there's no waitlist--you have to wait in line in person. On the bright side, the food came out pretty quickly once we were seated.

We ordered the chicken parm rigatoni, basil pesto pasta, and a side of garlic bread. My favorite was probably the basil pesto, it was a nice balance of flavors. The garlic bread was a bit disappointing for $8. It was way too bready and we could barely taste the garlic and butter. The chicken parm was underwhelming as the chicken was dry, thin, and tough. The food here was very mediocre but the service was great. Everyone was friendly and the ambiance was very old school. Don't think I would come back for anything we ordered besides the basil pesto pasta.
I ate here after doing some shopping. I had the spicy rotini with shrimp and it was delightful. It was spicy but not too hot so I asked for extra pepper flakes. The serving was decent and I paired it with a small side salad. I had a Moscow mule which wasn't the best but it also wasn't the worse. My guest had a really nice size chicken parm with a side of spicy rotini. He enjoyed his dish as well. The waitress was awesome! Overall I enjoyed the food and ambiance. I didn't enjoy where we were sat...they put us right by where they place dishes so it was a bit noisy and disruptive but that's the only con. Next time we will request another area. Overall I give my experience a 4 out of 5.

Online we saw that they have a lunch special including an appetizer, main, and dessert for $25 so I was intrigued. When we walked in (on a Saturday), the restaurant was packed and we were told the wait for two was a "long time." However, we saw that there were a couple seats open at the bar, so we sat there instead. We didn't see the lunch special in the menu we were given so we asked and were told that it isn't available on the weekends, which was odd since online it said that it was a daily special. The bartender asked his manager though, and she said that they could offer the lunch special to us which was greatly appreciated. We started with pizza knots (3) and unlike the usual garlic knots we were used to, it wasn't very doughy and was more fried doughnut-y. For our mains, I got the rigatoni vodka and my friend ordered the chicken parm hero. Both were just alright and neither of us finished. The dessert consisted of two cannolis and weren't bad. Overall, we weren't too impressed with Parm, but it got the job done.
Very beautiful and sort of a retro diner feel on the inside , plus got say it's most neat and clean restaurant I ever seen, so I hats to them. The service honestly was kind of flat in a way, more like going through the motions and it was pretty slow to even place an order. The Fusilli Bolognese was delicious, pasta was very al-Dante and the meat sauce was rich and creamy. Never have a whole golf ball size of ricotta cheese on pasta would amp it up so much, but hey it made a creamy rich pasta even better. Though I will say for the price, portion size could been larger. The salad, one most generously dressed salad, where salad dressing was not skimped on, but could use more salad, than cherry tomatoes and olives, since it had so much salad topping, it was closer to pasta salad, than a green salad. Great meal despite missteps.

I waited probably 40 something minutes only for them to deliver smelly salmon that was overcooked. I don't want to be forced to try the food. It came with the pasta, but why is my waitress forcing me to try food that obviously isn't fresh!? I spoke with another friend and her daughter. They had dinner there. Mentioned the same issues: long wait times for their food to arrive. Nothing too complicated for the kitchen to make, but she got sick from the food! Avoid this place! Super slow with food that is not fresh.
Nice place, no idea why so many bad reviews, but definitely didn't have a bad experience here. We came early, shortly after opening and they were a few people already seated. The hostess sat us right away and our waitress was very attentive. We got the garlic bread deluxe, this is a must have. It's not crispy but filled with flavor and the sauce and ricotta for making a nice spread. 5/5. The spicy rigatoni lives up to the hype too. It taste just like the Carbone sauce from the jar which is delicious.

Swung by before shopping in the outlet for lunch. It was busy but the gentleman at the front recommended us sit at the bar which we did. The folks working behind the bar were friendly and quick. We ordered the chicken parm and shrimp scampi which were recommended to us by a friend. Both were good overall. We were quite hungry which probably helped as well. Cute spot with a retro vibe and design which I enjoyed. Pretty good spot to grab a bite before during or after shopping. read more

Since the original location of Parm opened in New York City's Little Italy in 2011, the restaurant's takes on Italian-American soul food have reached iconic status. From the prized Chicken Parm to the homemade meatballs to the Rigatoni Carbone, the menu is inspired by the cooking Michelin-Starred chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi ate growing up. The goal is to make the best versions of these recognizable dishes while remaining faithful to their history and to serve them in a fun, familial environment, and of course at a reasonable price. The decor is beautiful, the food was alright with a lot Of unfortunate mishaps. We ordered a salad , meatballs, and a main; all came out at the same time which threw off our entire dinner vibe. Then we found out the meatballs were cold in the center, majority of the salad were wilted, and our main platter was incorrect. The head chef did apologize for the errors and displayed great empathy and customer focus. We really appreciated that. Unfortunately we won't be dining back here when we're back at the outlets. read more

Woodbury Commons has become one of our favorite places to shop. We were there on a Friday afternoon, a couple of weeks before Christmas, and looking for a place for lunch. We stopped in at Parm and it was with mixed results. On the positive side, the garlic bread appetizer was fantastic. One of the best garlic breads I've ever had. I ordered the chicken parmigiana platter with rotini pasta, which was also very good. We also enjoyed the glasses of wine and sangria with the meal. On the not so good side, my wife's eggplant parmigiana was only lukewarm. Not that big of a deal, since they can heat it up. The side salad was pretty plain. The part that annoyed me most was that the cost of the sangria charged on the bill was higher than the menu. When I brought it to our server's attention, he said the price on the bill was accurate. It wasn't worth arguing the couple of dollars, but I did find that wrong. If you're dining at Parm, enjoy the food, just check the bill to make sure it's accurate. read more

The commons is close to home, so I've naturally been dying to dine here for a min - especially knowing it's a sister restaurant to Carbone. The restaurant exterior and interior is aesthetic, but we did not love our food. We were sadly underwhelmed. Our server was nice, but the food was lacking flavor. Would definitely go back for drinks, but not to eat. read more

I would've gave it 1 star if it wasn't for your host. She's nice. It's a fast food Italian food with restaurant price. That's how I describe the food and experience. Tasted like microwave boxed lunch pasta but $$$. Sorry. If you want to be called restaurant and charge people money, please improve your food. The mozzarella cheese is like plastic. Italian Bistro, shopping @?Woodbury Common & ran into this spot. Friendly, staff everyone was so pleasant. I had to wait a few minutes & sat @ bar tables. It's an open inviting space, fresh air, clean. I'm allergic to everything but the place smelled inviting. If I smell bad odors in a restaurant, I can't eat there. I was happy with this place. Nice mix of people, some locals & the rest were tourists from NYC & other countries. I like that it's a place for everyone. Now, about the food . I got the Meatball Parm, it was fresh & meat cooked rare but tasty the bread was a little dry not to my liking & a Pinot Grigio. Maybe, they could use a sourdough bread instead. Other than that I enjoyed my meal. I recommend everyone to try this spot instead of the regular burger joint you eat everyday. Wanted to check out Parm while shopping at the outlets and was definitely impressed. We had to wait around 20-30mins for a table because of the holiday crowd. The food was so good. We ordered the chicken parm, rigatoni pasta and the zucchini chips. Everything was really good and I would definitely come back again if in the area. Only complaint was that the cups and plates look unclean. read more

Had a chicken and eggplant parm and yes they were amazing. A bit on the smaller end of the prices but very worth it. The balance of ingredients was spot on. Service at this location needs some improvement. It did not appear to e very busy during the lunch hours, yet the waitress didn't once check in or deliver the food. She took the order and then got the check. That's it. She was kind but just felt like we had to wait around a bit. The ambiance was clean and refreshing. My husband described it as hollywood vibes. Really solid option for a shopping break meal. Parm is one of the nicer looking eateries at Woodbury Commons. Service was pretty good but does have a little room for more attentiveness. Some of our pasta seemed to be sitting for a while between the kitchen playing it and the waiter picking it up which affected the temperature. The rigatoni was delicious and indistinguishable from Carbone's at a fraction of the price. The Parma salad (basically a Caesar) was amazing with fresh gem lettuce, buttery croutons, and a homemade tasting dressing. The zucchini chips had perfect texture. The chicken parmigiana was tender and juicy - they let us swap out the rotini for rigatoni so for just $22 we got chicken parm and the famous rigatoni. The pesto rotini was just ok. Skip the gimmicky buffalo cucumber too. Overall very solid meal especially for a shopping break - I can see coming back for the rigatoni and salad alone. read more

Stopped into parm while visiting the mall, super convenient! We had the chicken parm, ceasar, and spicy vodka rigatoni. It was good but quite salty, chicken parm was our favorite of the dishes. The nyc location is better quality but this is still a great option if visiting the mall. read more
