    $27 SUNDAY SALAD

Cesar, the manager, went above and beyond to make things right. The food was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend Parm!

    Burrata Capreses $16
    Melissa T.

We had Nono as our server and he was great--friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food overall was very average, basic Italian diner-style. Nothing particularly stood out in terms of flavor, but it was decent for what it was. My partner and I ordered the burrata caprese ($16), deluxe garlic bread ($12), chicken parm entrée with spicy rigatoni Carbone ($22), and the penne scampi ($19). My favorite was the burrata caprese--the tomatoes were incredibly fresh, and I loved the touch of onions. I wouldn't order the garlic bread again; it was super dry and lacked flavor. The chicken parm was also disappointing--thin, dry, and the cheese on top came out cold and hardened. Between the pastas, the penne scampi was more flavorful than the spicy rigatoni carbone. This place is a solid option for large groups, as the space easily accommodates big parties. Just note that there's no waitlist--you have to wait in line in person. On the bright side, the food came out pretty quickly once we were seated.

Spicy Rotini with shrimp and a side salad

I ate here after doing some shopping. I had the spicy rotini with shrimp and it was delightful. It was spicy but not too hot so I asked for extra pepper flakes. The serving was decent and I paired it with a small side salad. I had a Moscow mule which wasn't the best but it also wasn't the worse. My guest had a really nice size chicken parm with a side of spicy rotini. He enjoyed his dish as well. The waitress was awesome! Overall I enjoyed the food and ambiance. I didn't enjoy where we were sat...they put us right by where they place dishes so it was a bit noisy and disruptive but that's the only con. Next time we will request another area. Overall I give my experience a 4 out of 5.

With not that many options for food aside from fast food, We thought we would stop by here for some pasta. It's advertised as a Carbone sister store which was intriguing. We ordered the chicken parm rigatoni, basil pesto pasta, and a side of garlic bread. My favorite was probably the basil pesto, it was a nice balance of flavors. The garlic bread was a bit disappointing for $8. It was way too bready and we could barely taste the garlic and butter. The chicken parm was underwhelming as the chicken was dry, thin, and tough. The food here was very mediocre but the service was great. Everyone was friendly and the ambiance was very old school. Don't think I would come back for anything we ordered besides the basil pesto pasta.

We decided to eat here after shopping at Woodbury Commons and had a great meal! We thankfully sat down just before the lunchtime rush, but as we were leaving the restaurant filled up. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, she gave us a few recommendations that we really enjoyed. The pizzas knots were my favorite menu item we ordered; like garlic knots but better! The pizza spice gave them so much flavor. We also tried the Caesar salad (solid) and the chicken parm platter. The chicken was tender and perfectly crispy, and we loved the rigatoni carbone (their signature dish). I'll be back next time I'm in the area to shop!

Really enjoyed my experience and meal here!! Those crispy zucchini were amazing with the crispy garlic and the dipping sauces. The pasta was al dente and the fresh mozzarella melted to perfection on the chicken parm. Huge portions for great prices. The server was friendly and attentive. Will return!

pizza knots, rigatoni vodka, chicken parm hero

My friend and I were looking for a bite to eat to fuel our shopping adventures at Woodbury and we stumbled upon Parm. Online we saw that they have a lunch special including an appetizer, main, and dessert for $25 so I was intrigued. When we walked in (on a Saturday), the restaurant was packed and we were told the wait for two was a "long time." However, we saw that there were a couple seats open at the bar, so we sat there instead. We didn't see the lunch special in the menu we were given so we asked and were told that it isn't available on the weekends, which was odd since online it said that it was a daily special. The bartender asked his manager though, and she said that they could offer the lunch special to us which was greatly appreciated. We started with pizza knots (3) and unlike the usual garlic knots we were used to, it wasn't very doughy and was more fried doughnut-y. For our mains, I got the rigatoni vodka and my friend ordered the chicken parm hero. Both were just alright and neither of us finished. The dessert consisted of two cannolis and weren't bad. Overall, we weren't too impressed with Parm, but it got the job done.

    Fusilli Bolognese
    Darren G.

Very beautiful and sort of a retro diner feel on the inside , plus got say it's most neat and clean restaurant I ever seen, so I hats to them. The service honestly was kind of flat in a way, more like going through the motions and it was pretty slow to even place an order. The Fusilli Bolognese was delicious, pasta was very al-Dante and the meat sauce was rich and creamy. Never have a whole golf ball size of ricotta cheese on pasta would amp it up so much, but hey it made a creamy rich pasta even better. Though I will say for the price, portion size could been larger. The salad, one most generously dressed salad, where salad dressing was not skimped on, but could use more salad, than cherry tomatoes and olives, since it had so much salad topping, it was closer to pasta salad, than a green salad. Great meal despite missteps.

There were hardly any customers in the restaurant. It was a weekday night. I ordered before a table before me but they got their drinks and food before me. I waited probably 40 something minutes only for them to deliver smelly salmon that was overcooked. I don't want to be forced to try the food. It came with the pasta, but why is my waitress forcing me to try food that obviously isn't fresh!? I spoke with another friend and her daughter. They had dinner there. Mentioned the same issues: long wait times for their food to arrive. Nothing too complicated for the kitchen to make, but she got sick from the food! Avoid this place! Super slow with food that is not fresh.

Nice place, no idea why so many bad reviews, but definitely didn't have a bad experience here. We came early, shortly after opening and they were a few people already seated. The hostess sat us right away and our waitress was very attentive. We got the garlic bread deluxe, this is a must have. It's not crispy but filled with flavor and the sauce and ricotta for making a nice spread. 5/5. The spicy rigatoni lives up to the hype too. It taste just like the Carbone sauce from the jar which is delicious.

    PENNE SCAMPI

Always amazing food, drinks, and service! Music sets such a happy mood and a perfect place to take a break from shopping especially in this cold weather.

The commons is close to home, so I've naturally been dying to dine here for a min - especially knowing it's a sister restaurant to Carbone. The restaurant exterior and interior is aesthetic, but we did not love our food. We were sadly underwhelmed. Our server was nice, but the food was lacking flavor. Would definitely go back for drinks, but not to eat.

I don't think I've tried polenta…read morebefore but the best way to describe it is it's like a corn meal porridge, similar to grits but slightly sweeter. You can have it plain or with add-ons, sweet or savory. I prefer this over grits. I chose to have it with gorgonzola cheese because I live the tanginess and creaminess of the cheese. It came in a styrofoam container with the cheese cut in rectangular strips. You then have to mix the cheese into the polenta. The texture was nice and creamy with a bit of the grain from the corn. We paired it with an Italian fruit juice drink called Unico, which had a mixture of grape juice, apple juice, peach and pear puree. To me it tasted similar to prune juice. So if you like that you'll love this. I thought it was nice. It was a great snack to break up your day off shopping and walking around. It's also different and nice to have as an option compared to your typical mall food that you will find in the food court. Ben, the GM was there promoting the place. He and his staff were very nice and helpful. He even gave us a frequent flyer Card. Buy 10 get the next one free.

The star (on a billing with not much else) was the polenta, made on site, mixed with a couple of choices of sausage, tomato sauce, and cheeses. Polenta is Italian grits. It's creamy with some grainy texture. The truck offers corn and whole wheat varieties, to which you can add (or not add) other ingredients. The truck also offers a few different Italian beverages. We tried whole wheat and corn polenta with and without tomato sauce, sausage, or cheese. Each combination was very good. The proprietor was very friendly. The polenta was piping hot and the drinks were ice cold. It was a pleasant al fresco taste of Italy.

If you want your pasta sauce to stick to the pasta then putting olive oil on it is not the way to go 3. If i had wanted that i would have asked. Waiter did not ask and took it upon himself to do it. Another flaw is the owner. Very nice man but talks a lot while you dine. Customer service is appreciated greatly but while i'm trying to eat it would be nice to keep the conversation to my guest and I. The straw that broke the camels back was when i had ordered a pizza for delivery. I got my pizza and when i opened the box a german cockroach crawled out from under the pie. I do know that most places have some kind of roaches so this was not something that would stop me from going there although I think a further inspection of delivery items would be nice.
