Anna Pizza & Wine is a standout neighborhood spot tucked into a cozy shopping center in Woodbury, just steps from the Cold Spring Harbor train station. From the moment you walk in, the space feels cool and chic without being pretentious. It's warm, welcoming, and effortlessly stylish. The service is genuinely great: attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced, whether you're settling in for a full dinner or just stopping by for a drink and dessert. We started with the lemon parm butter ravioli, which was rich yet bright, balanced by a fresh citrus note that kept it from feeling heavy. The broccolini with lemon, Grana Padano, and chili oil was a sleeper hit tender, vibrant, and layered with just enough heat to keep things interesting. The pizzas were the real stars. The Margherita was everything you want it to be: clean tomato flavor, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, and a light hand with Parmigiano that let each ingredient shine. The spinach, mozzarella, provolone, garlic, and chili pizza delivered deeper savory notes with a subtle kick, while the maitake and shiitake mushroom pizza with mozzarella, onion, and Parmigiano was earthy, comforting, and incredibly well-balanced--proof that simple combinations done right can be exceptional. Dessert sealed the deal. Both affogatos were excellent--the maple walnut ice cream version was cozy and indulgent, while the mascarpone ice cream offered a more delicate, creamy contrast to the espresso. The chocolate budino was deeply chocolatey and luxurious; honestly, it didn't even need the espresso cream (definitely get it on the side if you're curious). Anna Pizza & Wine works on so many levels. It's perfect for a family night out and clearly baby- and kid-friendly, yet equally ideal for a business meal since the music stays at a comfortable level that actually allows conversation. It's also a great stop if you're hopping off the train and want a relaxed sit-down for a drink and dessert without committing to a full meal. The space itself feels like it would be incredible for a private event i'd be very interested to see if the entire place can be rented out, because it would make a fantastic party venue. In short: - Great food and service - Cool vibe make it a great for date night or a business meeting - Local spot with a local feel - Family friendly

I have not had brick oven pizza perfected like this since eating at the OG Grimaldi's now named Juliana's in Brooklyn Heights. There's something about the crust that fluffs up with air, chewiness, and mild saltiness that makes it so hard to put down. I can honestly say I have had a lot of brick oven pizza since then and Anna's is the first one to replicate that, and to our delight it is located in LI! Open for about 3 months, there is a charming and clean dining area with open kitchen. Menu is very simple. Pizzas come only in 12" so the two of us were able to polish off two of them. The pizzas are really fantastic. Like I said before, this is hands down the best crust I've had in LI and most of NY. The sauce is solid. Not overpowering. The timing is perfection. The pistachio gelato is my go-to flavor. Recently went to Florence and all I ordered was pistachio gelato. Anna's gelato holds their own. We also got an appetizer of broccolini that was roasted in the oven. Very nice texture without making it overly oily nor salty. We are excited to go back!

We had a very nice experience at Anna in Woodbury. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We got the meatball appetizer to start which was great. Margarita pizza was so good. I like a crispy crust which this was and the sauce was excellent. Calzone had a crunchy outside and just enough cheese on the inside. I will definitely return.

The margarita pizza was very good, then we had the calzone that was unbelievable with a Caesar salad which we enjoyed immensely. Angela was our server she was also excellent great personality and very helpful with my girl who asked a million questions. Loved the ambiance perfect lighting not to bright nor was it to dark. We will definitely be back A+

Excellent all around. A lovely couple serving top notch pizza and more! The clam pie is to die for. We also had the shrimp & ravioli which were also outstanding. Awesome gelato. We will be back very soon!

While I had heard great things about this restaurant, I hadn't been in yet. I'm sure glad we chose to come here. Since I'm perpetually early, I went to have a beer at the bar while waiting and had a chance to peruse the happy hour menu. Lots of good stuff here including many beers and cocktails. This menu is available until 6 pm during the week. Bartender was a doll and gave me the skinny on all her favorites for both the happy hour and regular menus. Bar seats maybe 15 people and a tv above will keep a solo flyer busy for a bit. Once my buddy arrived, we were seated in the dining room toward the back. A great space able to seat many patrons. Larger groups can easily be accommodated. Our server Zack was awesome and came by just often enough. He also did a great job spacing out our courses so as not to overload our table. We started with soup and then had one of the starts of the evening- sliced seared tuna. This was a reco from the earlier mentioned bartender and it was a super home run. So were the Bang Bang Tacos. ( another reco from our great bartender food guru.) My friend said his salmon was good but not great and I had a burger that Zack recommended. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious, this was an incredible burger and I could have taken at least half home. I didn't because it was so good and I felt stuffed when it was finished. We didn't stop there though - the dessert menu looked awesome and I wasn't going to miss it. Coffee and snifter of Chambord matched with the cinnamon apple explosion was the "icing on the cake" Great meal and service. Will definitely come back and the sooner the better.

Portions are generous and the best dish of the night was the Dancing Shrimp appetizer (fried shrimp wrapped in kataifi). Overall, wouldn't mind coming back here if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to visit. One of the best features of the restaurant is the ambiance accompanied by good service. Bar is lively on weekends, and the dining area is spacious for table parties of 4-6.

The drinks were amazing also. We started with the bread at the table and a delicious fresh butter; it hit the spot perfectly and was warm and with great crust. We decided to order from the price fixe menu since it was restaurant week. We both started with the New England Clam Chowder and it was perfectly seasoned and had a nice amount of clams, potato and croutons for texture. Wonderfully flavorful and it was good portion. Next we decided on the main courses, wifey chose the chicken scallopini with linguine; I chose the rigatoni bolognese - mostly because that was her second choice. We absolutely loved the food, portions were huge and flavors were absolutely top notch. We managed to get so full from off the entrees that we managed to have some leftovers for our kids to enjoy back at home. Of course we had to leave some room for desert. I didn't take a picture of it but we loved the carrot cake. If you're ever in the area, or can make it with reservations it is absolutely worth every effort to make it to this restaurant. Food was amazing, service was spectacular and the ambiance is chic and pleasant.

This will be applied to your meal, so technically you don't have to pay extra for the igloo like the ones in the city if you order enough. The service was good too. We don't have to leave the igloo at all to ask for service. However the food wasn't that great. The Caesar salad (including the wrap) was so salty! The beef on the sandwich was so dry. The burger and the mac and cheese were okay. So if next year the menu is the same, we probably won't return.

My boyfriend had the sauvignon blanc, which he enjoyed as well! He did say he liked my rose a little bit better. For our appetizer we shared the Char Grilled Oysters. These were phenomenal! I'm still thinking about them now as I write this review! I wish there was more than 5. My boyfriend was nice and let me have the extra one! For our entrees, we each had a different Benedict. We were glad we ended up sitting on that side. Warm complimentary bread and butter came out almost immediately, which is always a nice touch. I was so hungry that I started eating before remembering to snap a photo. We shared the seafood salad appetizer to start. While it was fresh, the portion could have included more seafood, as the avocado slightly overpowered the balance of the dish. For my entree, I ordered the Fresh Soft Shell Crabs Luciano and really enjoyed it. The egg-battered, pan-fried soft shell crabs were flavorful, and the garlic, lemon, white wine sauce paired really well with the capellini. It was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. Hubby ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, though it did not particularly impress him. He found the chicken was not as tender as versions he has had elsewhere and mentioned he needed to use a knife to cut it. At some of his favorite restaurants, he said the chicken is usually tender enough that it can almost be cut with just a fork. Service throughout the evening was very good. Our server, Maria, was attentive and courteous, and the bussing staff was also friendly and efficient. While not every dish completely wowed us, we still had an enjoyable dinner and appreciated the warm, attentive service overall.
