This place was quite interesting. I came here on a Sunday afternoon with two friends to watch some football games and snack on some stuff. The food itself was mediocre at best. We ordered nachos and mozzarella sticks, the latter being less than subpar. I will say so that the service was great and attentive. That being said, it is a sports bar more so than a restaurant, so you're getting what you pay for. For what it is, it's ok but I'm not going to go out of my way to go here again. read more

You can't trust a business that dosent stick to their word. My family of 7 wanted to watch the Love Island series that was announced all over social media. We LOVED coming here for the themed events that they did all month long & we gave them hefty business hence it was 7 individuals, not once were ID's ASKED and all of a sudden this one time we weren't allowed to dine here with 3 21+ yrs olds & 4 18+ year olds. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE and keep the same fucking energy all year round not just whenever you feel like it. I love a good local-style bar that's near my hotel. Lots of beers and the food was great! I wanted wings and beer and football, and I got all three- plus great ambiance and great service! I sat at the bar and perused the beer list, The bartender let me taste a couple, and I then ordered a cold and tasty beer and checked out the menu, but I already knew what I wanted- Nachos and Wings. False advertising. If you have something on the menu or on advertising display stands, the associates should be aware of the product they are selling and how it comes prepared. To have your most experienced bartender posing as a manager instead of calling the real manager to fix the issue is bad representation for the company. Never corrected the issue just implied not to tip and point out a drink that wasn't add. First time here && I love it. Their wings are huge && definitely worth the price!! It was 20 wings for $25 grilled and 20 wings for $23 if fried. && I love that they had the option for grilled wings instead of fried. Only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because my wings were fairly burnt as you can see in the picture. Some of them were completely back so next time I would just remind them. && the DJ was so good with mixing the music and a lot of throwbacks. Shared parking lot so go early to secure a spot, otherwise park around the corner. My buddy and I came here for lunch. Service is top notch, but on a Friday there was only one server there tending the bar and tables. We ordered the Chicken club and Buffalo chicken wrap, both served with sweet potato fries. My chicken club was ok, nothing really stood out in the taste department. The coleslaw was bland and the sweet potato fries were warm and on the soggier side as if they sat on the warmer too long. As the crowd started to pile in by 1230pm the other server showed up to relieve the workload from the first one. They could have probably done a better job in scheduling people in to handle the crowds. Notable things to be aware of: 1. 5% cash back on your credit card if you activate your check in and credit card on yelp. 2. Free beer with Yelp check in and food purchase. 3. Get 5% off total bill if paying in cash 4. Daily specials The interior and mens restroom is looking rundown and could use a overhaul. Came here with some friends to watch a basketball game. Unfortunately for me the game started after happy hour and there were no game specials going on, but i stayed and ordered anyway. Pricing wasn't bad at all ,with a glass of champagne costing 8$ and an order of wings about 16$. I didn't fully enjoy the wings, they were too far on the crispy side, almost as if they were over cooked ,flavor was nice though. What they did have that I thoroughly enjoyed were the fried avocado. It needed another dipping sauce besides the ranch that it came with but they were so good ,even when you reheat them the next day (in the oven of course). There was a security guard at the door who was pleasant and helpful, plus our waitress was friendly and quick with the service. def no complaints there. The bar itself gives me regular bar vibes, with a bar area and then an area with tables and TV's of different sizes. All showing different things. There were a few different games playing that night so once the games got started that pretty much became the focus and vibe of the bar. They have outdoor dining as well , in the front taking up a few parking spaces. I have been to Canz countless numbers of times for Wednesday night karaoke currently with Jay. I love it there. I love the atmosphere, it's loud so be prepared but it's also a lot of fun. I just love karaoke in general so I almost always have fun visiting an LI karaoke spot and seeing some of the KJs I've come to know. I don't drink alcohol anymore and hopefully never will again. I've been sober and in AA for 3 years now so when I visit a bar for karaoke I do my best to get food to support the bar in this way since I don't drink. At Canz I've had quesadillas (which have been alright), since I like sweets a lot even though I really should try changing the way I eat and going back to being a little healthy again, my favorites are the brownie sundae and the fried Oreos. The avocado wedges are so delicious like a fried creaminess going down your throat. I've had the fries there too since many times I need to watch my money I go with the fries for food because they are usually one of the cheapest things on the menu and even though I can pack the food away many times fries are also a decent portion size of what you really should have. Canz Bar and Grill has some great appetizers, We ordered their Mac & Cheese Balls which were huge! They were nicely coated in breadcrumbs making them crispy and golden brown. The Mac & Cheese itself in the inside was creamy and savory, with a strong cheese flavor, of course! They also gave an extra side of more cheese. Overall the balls were crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. We also got their Loaded Hand Cut Friez with ranch dressing, bacon bitz & cheddar jack cheese. The fries tasted wonderful! The Jack cheese was nicely melted on top coating every fry and the bacon bitz give them a nice crunch with it. Then you get that ranch dressing to get that creamy combination. read more

While the ambience was fine and the food was good. The service left much to be desired. We had a group of 7 people who needed itemized receipts to submit for work travel and the server claimed she could not split the bill more than 2 ways and did not advise of this until then end of our meal. She also added the 18% gratuity to our bill which is supposed to apply for groups of 8+. She looked like she hated her life...very sad. I come every other month, and I do very much like it. They have fair prices, and a good level of quality of their food. Their service can be hit or miss depending on how busy they get in that 5-7 hour when they have happy hour, but for the most part its ok. On this recent visit I ordered the french dip which was served to me without the horseradish sauce. I was not told there was no sauce in the restaurant. A dining room support (mgr?) offered me regular horse radish which I agreed to, but he came back and said they didn't have that either. I travel for a living, and get fussy about wanting what I ordered. I would have ordered something else had I been told. I'm going to give this place a break for awhile. read more

Huge shout out to my Monday bartender at CANZ in Bohemia, Nathalie, same professionalism, personality, service and attention even in the busier setting. I don't know if she is a manager, but leadership reflects attitude and performance where I come from! The atmosphere all the workers bring is a culture that you can literally throw parties in any capacity, bday parties, corp happy hours, Sunday football or just family dinner. Highly recommend the grilled wings. Similar to a good stadium not a bad seat in the house so no rushing to get there. Huge shout is the men at the top Paul, Mike, & their right hand man Pat. Interesting place. The manager who was a cross between Mickey Rourke and Randy /Savage was classic. He was at lease all over and helping out but a little nutty. You can tell this is a local dive bar where the locals are taken care of. Waitresses are cool, but the food is just OK. Maybe I should've ordered the tater tots because they came hot. The fries were ice cold. We all had burgers, and two out of the three were kind of cold. But it's a sports bar and really the TVs were the highlight of the place. read more

I had my doubts about this spot. 3 stars is always a toss up. If you haven't been here lately, maybe give it a second chance. First of all, L did an excellent job serving. Every time she walked by my table, she took a glance to acknowledge my presence. She did not speak every time, but she checked to see if my food or beer was running low. This is a small thing great servers do. Also, they have bus boys keeping the clutter off the table. Kudos to the management for recognizing the servers need help on a busy football Saturday. Secondly, I am likely the only Razorback fan in the bar, if not a mile radius. I asked a server to swap a tv to the Hogs b-ball game. A manager was there in less than 5 minutes, and changed the tv on the middle of an NFL postseason game. That is unheard of. Third, the food was great. I had boneless wings and pretzel bites in house. I took honey bbq wings, teriyaki wings, and tater tots back to the hotel. Small misstep: no ketchup in the to go bag (I didn't ask ‍) and the teriyaki wings were a little salty. "Canz" had the potential to get nominated for my coveted six stars, but the service was subpar at best. My brother suggested we go and who am I to argue about getting a burger. The parking lot was empty, but they're expecting a big crowd later for the Mayweather fight. We came in and they said sit anywhere. I sat down and someone my brother knew worked at " Canz"so she stoped over to talk. She recommended some items and we decided to take the wings and mac & cheese to start. It went down hill with service. The waitress wasn't around enough. When she finally came to drop off the wings I wanted to walk out. That is until I tried the wings. Those wings were alive in my mouth. The texture and flavor was perfect. Only negative was they gave you one small blue cheese container. 10 wings with a little blue cheese? Think about that for a minute before you continue reading on...... The mac & cheese balls were next. When I say perfection, those things were amazing! If you could remember the best plate of mac & cheese you had as a child and times that by 10, that was these balls. They were arguably the best appetizer on the menu. All bad service was forgiven because of this mac. But that doesn't excuse the lack of attention our table got. We asked for refills and she only came to grab and go. Next the burgers came out, yeah, that's what I came for remember? That burger was incredible! I mean it was delicious. The bacon, crunchy, the onions, Caramelized,and the cheese, well there was plenty. I have no issue with that burger. I can't believe how much I enjoyed my food. This is a fun place to go to. I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed myself. The service is great, and there's an overall great vibe. I don't eat red meat or pork, so I can't speak for their burgers or anything, but I'm a big fan of their chicken melt. It's a grilled chicken sandwich that comes with american cheese and sauteed mushrooms and onions. Really good. Their fries are great, too, as well as their portion sizes.
