This is a quintessential neighborhood bar. Drinks are reasonably prices and the people are friendly. Natalie was behind the bar and has such a nice attitude. She looks like she is 16, but don't let her young appearance fool you. The owner Charlie is an amazing guy. You may catch him there a lot and he is so friendly. We essential had guiness and casamigos tequila. The movie is during the real age...70's and 80's which was a nice twist. This is a place to definitely return to. Great neighborhood bar. Their food is really good. My husband and I have had a few quick date nights here (once after we one a neighborhood raffle and got 2 gift certificates to here). Last time I was here I had the French onion soup, calamari, mozzarella sticks and the steak. Everything was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. My husband got the steak sandwich and that was really good as well. Drinks are always great, bartenders are super sweet. There's a pool table in the back and also a black jack machine which my husband and I had a lot of fun playing. They have a live band play on certain nights and we usually leave before then because it does tend to get very loud and hard to have a conversation. read more

This is a really sketchy dark dive bar, probably with some sketchy people in it.. but... I EFFIN LOVE THEIR JAMAICAN WINGS!!! I am disappointed this place doesn't carry apple cider (they had something called magmar.. tasted too much like beer [I hate beer]). They have twisted tea though for alcohol noobs like me. Sheehan's is now under new management and is newly renovated. Last Saturday night they had a crowd at the bar watching sports and a crowd at the tables listening to a great classic rock band. Everyone had fun. I loved the burger, big and flavorful. I'll be back. read more

Standard local dive bar complete with sticky floors and kinda weird smell about the place. Drinks are pretty cheap. They have food but I didn't try anything. They have TVs with local sporting events on and have karaoke nights. I would up there during one of them and surprisingly everyone who got up to sing was pretty good. I think they also have local bands come in and play once in awhile too. Overall not really somewhere I'd come back to, the dive bar thing isn't my scene. Also, parking is street parking only. I was here on a weeknight and had to park across the street and around the block. I'm sure on weekends finding parking isn't the easiest. read more

This tends to be an old man bar in the afternoons with a younger crowd at night. The bartenders are nice enough and the service is generally quick. There is no decor save a few shamrocks painted on the bar. The whole place needs some brightening up and a good feather-dusting. A pool table, foosball table, and dartboard occupy a large part of the bar area. They have a d.j. booth, but I've never seen it in use probably because this isn't the sort of place I'd go on the weekend. They do karaoke on a weekday, but interest in this has waned. Two stars for this place because it is a local joint and delivers pretty much what you would expect. They could probably lure in more customers if they had a happy hour and drink specials. read more

This place is pretty chill. Love the wings, ordered two plates of them to satisfy my cravings. Bar maid left much to be desired in terms of her attitude. Beer was good and came by the pitcher. Your local dive bar. When C and I went there, a band of men in their 70s were playing country/folk music on stage. The only other people there (aside from a group of 5) were their wives/lady friends. I kind of worried that maybe one of them would pass out on stage and ring. :( Definitely not my choice of music. Other than that, it's just a typical bar and stool and wooden tables place. I like this place. Low key Irish pub/public house. Mostly locals hang here. Large place. As for the menu, it's pretty decent. Standard pub fare but at least it has a little bit of variety. Has plenty of televisions to watch sports, but you don't have to be a sports fan to hang there. The waitresses are nice, no attitude. Unusual place. The waitress seen admonishing the band every time I've been there. Very unprofessional goings on. It permeates the atmosphere with negativity. Everyone is hand clapping and singing yet there is some sort of incident that makes me, a patron feel uncomfortable because of shoddy treatment and rude behavior by some of the workers there. If a "restaurant" chooses to use Velveeta in their food they should have enough money to pay the Juilliard trained musicians more than $10.41 and hour. Even worse is that they speak so loudly and condescending to the musicians that the customers can see exactly what charlatans run this place. When you start not caring about how you are perceived by the customer (RUDE) and don't care to treat people properly- the business is one step away from tanking. Horrible Horrible Horrible service. Went to this place to watch my brother's band play. Walked up to the bar to get a drink. The first words out of the female bartender's mouth was "You can't sit here, these seats are taken". I had no intention of sitting at the bar I was going to sit a table. When she gave me my drink there was too much cranberry juice in it. I asked if she could more 7up in it. She rolled her eyes at me and said, "Do you want me to pour some out?" A great bar to meet up with friends and eat delicious wings! They have a lot of good wing flavors and offer pitchers for 8 dollars. It's definitely a great place to go with friends to eat and have a few beers. However, it's often occupied by older patrons or is very empty so it's not really a place to come to party. The bar itself is pretty dark and has a few small tables and a pool table at the back. My biggest problem with the bar is that they have live entertainment come and perform. Sometimes it's pretty good, but usually they play their music way too loud and it's unpleasant to stay there. All in all, come here for the cheap wings and cheep beer. I've been going to this bar for years. Great hangout spot to bring your friends whether it's to watch the game or catch up. They always have specials for holidays and events going on almost every weekend. It's a large space that is divided into a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other. Their drink sizes are largely portioned compared to most bars I've been to and their food is delicious, not your typical bar food. Place is clean and the servers are very sweet.
