Came here on whim because I was looking for a local bar near me in Queens Village that had a pool table. My boyfriend and I were happy to find a place on a Sunday that closes late. This place is not fancy but it's a good neighborhood spot I think. First the service, the bartender Mia was nice and attentive. She can make a mean cocktail. I would come back just to try those honestly. I ordered a lemon drop and it was good. Second the prices. Listen I don't think you can beat those prices. Beer is around $5 Cocktails from $8-10 and a personal pizza (the only food offered) is $8. Pool is $1 just make sure you have quarters or the bartender can make change for you. The pizzas were decent. You definitely can split between 2 people. Wish they offered more food options though. Come here if you just needs a spot for cheap good drinks and to chat with friends. Sorry to anyone that sees that there's a dj or live music it's very rare there but everything else is ok

We enjoyed spending a few nights at the local dive bar, which was conveniently located right next to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Queens. We were very much entertained by their local bartender, Christina, while we were there. She made us laugh with her crazy antics throughout the evening, which brought us back the second night that she was there. An evening of cheap, well-poured drinks and good conversation with Christina made for a great way to end a few of our long working days out there in New York better. read more

My husband and I decided to stop in here for a drink when staying next door in the Marriott. The drinks were great prices and we had a nice time sitting outside under the umbrella. The redheaded bartender was very sweet and she is a student at St John's like our son. She took our temperatures and was very sanitary, especially when she cooked. The chicken nuggets were so good! Went here when I was in the mood for a local dive and not in the mood to travel far. The vibe here is super casual and you can tell it is mostly regulars that make up the patrons. Drinks are cheap and average tasting. I like that they have a dart board to pass the time: a nice touch if you are not one satisfied by just "sitting" at the bar. My experience here overall, was pretty good. I had ordered an Irish coffee, and the bartender said they did not really do that here, but she would try. She tried, I tasted, and it was not bad! I had a good conversation with another local and played a few good games of darts. After a couple of hours here, I was tipsy, happy, and able to walk back safely home. I would definitely comeback here if I was ever not up to traveling to Bell. The best part about this place is that Bagel Oasis is across the street. So after drinking, you can get a great sandwhich to soak up all the liquor! read more

This is defiantly a nice little dive bar. Lots of locals and guys coming off of work come here to kick back and have some drinks. The bartenders here are usually very friendly. The owners here are great, always nice to talk to. They have events here sometimes and have lots of tvs! They have a jukebox and lots of music to choose from! They get all different types of crowds as well. They have many alcoholic choices, lots of seating and a pool table. read more

Went there first time, with friend who has been there. Bar Server Christina, fast, funny, she should be part owner, she gives multi tasking a new definition. Had chips for customers, nice I was hungry, then mozzarella sticks came out soon after a frequent customer I just met was talking about "Their mozzarella sticks awesome " Well I am not sure who paid for them, I tried them, YES they were AWESOME, like they must have a secret place they get them. Queens my grow up place, just where I needed to be. Esmeralda, Floral Park. Gov Cuomo, Mayor De Blasio need to try their Mozzarella sticks, they may have an awareness of what places like this need to stay in business. Customers friendly, like I felt at home, "Saying hi, I am, telling me their name, asking me mine" well something I haven't experienced in awhile, friendly, people with manners. Use to come here because we had a great friend that worked here. Been back only a few times since she quit. The staff was always friendly here. Parking was never an issue, but be aware of the drug addicts. Also cops are known to frequent this place because of did activity in the neighborhood. read more

I think this will be an atypical review of the place since I don't think I saw it on a typical weekend night. However, here we were--my partners and I--coming back from a trip to Vietnam that was wine-dry and tiring. We landed at 11pm and settled into the hotel by midnight....but we were jetlagged and ready to go. I mean, it's noon somewhere and day-drinking is a thing--except it's more acceptable now that it's midnight in the states. Well, one of my partners found this pub within walking distance from our hotel, and we decided to venture out. I mean, would I normally like this place? Probably. I love me a good dive bar with a quality dart board and pool table. I also love the late-night spinach pizza that they were serving up. However, it was our bartender that made it awesome. She cleared us three spots at the bar, turned us onto some cheesy goodness, and poured much-needed glasses of wine. This was a good welcome home, and this place is gonna have a soft spot in my heart. read more

Horrible! The bartender doesn't give you change and overcharges you for drinks depending on her mood! The regular price for a cocktail is $10, the short haired bartender charged me $17 and didn't give me my change on multiple occasions! Same thing happened to my boyfriend. The worst bar you could ever go or recommend anyone to go to!!! The alcohol is putrid!! Bugs in the liquor bottles, not to mention how old the alcohol is! The beer in the tap is so disgusting!! Beware the alcohol, you can get alcohol poisoning from the dirty alcohol that is served! The waitresses, including Christina, set their own prices on drinks; including their own tip, overcharging anyone who orders from the bar!! Christina spilled my drink and was going to charge me for another one because of how drugged out she was! Oh not to mention, the place gets raided by police on more than one occasion, and many times on the same night. Drugs are always on the premises, and underage kids go and drink there all the time!! The bartenders do not I.d. Anyone; so they basically let anyone in to drink. There are always fights and they window in the front of the establishment has always been broken shattered, to where they had to get a plastic window and not to mention, see through!!! It's a neighborhood bar and a place to get a drink for the folks staying at the two hotels right next to it. I'm in the later group. The place is old, but clean. The barmaid there, when I was there was very cool. The prices were reasonable and well, I just loved the atmosphere. My kind of dive bar. I love going to Pat's Emerald Bar. Larry the owner is great, he'll always join you for a drink, and Tommy, his son, is just as good. The place isn't around other bars, but it is worth it just to go here for a comfortable few drinks. read more
