Solid Irish pub. Delicious food on the menu - incl many burger styles - but mostly in the burgers & fried item variety. If you are looking for a balanced meal w/ a salad, soup, etc., , you are out of luck. Clean, courteous staff, friendly regulars, & good Guinness pours. What's not to like ?

Finally found the most funnest dive bar in Metropolitan Avenue in Queens, New York City. My friend and I ventured out to Acey Ducey's on a late Friday evening for a relaxing evening out. I like how affordable and diverse the drink and food selection is presented. We ordered a few local IPAs and appetizers. It's my first time trying such delicious and flavorful chicken empanadas in an Irish bar. Well done chefs! But my favorite has to be their golden cheesy brown tots covered in a melty blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone. It was the best and first for me! Yay! This bar vibe is very chilled in the sense that you'll find the locals in the neighborhood hanging here. Everyone was just out to have a great time. Crazy I thought I was in the Midwest just hanging, I'm not used to being in bars like these in NYC with such a humble vibe. Their music selection was pretty diverse too; it was cheerful and welcoming. Acey Ducey is definitely that dive bar you can venture out to catch a game on the big screen with your friends and/or family. The bartenders were polite. This has to be my favorite dive bar in the Metropolitan Avenue neighborhood.

We had a nice time and some good food at this nice pub. They certainly have some regulars which is always a good sign. The burger was delicious. Service was a bit brusque, but we got what we needed. The music playing in the bar added to the atmosphere and was not too loud. We will go back for sure.

Straight into the garbage... Tasted like old sour nasty beer juice the one nasty bite I attempted

This steak sandwich was not what I expected... It was unseasoned, bland steak, drenched in different sauces. I took just one bite, and immediately regretted it. And the bread was overwhelmingly soggy, I give it a 3 out of 10, and the three is only bc I'm not fully sure if it was supposed to taste like that, or they were having a bad day.

Just your basic dive bar, but we had a good time here! We recently came to celebrate my friends birthday, and we were able to rent out the back section with most of the tables. There was table service in our section, which was very convenient so we didn't have to keep going up to the bar. We got hungry towards the end of the night, so we ordered nachos and fried pickles. They were surprisingly really good! I loved the sauce that came with the fried pickles. They also played good music, which can sometimes be hit or miss at these type of dive bars. If I lived in the area, I would come here for my more lowkey nights.

Exceeded all expectations. Acey Ducey's seems pretty unassuming from the exterior. Upon entering, it looks like your run-of-the-mill neighborhood bar. Don't underestimate them, though -- whoever's behind the scenes knows how to make some good drunk food. We shared a shrimp poboy and the nachos. Nothing to complain about on the poboy; the fries were delightfully crispy on the outside and starchy on the inside -- just how I like 'em. The nachos, though... wow. There are nachos, then there are NACHOS. These are the latter. They arrived on an enormous platter, I'm assuming for sharing. Flawlessly layered so every chip had a varying assortment of toppings. No sad chips at the bottom that ended up naked due to everything being haphazardly dumped in a mound on top. I can't even remember if we finished the plate between the lot of us, there was such an abundance of crunchy, creamy, cheesy goodness. Oh, and their draft beer selection's not shabby either. I wish I had something like an Acey Ducey's in my neighborhood. The Village isn't short on great eateries, but there's never been a joint that compels me to make it my local. The kind of chill place you can roll in wearing whatever the hell, with whoever the hell, it's going to be reliably decent, and won't cost you a kidney. This feels like it's a local for plenty of folks, and I admittedly have some bar-envy.

We love this no-frills dive bar with exceptional food! This time we split the fully loaded quesadilla and it was just superb. There are tables but this is more of a pull-up-the-barstool kind of place. They serve a great Bloody Mary, too!

All I can say what an amazing job timothy did!!! They recently host a birthday party I had planned for 30+ people. I choose a buffet style with there famous wings ( Buffalo & Thai chili) , sliders, pene al vodka, and Spanish rice with Ceasar salad. Everything was amazing and delicious. I have to give a huge shout to Emma and Donna who were bar tending and severing all the drinks. Also a huge shout out to Elmer thank you very much. They really were on top of there game getting every drinks order in and out asap . I would definitely do another party get together with Acey ducey and highly recommend to anyone looking to throw party!

At first, we thought…read moreit was just a bar, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out it's very family-friendly! The inside is beautiful, and we were seated right away. One thing we loved was that there were TVs everywhere, which was perfect because my husband and daughter wanted to keep up with one of the games while we ate. I started with a peach bellini, which was so refreshing and delicious. My husband ordered a beer cocktail (I can't remember the exact name), but it was so good he ended up having two! My youngest daughter ordered her favorite, a grilled cheese from the kids' menu, and my teenage daughter got the smash burger, which came topped with an egg and served with fries. The fries were thin, fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was huge and pretty good, although I would have liked a little more mayo or dressing on it. I chose onion rings as my side, and I have to say they were the best onion rings I've ever had--perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely a 10/10! My husband ordered the balsamic glaze chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and really enjoyed it as well. It also looked like they have space in the back available for private parties, which is a nice option for events. Another thing I appreciated was the number of bathrooms available, including a family restroom. Of course, the girls couldn't leave without dessert! One got the lava cake and the other chose the churros, and both were happy with their choices. The waitresses were attentive, friendly, and checked on us regularly throughout our meal. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back again!

I got the Carolina Tangy BBQ and then I tried one of his Jerk Wings (which took entirely too long to come out . Felt like it was seasoned on the spot. Ate my wings slowly and finished our drinks before they came out). Carolina bbq wings were FIRE. Cooked perfectly, tasty sauce and it was great sauce to wing ratio. The jerk wings were pretty good too. I'd order them next time now that I know about the length of time it takes. The French fries were perfect as well honestly. Ordered some churros and they were a 4/5; just a little too crunchy but I enjoyed. My first drink was strong but I ordered a Long Island second and it was pretty blah. Service was okay. My server was kind of blah but she got the job done and was constantly around in case we needed anything. Ambiance was great. Really good place to watch the games with your friends. Lots of TVs.

Glad my friends took me here! It's very easy to miss this place. Right off of Metropolitan Avenue down 88th Street. If you didn't know about it already, you definitely wouldn't know it's there. The Q54 is just a few steps away. The space is HUGE! Really massive pub with a charming feel. They have different live music acts there most weekends. Check their social media to see who is playing in advance. Service is extremely attentive and friendly. The actual bar wraps around the front in a U shape. Plenty of room anywhere you go. So spacious. The music acts have a dedicated space on the left side when you first enter. Lots of booth and table seating in the front. The back was so immense. Lots of t.v.'s all over playing sports. You can tell lots of locals and regulars patronize this pub. Thr zucchini and mozzarella sticks were good. Most likely frozen but they were still yummy. For my entree I had the fish and chips for $20. The tartar sauce and batter on the fish was delicious. The lettuce and tomato on the plate was just an afterthought. The fries were kind of dry, but I loved that they gave me malt vinegar to go with them. They know what they're doing! They offer a wide variety of dishes. They have a sandwich board that they bring around to every table with the daily specials written on it. They do offer desserts but you have to ask what's available since they're not listed on the menu. I had the molten lava cake. It was my favorite part of the meal. Warm, gooey and tasty. Really hit the spot. When the bands start playing the vibe is just so fun and chill. I had a great time. Hope to come back soon!

I got there early to snag a table, and the team was already hard at work with nearly the entire beergarden packed with fans. The hostess Jenna was an absolute rockstar all night - I don't think she stopped moving or smiling! Not only was she seating guests with poise and insane amounts of charm, but she was also running food and drinks to make sure guests weren't waiting for their orders - in fact, despite there being more than 250 people in the beergarden, we never waited more than 4 minutes for drinks and 12 minutes for food which is pretty impressive given how busy they were inside and outside. We were served by Lana, who legit might have been the nicest, friendliest, most engaging server I have ever met in New York City, and I am not being overly dramatic here. She handled her insanely large section with aplomb, took the time to actually learn our names and address us by names when asking if we wanted to order anything, checked in on us every few minutes even if we did not need anything, and despite likely being tired from all of the guests, the running of food and drinks, and the hustling, she was cracking jokes all night through her radiant and starry smile, and making our group feel like the most important people there despite the fact that we were just three regular dudes enjoying a basketball game. Her attentiveness and personality alone are worth requesting to sit in her section at all times. Food was solid on this trip - our table ordered a half-pound burger which was cooked and seasoned perfectly (came with fries and toppings), mozzarella sticks which were piping hot with a nice crunch on the exterior, waffle fries (had to get them again they were too good last trip), and honey BBQ wings, which although they weren't very meaty (not their fault since I am assuming they didn't butcher the wings in-house - could have just been a lean batch from the supplier), the sauce was addictive and delicious and I found myself dipping everything we ordered into it so it wouldn't go to waste - order the Honey BBQ! All beers came out cold and rapidly (Cobblestones uses plastic for half liter beers when the beergarden is saturated with guests, just be prepared for that - makes sense because of the volume). The rest of the staff was incredible given the chaos. Beergarden manager Pete made it a point to check in on us a couple of times and was very appreciative of all of the guests coming for the game, and you can tell he steers the ship effectively because everyone in the beergarden was focused, attentive, and in the zone during what many bars would be challenged to handle. One final thought - my two friends who came with me (who are NOT "let's go out drinking at night" type of guys) asked me when we are coming back for a Friday or Saturday night - they loved the atmosphere, loved the friendly service from Lana, and loved the food and drinks. The answer? very soon! Thank you Cobblestones!
