Traditional Irish bar with a cool vibe. The shell steak was on special and the most special aspect to it is the value. Been here a few times but today the spicy wings really won the superbowl! Must try for great high quality bar food

Happy Dry January! Guiness Zero (best N/A beer - tastes / feels exactly like regular Guiness draught), & lobster bisque

Awesome old school Irish pub on a quiet, residential street. Full menu w/ multiple salads, soups, sandwiches & burgers, as well as off the beaten path specials. VERY cool vibe inside - warm, wood interior, w/ lots of nooks & cranny's. Even though it's fairly large inside, it still feels intimate, & *def* has a "vibe". They also have Guiness Zero draught cans, & they know how to pour them - perfect for Dry January. Clean inside, friendly & attentive staff, & also typical playlist of 80s tunes - got to hear "Wang Chung". I will def be going out of my way to come here in the future !

I used to come here often in the late 1980's early 1990's when it was known as Cooper's Ale House. Loved those 10 cent wing nights. Anyway, I'm old. It seems the only thing that's changed is the name. The decor is the same as it was over 33 years ago. In fact, some of the tables still have the old English font style "C" emblem on them. Anyway, my Guiness pint(s) were on point, my better half found her Moscow Mule refreshing, the pork dumplings and wings were good, but the absolute BOMB was the Yer Man Burger. Made with lamb and beef and served with melted mozzarella cheese on a hoagie bun, with lettuce, tomatoes, raw onion, fries, cole slaw and a pickle, it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped in this place many years ago after my older sibling used to come here when it was a bowling alley and half a bar it was turned into coppers which became very popular and now it it's yermans. The food is delish and the workers are very kind and friendly it's family owned by a great man name Jimmy. The place has the old bar feel. Plenty of beers and alcohol beverages to choose from. Great for sports fans plenty of tvs . Come down have drink some food mingle watch a game or show on tv, it a warm friendly place to be.

Been here a few times as it's local. It's a pretty big bar with plenty of drink options. I Came here for takeout amid this crazy corona times and was surprised on how tasty their Shepard's pie was. Also impressed on the size. It was St. Patrick's day for reference. Definitely tasted homemade.

When I took up a spot at the bar this past Sunday I was mentally kicking myself. Why has it taken me so long to stop into Yer Man's for some Sunday football? The televisions were well placed so any seat in the bar seemed to have unobstructed, non neck cramp positioning. The menu read well enough for me to come back for some non beer finger food and a few plates whisked past me that looked terrific. The happy hour wings special which are offered some weekdays in addition to Sunday have timers on the point of sale system, so be sure to get your order in before the cutoff. My order was placed five minutes to five and was not in time, (my fault) so I had to pay the full cost. At the throwback price of thirty five cents each any decent wing could suffice for the price if only for basic sustenance. But when you are served up perfectly cooked wings, moist and jucey with a ample amount of sauces to dress up and spice up your wing, missing timers are merely an afterthought at most. Yer Man's serves up such a wonderful blue cheese for your dipping needs. So chunky and dense. The devil is in the details. There is no better place locally to watch weekday sports and weekend football.

they most certainly need to work hard on bringing some more ppl in here. this is located at a very quiet street in Glendale. parking around here is sweet and easy to find, however there is no private spots it is all street parking. we came in for a karaoke night with friends and quickly as we came in i realized that they have some major changes and a road ahead of them if they want to keep their doors open. this is very spacious spot, they have plenty if bar and table sitting, it is a very legit Irish pub, one of those that you would find some drinks that are from Ireland and nowhere else you may find. the drinks and food are not expensive so this is a nice night out in budget and you will ahve fun. now lets go to not so good. as we walked in the smell was overwhelmingly horrible, they have something that is rotting in there by the entrance, after a while you will get used to it. it is not quite a stink stink but it is a very weird and bothersome smell. the restrooms are crying for help they are dated and very badly kept. this is a cozy experience as far a for a karaoke cause there was not that many ppl there so once we were about to leave the spot i felt like i already knew everyone in there, this can be a good or a real bad thing. we ordered some mozzarella sticks, i was torn, as the breading outside the cheese was really yummy and garlic like but at the same time it tasted a bit old and peculiar, so i would not trust their kitchen again. either way, i would never have stayed here as long as i stayed if it was not for the event i was attending.

    It's a major award!

The front of the menu is emblazoned with the phrase "Yer Neighborhood Place To Be". Never have truer words been spoken. I've passed by this bar a lot and always wanted to check it out. I'm a sucker for Irish pubs. Yer Man's is the kind of place I've always wanted. When I first walked in- I felt at home right away. So many times I've walked into a local bar and have instantly felt unwelcome. That's the total opposite of this spot. The bar is spacious and everyone is smiling. I'm all for dive bars once in a while, but my comfort zone is a big bar. My friends and I came here on a Sunday night, specifically for karaoke. It was awesome. There's no charge to put in a song and the guy running it was cool beans. The crowd at the bar was mixed- young and old- but everyone was very supportive of each other singing. The bar also has a dedicated darts playing area, two back rooms, and the main horseshoe shaped bar that spans two large areas. Also- my personal favorite- they've got both Mets and Yankees memorabilia around AND seats from both Shea and Yankee stadium! This is in addition to a lot of kitschy decor and a bunch of TVs playing sports channels. I can't wait to watch a Mets game here. Service was great with everyone being friendly all around. And the prices were pretty good- for a tab of 6 beers it was around $30. I didn't try any food when I went but my friends did and it all looked good. Fun Fact- the TV show King of Queens was shot here! Bottom line- well priced, friendly folks, good times. Yer Man's is officially my favorite Queens bar.

First drink of the night, good presentation bad taste.

They are still sending out the same amazing classics and have added great specials over the years. The French onion soup is still the most amazing concoction on earth and Cronins could only make it better if they offered it via IV. My mom and I love to share either the turkey or roast beef dinner platters with two soups and still end up with leftovers. The side of turnips is a comfort meal in itself. Potato leek is close second to the french onion. The staff makes the place that much better. The entire place is definitely invested in their patrons and community.. I am a sucker for this famous British/Irish deep fried goodness. Well, I can say without a doubt that this version is excellent (8.5/10) as described. The dish comes with three pieces that are crispy and tender. However, they gotta make a better tartar sauce than the ones they served in packets. Also, we switched out chips for onion rings. They were fantastic! I also really enjoyed their French Onion Soup (8/10) and the Shepherds Pie (7.5/10). The soup was flavorful without being too salty like most restaurants, while the pie had relatively fluffy mash potato with tasty ground beef mixture. The only item that was a slight letdown was the Chicken Pot Pie (6/10). The puff pastry was decent and so was the cream sauce. The problem was the overcooked and dry chicken breast meat. Our server was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Btw, even though the space was basically a dive bar, the energetic 60's and 70's music was definitely a plus. Therefore, I gave it a slightly higher score for decor. All in all, this was a great experience.

The gorgeous, ancient building, Fillmores for close to 50 years now but home to a bar for many years prior to that, is perennially packed with a cross section of local regulars representing many eras of the neighborhoods varied history and populations, from old school working class joes in Union Jackets and hardhats to more recent immigrants from every corner of the world befitting it's location smack in the center of the worlds borough. They're all most definitely having a great time, soaking up the fantastic atmosphere and character and being served by seasoned pros with a level of old school care and camaraderie, and focus on loyalty to the regulars that is also sadly rapidly fading away (how many other places in this town still know the meaning of the words "buy back?") Where the place really sets itself apart from all the other local watering holes however charming they might be on their own right however, is the food. Its lives up to the original designation of a tavern as a place that places a priority on the cuisine, and indeed the offerings rise far far above the bar-food norm. This is the type of spot that not only serves one of the great, deeply satisfying under-the radar burgers, non nonsense but deeply meaty uniquely presented on a long hero-type roll, but also one of the best, and cheapest NY Strips in town and a killer prime rib special. Also has some of the most reliably crispy wings, even if the propriety house sauce is just a tad sweet for my tastes, and a rotating list of delicious house made soups (particularly a marvelous lobster bisque) that can be paired with said wings or most other options as part of the wonderful lunch specials. I've heard many other patrons praise the grilled chicken wrap but have never had the chance to give it a try as of yet. I'll have many more chances because I plan on continuing to visit the place often for years to come, and here's to hoping that this place remains a constant in the ever changing borough as it's miraculously been able to all these many many years.

I'd seen it on Yelp for quite a while, and the food in the photos looked really promising. Unfortunately, when we pulled up and saw the location, I had a feeling it wasn't going to live up to my expectations. I was hungry enough that I decided to give it a chance anyway. If you're coming strictly for the food, I'd probably skip it. But if you're looking for a casual spot to relax with a beer and grab a bite, it does the job. Although the meal wasn't what I had hoped for, I do think the kitchen made the best of the ingredients they had. My husband ordered the steak sandwich, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tender the meat was, even though it clearly wasn't an expensive cut. I ordered the French onion soup, which lacked depth of flavor, had very few onions, and the bread was really soggy. My Caesar salad, on the other hand, was dressed and tossed perfectly, but the dressing tasted like it came straight from a bottle. If they made their own dressing, or even used a higher-quality one, it could have been an excellent salad. Our server was friendly and attentive, though she didn't seem very familiar with food terminology. I asked whether the onion rings were made fresh or frozen, and she replied, "They always taste fresh when I've had them." That pretty much answered my question, I'm guessing they were frozen. Overall, it wasn't a satisfying meal for me. Then again, I came for the food. If your goal is simply to unwind with a drink and some casual bar food, you'll probably have a much better experience than I did.
