Nice cafe with great seating area. Love the atmosphere here. It's totally full of hipster vibe ans so relaxing. The coffee here are great. I heard there is bar and karaoke at night which I would totally love to come join at one of the night.

What a vibe this place is! The strawberry matcha was the best matcha drink I've ever had. They also have a bar for cocktails and the desserts looked yummy. Pretty of seating and tables for studying. The service was quick! Still thinking about that matcha! They also have a drink and dessert special during a certain time of the day.
I was looking die a place to work for about an hour and found this cafe. It's at the corner of Main St & Northern blvd. So a little walk necessary from the subway but worth it for the espresso drinks ands space to work. Upon arrival I was able to be nut order with the cashier. I decided on the black sesame latte and the peanut butter & banana sandwich. I wish they had a little more savory choices. While I waited I sat at the communal table to work. During the weekday is a great space to work. The wait is minimal and I received my order quickly. The latte was excellent! The espresso was smooth and therefore paired well with black sesame. The sandwich was good but nothing special. Great cafe but more savory selection.
Known for delicious dessert, matcha, and unique lattes! Upon searching for another matcha place in Flushing, I happened to stumble across The Duo Coffee. There are plenty of seats but during the weekends they fill up quickly. I would just recommend coming in earlier. Really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and banana latte. The matcha had a strong creamy flavor that complimented the strawberry flavor very well. Judging from the color, it was definitely a decent quality matcha. The hot banana latte was not too sweet and really impressed me with the taste. It wasn't artificial and was very comforting on a colder day. I also tried the oolong tea cheesecake. The texture was moist and the perfect density for a cheesecake. While the tea flavor was light, I would get it again. Excited to try out their other drinks, they also have a selection of desserts like the tiramisu that will sell out quickly.
Spacious interior with immaculate vibes. Drinks were great too. Service was quick and efficient. They also have free wifi. I have a feeling this will become my new go-to spot for my WFH days.
Finally came to this side of Main Street to try the Duo coffee shop near Northern Blvd. Very open and spacious with plenty of seating and a kiosk for ordering. Got the creme brûlée latte after debating for 10 minutes on what to get because everything sounded so good. The drink took about 6 minutes to be made, there were 2 people ahead of me and the baristas were very friendly. The iced creme brûlée latte was really good but it was pricey at $8 and change.
Keepin it real out here on Main Street Very surprised to find a cafe like this on super crowded Main Street. Drinks aren't cheap but they're worth the price, all very unique. Limited food selection but still have some. Clean lounge space, decent wifi, 1 ish outlet, clean bathroom, very nice spot for me to take a break in between work appointments. Hope they stick around
My drink was delicious! My first time having honey comb and it was so fun to chew on. It's a good spot to get work done but make sure you have full battery life as there are not many outlets. I found a table by the plants that had an extension cord. Majority of the seats by the wall do not have outlets. Also they do play music though it's not that loud. What I got: iced honey comb latte with honey comb on top and less ice.
I was pleasantly overwhelmed by their drink options. Besides what I ordered, I was tempted by the sweet osmanthus fermented latte, salted cream jasmine latte, and crème brûlée latte. They also offer a great selection of snacks and desserts, like the strawberry sando, oolong tea cheesecake, and more. The cafe has plenty of seating, cute plant decor, and a lovely illustrated menu. With free Wi-Fi, a bathroom, and relaxing music, it's a great place to wfh or chill out with your friends. They turn into a bar at night time. ＊Double Pistachio Latte $8.5 The double pistachio latte was nutty, with a hint of saltiness and a strong coffee base. It was made with pistachio milk, espresso, and topped with a thick layer of pistachio cream foam. The ultimate "pistachio on pistachio"combo. ＊Tiramisu Latte $7.75 Their tiramisu latte is more coffee forward and not too sweet. Generously dusted with cocoa powder and topped with a ladyfinger. It was such a treat to dip the ladyfinger into the drink. ＊Black Sesame Basque $7.95 This black sesame basque burnt cheesecake was nutty and creamy, topped with a cream cheese frosting. The texture was a bit more firm than I personally prefer, but the earthy flavor made up for it. ＊Mango Mousse Bear $10.25 A crime scene when I cut the bear's head with my fork lol. Beyond the cute presentation, the mango mousse was creamy and smooth, with a nice contrast from the graham crunch.
Cute cafe on Main st with a pretty big menu for drinks and snacks. The service is fine, drinks come out not super fast but not super slow either. There's a good amount of seats but it definitely gets packed on the weekends as there's a lot of people who bring their computers to work. The drinks are standard tasting and they have some cute plants as well inside.
Cute concept because I heard by 5pm they close the cafe and turn it into a bar. Don't really understand why there are flowers and plants in the cafe. They also blast korean music. Cold brew was good perhaps next time I'll check out the desserts.
environment 10/10: i loved the interior if this place it was really nice and there was a variety of different types of seating. i was surprised to see a cafe of this size in flushing! service 10/10: they were kind and concise and they have a good order/order pickup system! parking: its parking in flushing so looping around finding parking is sort of what you sign up for haha menu 10/10: there are bunch of unique menu items! i forgot which ones my friend and i got but they were so good and had a good ratio of milk to shot/matcha. a bit on the pricier side but then again, it is in new york. read more
Visited this cafe twice so far and each time has been a great experience. The staff are friendly and this cafe is so spacious and a great "work from home" option. This cafe looks really modern and has a lot of diff drink options to choose from. Their strawberry matcha was slightly sweeter than I would prefer but still very delicious. Came around 11 pm on a Saturday and was easily able to find a table close to an outlet. The vibe here is super nice, with lots of tables, switching to a bar in the evening. Theres even free WiFi, though slightly slow. However the pastry and drinks are lacking quality. I ordered the - salted jasmine latte 3/5: I was hoping for a stronger flavor but it was lacking. - sea salt chocolate chip cookie 2/5: if you like soft cookies, this cookie might be for you! But I personally don't like soft cookies. It was super soft all over and really thick and dry. Overall the vibes in here are really nice, but it's more of an aesthetic/ work place rather than a place for food. read more

Can confirm they allow dogs! +1 automatically Came here finally for some coffee. Honestly nothing to complain about with the coffee but the cafe is still a vibe. And the staff was nice to give some water to my dog as we escape some of the heat in the summer. read more
My family and I were staying up the block this past weekend during our trip back home. I wanted to try a new coffee shop and this place was down the block so we stopped on in. And I'm glad we did. Really cool vibe and outstanding customer service. The two young ladies are super sweet walked us through Their menu and just gave fantastic customer service. My family and I ordered three different drinks, all three were delicious. Highly recommend for a good hang and a cup of Joe. I know we would be back next time we're back in town. read more

Love, love, love this place. I usually get the coconut latte or any of the matches. Has some of the best matcha in this area. I've also tried a bunch of their other coffee drinks and they're all yum. There's a lot of seating inside but it can get pretty busy. I wish they had more outlets. This place becomes a bar at night but I have yet to try. read more
Came to this place to grab a morning coffee. Was in the city for a family weekend trip with my sisters and mom. One of my sister recommend and brought us here to try their coffee. Let me say, love their selection and interior design of this place. Was not too far from where I stay. We got some coffee and tuna&corn sandwich. Loving the new wave of coffee shops cropping up in DT Flushing as of late. It had been sad since Presso closed years ago after carrying the weight of being the only independent coffee shop in the area for so long and there was hardly a dedicated coffee shop (besides Starbucks or DD). This place is perfectly located in a seemingly semi-dead office building that's always been...just there. I'm glad they're attracting more foot traffic to this side, which is generally much slower than the rest of Flushing. But if anything, the prices here are very telling of just how skyrocketing high rent in Flushing has become. The prices here are comparable to Manhattan and BK cafes, if not slightly more. As with any coffee shops, you'll see youngsters glued to their laptops for hours here; the wifi is actually fast and the space is cozy, though their lounge chairs are insanely low. Drinks are good. I really like their Salted Cream Jasmine Latte. Their honeycomb latte is OK - didn't think it was anything special, other than a nice photo op. Though coming here is not going to be a daily ritual for me, I do think they put a lot of effort in sourcing quality ingredients and crafting their drinks. They turn into a cocktail bar at night (which seems to be a rising trend among many new cafes), so I do think in some capacity, they are carrying Flushing's coffee and nightlife scene on their backs. read more

Customer service was on point; very informative. Everything was delicious, the Chiffon cake one of the baristas recommend was mindblown, can't wait to come back, the decor was so cute, very spacious, perfect to get work done or even chill. The cool thing is the cafe turns in to a lounge at night. read more
I think this cafe has potential but feels a bit run down. Coffee isn't the best especially for the price it's charged. Theres an also a lot of plants that looks like it's on its way to the plant graveyard. No service, there were 3 young gals working at the cafe but they all look a bit checked out. read more
I've been on a mission to try cafes with hot Pistachio Latte and so I took the 7 train to Flushing last Saturday to try this place out based on the promising reviews for their Pistachio latte. Overall, it was just okay. First off the staff unfortunately couldn't even say hello or pretend that they like their jobs. Perhaps they're exhausted but this was around noon. The pistachio latte itself didn't taste pistachio-ey, I make a far more decent one at home with my Pistachio milk. The place was quite nice though with plants and various type of seats. Restroom was nice and clean. Based on my experience, won't be my first choice for a Pistachio latte. read more
This is one of the few drink spots near Main St that actually has seating. I tried the Brown Sugar Black Tea Latte and I thought it had the perfect blend of coffee and tea. I also tried and liked the Oolong Tea Cheesecake (I may be biased though since I'm an Oolong fan!). I saw signs that the place turns into a bar at night and also serve alcoholic drinks. I tried honeycomb for the first time when I ordered the Iced Honeycomb Oat Milk Latte. Tip: If you order the Iced Honeycomb Oat Milk Latte, get the honeycomb on top and just take bites mid-drink! Don't mix the honeycomb into the latte like I did because the honey doesn't mix that well in a cold drink (probably obvious) and biting into the honeycomb is just so much more delicious and satisfying. Anyways, the Iced Honeycomb Oat Milk Latte is probably my favorite latte I've tried in all of NYC, and I always order a specialty latte when I see one. It was so rich, smooth, and creamy with the perfect ratio of oat milk to espresso. I have an espresso machine at home, and this is a latte that is worth the price. I also tried a sip of the Grapefruit Sparkling, which was very bubbly, crisp, and refreshing. It was so crisp, it's what I would imagine it would feel like trying soda for the first time again. The coffee bar was very vibey (and it felt like someone's Williamsburg loft), but on a weekend afternoon, there was no seating. It was a large space, however, so it wasn't crowded and there was plenty of room to stand or admire the plants. read more

I only visited during cafe hours so i'm not sure how the bar scene is at night but the place was packed on a friday afternoon and they still had a lot of pastries available around 4pm so they're well stocked. there's a lot of seating available inside at their prices are pretty reasonable for the city. My friend has been obsessed with The Duo since it opened so she took me here for the café during the day and again for the bar at night. We ordered the Pineapple Passionfruit Sparkling ($6.25) and the Pineapple Passionfruit Jasmine ($6.25) from the café. Both drinks were great and you can't beat those drink prices. I don't drink alcohol, so when we came back at night, I mainly enjoyed the vibes. My friend ordered the Chardonnay and we shared the home-made Guacamole ($13), which includes avocado, cilantro, onion, pepper, salsa and chips. The staff was very knowledgeable on the alcohol they serve and the options do change based -on what they have available. There is a bathroom and the seating is comfortable. The cafe is hidden in a building near the corner of Northern and Main St. It was pretty empty the both times we were there, so I hope they get more business! read more
We got the honeycomb latte and strawberry matcha latte. While the strawberry matcha was delicious, the honeycomb latte tasted like a regular coffee with a honey comb on the side. The cafe was so cozy and had the cutest projector and the staffs were super nice! I would definitely come back to try other drinks! read more

Good coffee. Must drink with the creme brulee topping otherwise I thought it was a little too plain. This coffee bar turns into a bar at night which I thought was a cool concept but only visited on an early morning. Seems like a quiet place to work/ do homework only 1 other person was in the store when I went around 8:30 on a Monday. Vibes were good read more

Very quiet and relaxing ambiance during the day. Service could be friendlier. I ordered a Valrhona hot chocolate and sat by the bar. Very watered down and probably the worst I've ever had. For 7 bucks I expected better. read more
Was in the area and the first time I've seen this store and decided to check it out. Turns out they've been open for a few months. Since I walked in around 3pm, the cafe was open and I could order coffee, tea, etc. Found out that they close around 5pm and open back up at 6:30pm when the bar is open and they serve alcoholic beverages. Hence the name Duo! It's super spacious and plenty of seating- couch, benches, bar seating, chairs, etc. Service is very quick, there is a station to self order from but since there was no line, I ordered at the counter. I tried the Salted Cream Jasmine Latte as an afternoon pick-me-up. Salted cream is an acquired taste but I love it. I'm not a big fan of coffee but need it for the caffeine kick. The coffee tasted like coffee, they didn't overpower it with the syrup but next time I think I'll ask them for extra sweet to drown out coffee for me. Or just try the non caffeinated drinks or iced teas or cocktails. They have good options. read more

I came here to grab drinks with a friend after work. We were the first ones there since we work pretty close. The space itself has a beautiful ambiance, love the decor and setup. The waitress was super friendly and although I had to catch her attention a few times, she was watching all the tables and came right away when we made eye contact, which I super appreciate (instead of coming by every five seconds which can be disturbing). The drinks and food items came out quickly, we got the popcorn chicken and truffle fries. The fries were great, the chicken was good but not stellar in comparison to other places in Flushing. My drink was SO good, which is what matters. They do also have a happy hour although I ordered from the regular drink menu. Would recommend for a chill hangout spot after work! read more
