This is one of my favorite places to visit One in Queens, New York. Super friendly staff especially a girl named Moon. Pastries are abundant and they offer some handcrafted sandwiches. Nice corner store with a decent amount of tables (indoor and outdoor). There is a lot of residential parking. I stopped by after taking a walk at the nearby Browne Park. Seems like some of the customers did the same. Lavender Matcha Latte with Soy Milk (24oz) has a good note of lavender flavor. It goes well with the matcha. There is a lot of ice in the drink (at least half full), but I did not feel like it was excessive. It was a bit sweet, but you can ask for less or no sugar (I heard another customer ask for no sugar and extra matcha!) Note: it is extra for alternative milks, and less or no ice. Melon Pan had a good crisp. On the sweet side though, so not for me. Maybe I'll try their saviry options next time. Overall, a chill spot to grab a drink and go or hang around enjoying the vibes. read more

Super cute cafe + super friendly staff + amazing coffee and tea that melts my soul all equates to me becoming their permanent customer from Long Island! I happened to be in Flushing because I wanted to check out the bookstore on the block. I parked right in front of this cute cafe. What caught my eye? "Bean" and the cute sign that says "Coffee".. and the lack of caffeine in my bloodstream has been unleashing the raging migraines. Found this coffee shop by accident while in the neighborhood & am so glad I did! The inside of the shop is decorated so nicely! Very aesthetically pleasing! The barista was so sweet - the coffee was delicious & strong! Super grateful that this place ever opened in an area that had all the other essential businesses, but was in dire need of a coffee shop. It's not a well-known coffee spot unless you live in the surrounding few blocks or want to have something to take to the park. Korean-owned (as with most cafes here) but great menu selection, given that they are very small. In the few times that I've been here, it's never been filled with students studying in every inch of space as I've seen in other cafes on bigger commercial streets. Or maybe I've been lucky. The drinks are very solid and they do a pretty nice misugaru latte, which I don't think I've seen on any other menus. Definitely a very unique, interesting taste, coming from a non-Korean. read more

While it was sweet, it was really strong. Seating: It's a very open cafe with multiple seating areas, there's a little patio if you'd like to take some sunshine & talk to friends. The spot is hidden in a very suburban area of Queens, therefore it's trendy setting might not be for everyone. I stumbled upon this coffee shop on accident. I was taking a new long route with my dogs when I spotted Bean House from across the street. From the outside, it kinda gives off bar vibes but it was modern and sleek and I assumed it was a coffee shop from its name. Anyway, I was parched and wanted to get some iced coffee to go. They didn't have any signs that said no pets allowed so I took my dogs in and asked the employee if it was okay I had them with me. I am happy to announce that dogs are very welcome! They also have outdoor seating on the side of the building, which is super convenient for pet owners and extra nice on a sunny breezy day. During this visit, I got an iced caramel latte with oat milk and it was good! Very rich and creamy. I didn't absolutely love the oat milk they used but I definitely want to try a different alternative next time. I visited again a few days later and got a caramel macchiato, which was great too. Customer service is fine to great and the two drinks I got were good! I'm very happy I found this place and will be a frequent customer. read more

Very happy that there is another cute coffee shop in the neighborhood instead of Starbucks. I am a big cold brew drinker so their Kyoto Cold Brew caught my eye.
