This is a small cafe on the corner of Francis Lewis blvd and 26th ave, and its spacious. They have salads, soups, crepes, baked goods, coffee, tea, smoothies, along with acai bowls. I got their hot matcha latte with a pump of vanilla and oatmilk and it was good. I do wish they added in a bit more oatmilk, but it was pretty good. I did see a diverse crowd ordering here. Students, families, etc, it was quite nice. They also have 6 tables, and can seat up to 11 people at one time. They're also very clean and it's overall a very welcoming atmosphere. This café is such a wonderful addition to our neighborhood! The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and super kind. Sophia, Adrian (I believe that's his name), and the manager always make every visit a great experience. This is the second time I've ordered a gelato cake for my brother's birthday, and once again, it was a huge hit! I had chosen 1/2 Ferrero Rocher and 1/2 Cookies & Cream flavors, and everyone loved it. The simple design was perfect, and the cake was absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend their gelato, coffee (the Iced Brown Sugar Freddo Espresso with almond milk is my favorite), smoothies, pastries and you can't leave without trying an apple turnover! I came in on a Thursday with my daughters after school for some gelato. A sweet treat after a tough day adjusting to their new school. We were greeted warmly by the young men working. One of them was so kind to my daughters, allowing them to taste flavors before choosing the gelato they warned to order. They went with cake batter and cookie monster. I ordered a matcha lemonade. I called this morning and spoke with Maryann about my food allergies. I decided to try 3 Towns Cafe for the first time. It was less than a 20-minute walk from my house. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dessert dates. Soup of The Day *Ask for a sample* Beef Barley Soup + Oyster Crackers: I loosened the tight lid slowly to avoid spilling the soup. The beef barley soup was hearty. Health Shots Hot Shot: The hot shot (2oz) was spicy because of the cayenne and the black pepper. It gave me a good kick. Crêpe or Croffle Ham & Cheese Croffle: The ham & cheese croffle was flaky and yummy. Bakehouse I bought these nut-free baked goods below. Apple Turnover: The apple turnover was flaky and yummy. The apple filling was sweet. Fudge Brownie: The fudge brownie was chocolaty and yummy. Gelato "Last Drop" Gelato Special (Pumpkin Spice) + mini sugar cone: The gelato tasted like a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. This was my favorite. Driving by in the evening looking for a snack. Surprisingly, this place was empty but was loaded with pastries. I decided to try the chocolate croissant. It was a little hard and not much chocolate. It was a disappointment. I'll have to give this place a try earlier in the day. At least the place looked inviting with bright and colorful seating area along the side of the shoppe. We paid $35 for a macchiato, dona chai latte, 3 towns classic açaí bowl and crunch time bowl. I felt compelled to write this review because it was expensive and the portion sizes were wrong. The macchiato cost $4+tax and it was just 2 tiny shots of espresso with foam on top. The dona chai latte cost $5.75+tax and was in a small plastic cup, half of it was ice. The craziest part to me was the crunch time açaí bowl didn't have any fruits on top, apparently the banana and blueberry were already blended in. All we tasted was the vanilla protein. We were very disappointed because we usually go to Fitrition and Starbucks, and wanted to try a new local business. But quite frankly $35 for what we got felt like a scam. I was so happy to see this spot open. What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! We really needed a place like this where we can get healthy options. I stopped in for an acai bowl. There's also a wonderful selection of baked goods, gelato, juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and crepes. The place is absolutely adorable. The owner was very warm and friendly. Fast and easy to grab a good cup of freshly brewed coffee . Today I grabbed a ice coffee , not from a pitcher under the cabinet ( temp outside 88* ) 16 oz is $3.39 . I asked for a large , the receipt showed $3.39 , large , 20 oz ,$1.10 extra = $4.49 . I don't understand either ? Numerous selections of sweets & pastries behind the counter .. Please note their is no kitchen in this establishment.
