I got a vegetable panini and a double latte. The latte was delicious and rich. The paninis came out quickly and was the perfect size for lunch. Service was great. Decor lives up to the name.

My girlfriend sent me a post for a rainbow cookie milkshake on Instagram and after taking one sip it was clear to me that she is the one. Absolutely incredible in every way. Literally tasted like a liquified rainbow cookie, and the sliced cookie on the top was an amazing touch. One of the best shakes I've ever had in my life. Incredible and definitely worth coming back for!

Tutto Calcio is a cute shop tucked away in Whitestone that has a great staff and interior- shout out to all the real football (ie not American football lol) players that they have up on the walls, super cool concept. However, their items are very much a hit or miss. The coffee and the lobster tails lacked flavor and weren't really great at all. However, the bombolinis were as good as they looked and were absolutely fantastic. Basically, you can either go really wrong or really right in this place and it's up to you to find out!

This is an expresso bar in Whitestone with amazing Italian pastries. Cakes to order too! The place is large, light and airy place with several table to for small gathers or large group of friends to handout. parties are possible. The cannoli cream is superb! They also have a menu for regular food for lunch or snaking too. Typically one can order at the counter and the item can be brought to you or you pick it up yourself.

Let me start by saying that you will probably leave with more than you anticipated buying. This café has such an interesting story. Starting as a place where you could enjoy soccer, simply turned into a wonderful bakery café that has delectable delicacies and many savory choices. If you are a fan of rainbow cookies, I suggest you treat yourself to a rainbow cookie slice, it was amazing . I have to say that everything that I purchased was exceptionally good. They also feature pumpkins a police and you can pick up Bombas - Italian donuts with so many fillings . I tried the pistachio filling, and was not disappointed. I would assume the Nutella filling ones are the most popular. You can also purchase Gelato and pizza! Dinner/dessert in one stop . The café has a really nice sit down table set up .

Tutto Calcio means Everything Football (Soccer to us Yanks), but that's not everything this place does. Although they have some outstanding looking meals, sandwiches and pizza my focus is usually on their outstanding pastries and sweet treats. The cornetto (Italian term for Croissant) are flaky and delicious - especially when they are generously (and I mean generous - these things absolutely nearly exploded with delicious filling) with creamy custards, cannoli cream, or citrus tinged berry preserves which are decadent and worth the caloric price of admission. Their Bombolini - plump little donut spheres filled with various deliciousness as well. These donuts along with their twists have a certain density to the dough and flavor that reminds me of zeppole, but elevated. The cannoli, cartoccio (the plumper cousin of the cannoli) and sfogliatelle are on the money. I haven't tried everything this place offers, but from my experience its all outstanding and certainly puts this place as one of the top Italian bakeries in NYC. They serve real meals here (Giovanna's Kitchen) along with pizza and sandwiches but I confess I have yet to try. Of course perfectly made espresso and other coffee drinks are available. Gelato is available as well. The attractive staff are always so friendly and helpful. Along with the bright colorful interior it always makes me feel really happy coming inside. You should as well - I believe you will feel the same!

Pretty great spot to grab a quality cappuccino. The staff are all fantastic. There are plenty of tables and a few parking spots directly in front. I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here but if you're in the area give these guys a try! Prices are pretty good for the area.

It was so nice out today while visiting some fam in Whitestone - so I came here for some gelato & YUM! Staff is super friendly! Clean environment all together! You walk in & BOOM there's a display of yummy desserts! As you go towards the back, there's food & on the other end, there's another placement of desserts & gelato! Side note - Coffee is also always GREAT & STRONG (which I loveeee) I believe it's imported! The gelato had plenty of flavors to choose from (hazelnut, chocolate, Oreo, vanilla, pistachio, strawberry, etc). Comes in 2 sizes - small or large! I got a large with a scoop of pistachio & a scoop of strawberry! SO TASTY! Hit the spot!!! Prices are totally reasonable as well (for 2 large & 1 small I believe I paid around $17!!!) def a must if you're in town!

Good service and food. I tried the Schiacciata, homemade rice pudding, penne a la vodka and the bombolone and all were very tasty and delicious.

Coffee expressos are excellent. But the food is even better. What a compliment to go with that excellent expresso cappuccinos.

We got a drunken Margherita pizza to share which was the best dish of the evening. The combination of the vodka sauce, mozzarella and basil were delicious. The crust was soft, but the base of the pizza was just crisp enough so it wasn't a floppy slice. Highly recommend. I got a tagliatelle fungi which had mushrooms, garlic and shallots in a cream sauce with truffle oil. It was a large portion which was nice. Overall, the pasta was ok-good. There was a lot of oil on top of the pasta (not sure if it was the truffle or olive oil), but it stuck well to the pasta to the point that the pasta wasn't really absorbing the cream sauce since it was oil slicked. We got a creme brulee for dessert, and it was yummy! Get a window seat for the views, get the pizza, and if the weather's good in summer time, they have a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy. We did have great service in this experience, but the entrees did take awhile to come out. Overall the food was ~3.5 stars (with exception of the pizza being 4.5 stars).

One thing About this place I thought was odd, and I didn't like was that you couldn't get linguini or rigatoni as your side pasta. You had to pick either between spaghetti or penne. My husband and I split the pasta fagioli and my sister had the minestrone soup for our appetizers. WOW the pasta fagioli soup was FANTASTIC! It was one of the best pasta fagioli soups we both ever had! My sister loved the minestrone soup. For dinner we had the red snapper livornese, eggplant parm, and the fried shrimp & calamari. We all loved and raved how good our dinners were all night! The eggplant parm was one of the best we ever had as well! It was so lightly breaded it melted in your mouth. The livornese sauce to the red snapper tasted AMAZING, and fish was so Fresh! This place is no frills in appearance, but the Italian food is authentic and delicious! I highly recommend IL Nocello in Whitestone!

A huge plus is the paid parking lot around the corner with an exit onto 150th St, just a few doors down from the restaurant. Anyone familiar with the area knows street parking can be challenging , so that definitely made things easier. I came here to celebrate a dear friend's milestone birthday, and since she loves Italian food, this was her pick. We started by sharing the fried calamari, which was nicely fried and included both rings and tentacles. Neither of us eat the tentacles, so we pushed those aside. The calamari comes with a choice of mild, medium, or spicy tomato sauce -- we chose medium -- though honestly, I'm happy with just a squeeze of lemon on fried calamari. Each entrée comes with a choice of side dishes, and you can also upgrade both the pasta and sauce options. My friend ordered the Chicken Sorrentino, topped with prosciutto, eggplant, roasted peppers, and melted mozzarella over chicken cutlets. For her side, she upgraded to gnocchi and then upgraded again to Bolognese sauce. I had the Chicken Marsala, which was tender and juicy. Both dishes came with two thin cutlets each, but between the bread, garlic knots, and calamari, we only managed to eat one cutlet apiece and took the rest home. The Marsala sauce was flavorful and tasty. I personally would've loved more mushrooms, but overall it was still very good. I chose roasted potatoes on the side, and from the one bite I managed before getting too full, they were delicious. If you're in the neighborhood -- or even nearby -- this place is definitely worth trying. One thing to note: they only serve beer and wine, no full liquor bar. My Pinot Grigio was decent, and my friend enjoyed a light beer with her meal.
