This is by far the best cheesecake I ever had. I have traveled the world and tried cheesecake from so many cultures and businesses but I always find myself saying that Cascon is still better. I may seem biased because I grew up here and Cascon is the only cheesecake we only purchase. i rarely visited the store because my father is usually the one who picks up goodies from here. Since I moved to FL, I try to enjoy Cascon any time I come back home. We never used to get the pastries but since our favorite pastry place closed years ago, we have been enjoying pastries from Cascon. I was skeptical but they are legit! Napoleans, Eclairs, and rainbow cookies are my favorites, which they usually have in stock here. They are mini sized, which are perfect for my type 1 diabetes! My two favorite cheesecakes here are the plain and Amaretto. My dad and I are the only ones who like the Amaretto so we do not get that one often, unless I'm back at home for a while. I actually have a plain cheesecake in my freezer in FL lol. They do not have a website and the last time I checked, they do not ship. I would probably pay to ship some goods down to FL since I do not get to visit often. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking can sometimes be minimal, especially around the holidays. They also are not open for extended hours so check prior to visiting if you do not live in the area. read more

I've heard so much so I had to stop in - picked up rainbow cookies - both the traditional and cannoli filled - as well as a small Oreo cheesecake. The rainbow cookies were out of this world - especially the traditional which I could eat hundreds of any day of the week...it's exactly what you would want from a rainbow cookie! I called for a Strawberry Shortcake. The girl answered so quickly with yep we have it. I asked if I could order one for the next day, she said no need, it's here. You'd be hard pressed to find a better representative cheesecake in NYC. It can also come marbled or with a few topping choices but who wants to mess with perfection! I bought a strawberry shortcake that was frozen inside while the "whipped cream' was pasty and tasteless, I threw it out to save any family member from eating this horrible cake, so went $35.00. I had purchased the pre-wrapped cookie selection two weeks ago, the cookies were stale and crumbled at the touch. This is why I will go out of my way from here on out to visit both Martha's and Butter Cookie (never disappointed). I really miss Stork's Bakery where quality and selection was vast. Since 1975, Cascon has been providing Queens and beyond with cheesecakes and beyond. I had their cheesecake a couple of years ago but a recent encounter reminded me how superb they really are. I accompanied someone who was picking up a frozen plain cheesecake with blueberry topping. The cheesecake was dense and delicious, and the blueberry added a fruity, colorful touch. The employees were helpful and pleasant. My only regret was not picking up a mini-cheesecake so I could try a different kind; a marble one was calling my name. Next time! read more

Thanks Cascon for a wonderful wedding cake!! They are contracted with Terrace on the Park venue and provided us with a small variety of cake and filling options as well as cake design options. (since it is a contract with a venue, that is probably why we had limited cake options to choose from, which is fine. I believe we could have paid extra for more options). We had a 4 tier cake filled with strawberry creme and chocolate pudding! We picked a very simple cake design that incorporated our wedding colors, navy blue and burgundy red. They were very easy to work with and cake tasting was very quick. After we picked our cake, it was all taken care of from there. Cascon got in touch with Terrace and scheduled delivery on our wedding day. I didn't have to worry about a thing! On our wedding day, the cake was there! After our tasting, we also bought some mini cheesecakes and other pastries. They were pretty good! Definitely recommend Cascon! read more

We bought a Oreo cookie cheesecake for a bday party, we picked up today since we were traveling to NJ to visit. Tonight we had the oreo cheesecake and it was better than I expected. Very creamy, lots of oreo topping and a light chocolate layer crust, definitely need a cup of coffee to wash it all down but it was good. We really want a fresh fruit topping strawberry cheesecake but from the last time we order it, the red topping was extremely sweet and there was no fresh fruit on the cheesecake. I've been here few times and I'm telling you that their cheesecakes are the VERY BEST in the entire New York!! I also tried few other desserts and I'm in love with the store. The service is incredible!! I even came one time late because of traffic, since I came all of the way from Long Island to here and they allow me to buy a cake, the only advice I'm giving from people that wants to come here, come early, since they close pretty early, but it's worth it!! We were around the neighborhood that afternoon and were lucky enough to pick up a Strawberry Cheesecake to celebrate National Cheesecake Day the next day! We shared a 7" Strawberry cheesecake amongst family and friends. The smallest size is 7" for $16. We got Strawberries as topping and loved it! Perfect to feed 5 adults and 1 kid. The next size up is 11" which would have been too big for the amount of people we have. EVEN THE HUSBAND WHO ISN'T A FAN OF CHEESE ATE IT WITH US HEHE #lovehim There are so many different flavors to choose from! I can't wait to try their other flavor cheesecakes! Subsequently, I have tried many of their pastries and cakes and have always been asked by my guests which bakery did I get them from because they taste so good. Cascon also has a selection of sugar free choices that gets raved reviews as well. But the last visit deserves a special mention because in discussing what to get, a man from behind us started a conversation that helped us decide. Unbeknownst to us, he was the owner.
