My go-to order is the Iced Tiramisu Latte, Pistachio and Ricotta Cake, and their Mixed Berry Croffle. The Tiramisu Latte isn't too sweet, which makes it perfect to drink. The Pistachio and Ricotta Cake is light and works well together, despite it being made from ricotta (which is something I usually do not like). I did try their Misty Morning drink, which comprises of pear juice, pear puree, and sparkling water, however, I would skip this as it tasted literally like the pear drink in a can, mixed with sparkling water. Bumping up my rating of 18.5 gram coffee since I've been here quite a few times since my last review. I'll begrudgingly admit that despite the higher price, they have one of the better strawberry matcha lattes. Other drinks here are good too - thoroughly enjoyed the hot misu latte (though I'd ask for less sugar next time) and the drip coffee. I didn't love their virgin mojito though - something about the syrup was a little offputting. It's a great working cafe - ambiance is nice, playlist is usually good, and there are outlets everywhere. This place is fairly new and found it while in the area. There is a lot of seating inside and the place is nicely decorated and well lit. My drink was ready super quick. I got the iced matcha latte and while it was good, I did wish the matcha was stronger because I could taste the whole milk that was used. There's dalgona coffees, strawberry matcha lattes, Einspanner and grapefruit and orange Biancos--all drinks familiar to a Korean cafe. I got the tiramisu iced latte, which I wasn't particularly blown away by. The tiramisu taste was lacking and for the price I paid (almost 8 dollars for a drink), I most likely would not return. We happened to be near Murray Hill and decided to give 18.5 gram coffee a try! First of all, the interior deco is super cute - and you can tell this is a popular spots to study/get work done! What draws my attention is the menu - besides the typical cafe items, they have some fun drinks that aren't found at most cafes! We ended up ordering the orange Bianca because the staff said it was one of the top sellers. I have seen coffee with citrus pairing, but to have a latte with orange juice in it definitely makes me wonder how it will be like. At first sip we honestly found it quite interesting - but the flavor grew on us as we had more sips. That's more expensive than even Starbucks and without sugar or any substitute milk either. The price point in general seems a bit steep for the Murray hill/flushing area. Seems more like Williamsburg prices with out the "freshness". The dalgona was good but not worth $8ish. Not a place I'd go again as it felt like very generic coffee. With a lot of new coffees popping up 18.5 stands out for using real fruits in their fruity drinks and having fresh ingredients but I don't know if the taste of the drink justified the price tag I ordered the following : Dalgona coffee with oat milk : 7/10 not sure what makes this a dalgona coffee since the basis of dalgona is usually a thick layer of coffee cream but I think this was just an espresso shot on top of milk so more of a macchiato, it was cool that they added honey comb on top and it was very aesthetically pleasing but it mainly tasted like oat milk. Was really excited for 18.5 gram as it had just opened up nearby, but I was really disappointed by the drinks here. For me, food and drinks are definitely one of my biggest considerations when choosing a cafe, but this cafe did not deliver. The interior of this cafe is cute, seats aren't too uncomfortable, the air conditioning is turned on to my perfect temperature, music levels aren't too loud, and there's great natural lighting. It definitely has potential to be a good cafe, but unfortunately the drinks fall short. While we've been here twice, we've tried about 4 different drinks here. The Misu latte, tiramisu latte, cafe latte, and the strawberry matcha latte. All of the drinks were pretty subpar, and what's interesting is that the strawberry matcha latte had a metallic aftertaste and didn't taste like matcha. I would actually say that this drink was awful. The cafe latte was okay. It was unsweetened, which might be standard, but it was also followed by a bitter and metallic aftertaste. I love fizzy drinks, especially ones that are flavored by real fruit. And this is the place to get them. Bloody sunset is fizzy and made with real grapefruit. This is my go to right now. Virgin mojito is refreshing and cooling just the right way you need in summer. Get the Orange Bianco. It's expresso with milk and orange and wait I know it sounds weird but trust me.
