This is a hidden gem. I love the fruity drinks and coffee here. It's got a place to sit, lots of seats and benches and wifi! A great place to relax for a bit. I like the matcha latte and the fruity sodas. I like the white peach and passion fruit flavor. They have a selection of desserts if you want to try. I haven't tried the tofu cheesecake yet. The tiramisu is great. It's located right in the front before the restaurant which makes great flavorful vegetarian food. Give them a try if you have a vegetarian friend or feel like being adventurous. The staff is friendly and have great suggestions. It's located 1 block away from main Street. You'd never know it's there but it is. Definitely check them out. It's a great place to get a drink and cool down from the hot weather. And it's close to the hospital if you're looking for better drinks and food. read more

The cafe is spacious with plenty of seating and free WiFi. It's trendy and clean. The worker brings your drinks to your table. I deducted a star for their drinks--the quality depends on what you order. Most of their drinks are really nice, but the matcha latte I got had too much milk and barely any matcha flavor. The taste was disappointing for the price ($6.5) but the size wasn't bad. Overall a good place to hang out and get work out. read more

The interior and customer experience is quite nice. The layout is considerate of various customers needs, like there's solo table/ group tables/ low tables for just talking. The pour over coffee tastes great and has that traditional cafe atmosphere, different from franchised cafes like Starbucks/TLJ/ Paris baguette. Baked goods offered is huge from cakes to pies to cookie. And it's attached to a restaurant too. Needless to say I'll will be going back and adding it to my go to cafes Thanks for reading my cafe review Ted talk read more

Unprofessional and unhygienic. As a coffee shop lover, this is the nastiest place I've been to. Asked for less caramel to lessen sweetness of latte. Turned out it was a bit too bland so I asked for the regular caramel amount instead ... and the worker said it would be an extra $2.... Even though we already paid for it and wasn't asking for anything extra. Seemed to be confusion, fine. Another staff member then proceeds to stir the straw in the drink with her hands (no gloves) and passes it back with the straw still in it? No body wants to drink out of a straw you rubbed your hands all over. Nearly $7 for this unhygienic practice. We got 2 lattes and a tiramisu cake and overall felt gross about the entire encounter. read more

This cafe is so cute and nice, I'm surprised that there aren't that many people or reviews because they definitely deserve all the love! I live in deep Flushing so there really aren't any coffee shops near me other than this one. I came here for the first time today to study and I'm glad I did! The environment is nice; it's a restaurant and cafe combined in one and it isn't too loud. There's also soft christmas piano music playing so it was still possible to study while other people were enjoying lunch. The whole place is also so cute, with christmas lights, plants, and small fake flowers on the tables! I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and despite being extremely tired, it helped me study for a few hours! It was really good and was enough to keep me caffeinated but not too much that I would get heart palpitations from the caffeine. After a few hours, I also ordered the vegan walnut carrot cake! I love carrot cake but it's hard to find them without leaving Flushing so I was so excited to see it in the display! The carrot cake was really good: it wasn't dry or too sweet! If you don't want typical cafe sweets and pastries, they also have their restaurant food that you can order as well! Overall, this is the perfect place for studying or just for lunch! I'm glad to have found this place for finals week read more

Great ambience and vibe, very clean, and gorgeous decorations! I got their iced latte and it was veryyy good and the right balance of espresso and milk taste. They have a restaurant section in their back as well but we stayed in their cafe section and sat on these comfy outdoorsy chair! Highly recommend and definitely come for their drinks and desserts in the cafe section, next time I'll come by to try their restaurant food! read more

We arrived near the cafe's closing time. The staff was still very energetic in serving us. The atmosphere was the best part. The cafe has a laid-back, lounge vibe with great lighting. I didn't want to get up and leave once we got our lattes and cheesecakes. read more

1. Great place to study: Hidden gem offers plenty of seating, great wifi, and relaxing environment 2. fair pricing: Prices were relatively fair, averaging around 5.00-6.00 per drink. Latte's were made fast and had the perfect amount of sweetness. 3. Respectful staff: Bought one drink and stayed for 5 hours doing work without any distractions and without staff asking me to leave. 4. Clean: looks relatively new/renovated. read more

Never did I think that there would be an aesthetic high quality cafe coming in to my little neighborhood! Bodhi Cafe is a must try! I got the hot matcha almond milk latte, which I highly recommend! Sandra, who was very informed, rang me up and even offered me a sample of their flakey yummy croissant! There are PLENTY of outlets, so you never have to scramble around looking for one. They just opened like two days ago, but honestly my taste buds have been ~blown away~. Their mini cream puffs are to die for- it has like a pineapple topping popular in lots of Chinese bakery goods & their opera cake is great for chocolate lovers! Will be a regular here! read more

It seemed like a nice place, and maybe they were understaffed, which is why I gave a two stars. There was no one in sight and only came to the front where you order for phone calls. When they did come to the front they were rude and left immediately afterwards. I didn't really try anything after 20 minutes, so I left. read more

I was an avid fan of their previous Bodai Vegetarian restaurant that was on Main St. Flushing. So, when we found out they moved and changed their name to Bodhi Cafe, we were thrilled. Not sure if they plan to bring back their dim sum menu, but it wasn't available when we ordered take out. I hope they do, coz their spinach rice rolls, fried taro, roast pork buns... oh wait, there's just too many to list... they're all so YUMMY! We got a few items from their lunch menu, I forget the names-something with curry and tofu skin, mabo tofu, chow fun... all did not disappoint! If you're reading this Bodhi, please bring back dim sum! And my favorite vegetarian shark's fin w egg whites and bean sprouts -the BEST!! PLEASE! lol read more

Oh my God, Bodhi Cafe is simply pretty darn cool. It's beautiful and everyone who works here seems like they are very proud of it. Every thing that we ordered was extremely fresh and delicious. The customer service was great and helpful. Bodhi Cafe is brilliant. read more

Here to update my review to say that the tiramisu is decent and their matcha (iced and hot) never failed me; you can actually taste the matcha and it's not watered down or overpowered by the milk. They offer soy and almond milk as alternatives to dairy in your drinks. Music is calm, jazzy, and not too loud so you have the perfect ambience to do laptop work if needed. Plenty of outlets, seating, and again, customer service is consistent & friendly! And if you ever get hungry, they have a joint vegetarian restaurant in the back that you can order from. This cafe is underrated in my opinion; more people should come here. Be advised that they have a $10 card limit, so either bring cash or a friend to buy coffee for. read more

Absolutely loved this place!! I was super excited to see a cafe open up in the more residential part of Flushing, and since it was only a short walk away I had to check it out. The cafe itself is very pretty with a minimalist feel and the decor was cute. I also loved the seating area which is on a sort of elevated platform- very cool! The service was lovely, we were helped by a young man and young woman at 6pm today and they were both so kind and answered our questions regarding the pastries and gave us recommendations. We actually took the woman's recommendation of trying the vegan chocolate cake - it was incredible!! So rich and tasted fresh. We also had the white peach oolong tea which was beautifully fragrant and perfectly made. I will definitely be frequenting this place for sure! read more

The new location with its new renovation looks great. Brand new makeover but same delicious vegetarian taste. Took my new co worker whom is a vegetarian as well here for his bday. He loved it. The waitress was friendly and very helpful with my request. Definitely will be back another time next year. Hopefully again before the year ends. Their new tea line was delightful as well. Ordered the rose tea and lychees. Both were great. read more

The food here is over rated, and over priced I had the Vegetable General Tso's Chicken and the Vegetable Lamb with Garlic Sauce for $55.85 (small portions for the money) I can get a much better plate for $11.75 at a local Health Food Store that serve Organic hot cooked vegan meals, thought I would try something different based on the reviews bad decision on my part, gotta stick to what I know. read more

Didn't serve us water until we asked (every other table had water). Tables were dirty and sticky. Food was okay, drinks and dessert were decent. Force you to tip after you already tipped??? After we paid the bill and tipped, the server (bald guy) literally came up to us and would not leave us alone till we gave more money to tip and told us it's obligatory. We gave him more so he could leave us alone, absolutely terrible. How do you force customers to tip read more
