Lots of experimentation (which I get may not be for everyone) and varieties with matcha. I absolutely love going to this place when they get into holiday season mode--tree is up, and holiday specials are out, and they have the coziest environment during after-hours. I've heard about the Elm Roastery before and I'm so glad this is part of the first cafes I've tried in 2026. The inside was so nice and so cozy with some window seats in the front and chairs in the back. My friend and I went in to get some tea and they were served in a little tea pot to pour in your own cup. They also do refills on it and the staff were so kind. Fun fact: if you come on a Friday and Saturday after hours around 8pm, it turns into a little bar and can be perfect to enjoy a little drink at. They also have some signature cocktails and I will definitely go back to try some! They have lots of yummy food items as well, their egg sandwich with added prosciutto was killer. There is lots of seating inside, so you'll for sure have a seat and maybe even an outlet for work! Ordered a large drip coffee with cream and it was good. I come back for the drip coffee again. The food item ordered since it was early in the morning. Got the Avocado toast $10.50. It was one slice of hard toast cut in half on top of the toast was arugula with sliced avocado and topped with red onions sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning dashed with oil. Toast was so hard that I had to dunk it into the coffee to soften it up. Avocado was fresh and the arugula too. Next time I go for their croissant. Staff was friendly. Bathroom clean. The hot drinks seem To be pretty good, but I don't tend to get the same luck with their iced. And feel like for the price you're paying, it could taste a little better. I got an iced strawberry matcha with Oatmilk and paid almost 10 bucks for it. With the economy i get things are getting more expensive, but I was slightly disappointed with how it tasted. The strawberry flavor didn't really blend well with the matcha, and left a weird aftertaste. For reference, I ordered the same exact thing yesterday somewhere else and paid around 7, and they seemed to use a house made strawberry flavor that made it taste really nice. Other than that, employees are nice and the café ambiance is decent, but it can get cramped sometimes, so you may need to wait for a seat. The cookies never made their appearance. My latte order was called. So after taking a couple of sips, I used my teacher-voice, "Young man, my cookies?" He then proceeded to put two cookies in the toaster and replied, "You want them toasted, yes?" I calmly restated I did not. I had tipped well, as I am a generous tipper, and I understand the young man may have been frazzled because the lady before me was attempting to place a large order for Saturday and asking endless questions BUT the young man had already gotten his superior to engage with her.
