Everything I've tried so far has been fresh as well. The one important thing to note though is that the flan cheesecake is amazing (who even came up with that haha) & I do think the textures do mix well BUT only when eaten fresh. The cake itself is light and sweet without being cloyingly sweet and the cream is not as heavy as American or Italian style bakeries. We also ordered their Filipino style empanadas with different meat fillings, 2 each of chicken, pork & beef. If you buy 6, you get a bonus empanada, but they threw in 2 extra ones this time! Each meat flavor comes in a slightly different shape to tell them apart. They are baked and not fried like some other meat pies, so the crust is more pie-dough-like instead of crispy or flaky layered. The chicken empanada is just like a handheld pot pie and tastes exactly like one, too!
