It tastes like they skimp on the fruit. I could barely taste any pomelo. For around $9, I expect a bit more fruit like in other boba tea places. At 70% sugar, their recomended amount, I tasted more sugar flavor than mango. Egg tarts: Seems rather tiny for the price. You get a lot of crispy crust. Filling is on the heavy egg texture/ flavor. Personally, I prefer a lighter, more delicate filling. For those of you that prefer crust over filling, then this tart is for you. Ambiance. Looks like any other boba spot. A small amount of stool seating. And a bit of bench seating in the window. Close to the movie theater and small mall area. Service is okay. You can use the kiosks if you prefer.

With so many places to grab a drink in this lively Chinatown neighborhood, I was happy to discover this cozy little gem! The shop is small, quiet, and peaceful, making it a nice place to stop for a coffee break. If you're planning to sit and enjoy your drink, I'd recommend visiting with a small group of friends or family, as the space is limited. I ordered two Vietnamese coffees , and they were SO GOOD! The coffee was rich, delicious, and generously made with condensed milk. I enjoyed it so much that I came back for the next two days in a row. That alone says a lot about how much I loved their coffee! One thing to note is that the Vietnamese coffee is premade, so you may not be able to customize the sweetness or other options. When ordering through the self-service kiosk, you're required to create an account. I wish there were a guest checkout option, especially for visitors who are just passing through. If you prefer to pay with cash, you can order and pay directly at the register, where card payments are also accepted. I believe there may be a discount of around 5% when paying at the register, but I'd recommend confirming this with the staff. **Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping by this little coffee spot if you're visiting Flushing!** If you love Vietnamese coffee and enjoy discovering hidden gems, this place is worth checking out. I came back three days in a row, and I'd happily visit again!

We ordered: - coconut frappe: the coffee and coconut have to be mixed to taste better. It was a slushy but had good coffee flavor and not too sweet. It's a great option to try the coffee but if you don't want to too strong, very enjoyable. - egg cream coffee: the egg cream was really good and the coffee was milky but strong. Really good option to try if you enjoy viet coffee with a sweet cream top. The egg cream tastes more unique than other places I've tried. The amount of cream top is generous. The only downside was that it was too much ice and the staff said there was no option to customize. Not pictured but we went back another time to try the black sesame cream and it was soo good, def my fave from the drinks I've tried here. The black sesame was thick and had a strong nutty sesame flavor! Would def recommend trying this place if you're craving some viet coffee (or tea) with unique flavors!

From dessert options like croffles, cakes, sandwiches, and drinks available, there seems to be plenty of options available for everyone. My go-to order is the Iced Tiramisu Latte, Pistachio and Ricotta Cake, and their Mixed Berry Croffle. The Tiramisu Latte isn't too sweet, which makes it perfect to drink. The Pistachio and Ricotta Cake is light and works well together, despite it being made from ricotta (which is something I usually do not like). I did try their Misty Morning drink, which comprises of pear juice, pear puree, and sparkling water, however, I would skip this as it tasted literally like the pear drink in a can, mixed with sparkling water. Staff members are pretty prompt in taking your order. I would continue coming here when I am in the area.

I got the Apple Guanyin Iced Tea since it was a drink I haven't seen in a tea shop. It was sweet and refreshing with a nice apple and tea flavor. The drink is more apple-forward with some tea coming through. If you prefer more of a fruit flavor over the tea flavor of a fruit tea, this would be to your liking. I'd definitely order this again! It's a small shop with only a couple of seats, so it's more of a grab and go spot. With only two workers, service was a bit slow. I think it took around 15-20 minutes to get my order. Ten Ren walked, so that boba giants like Molly Tea, HeyTea, and Tiger Sugar could run in NYC today. If you're an NYC kid, you'll know that Ten Ren has stood the test of time over the decades--and hopefully will continue to. I've been to Ten Ren in Taiwan, and I can say that even with the abundance of tea shops over there, they are one of the very best ones around. Their loose-leaf teas (non-bagged) continue to be some of the highest quality I've ever had. Of course, don't expect a ton of that with the sugary drinks, but at least you'll taste the tea. Some of my faves are their slushes - their strawberry milk ice is like a shaved ice in a cup, and usually my go-to. I also love their kumquat ginseng drink--you'll definitely taste the ginseng, which they also sell. Overall, I think the prices here are still very fair, given inflation and what the other places nearby are charging. Cash only.
