Quite filling -- the red beans almost make this dessert a meal. - Peach Gum Resin Lotus Seed Fresh Milk 桃胶莲子鲜奶: $12.99, with Oat Milk, 75¢ extra; total $14.96 with tax. Makkee's desserts seem to use higher quality ingredients than neighboring dessert chains -- the peach gum is here is a deep amber hue, compared with a much lighter shade elsewhere. Seating is comfortable. Most of the tables have magnetic surfaces. Makkee Dessert is in somewhat of a mobile data dead zone, at least for Verizon users, despite the store's proximity to the 37th Avenue entrance of Tangram Mall. The milk base was completely frozen. Although I think the combination of the sticky rice and mango was good, the dessert overall was lack-luster.
