Mango Dew Smoothie Fruit Tea ( L)
    Lily L.

I think tea pulse is one of my top three bubble tea places currently opened in New York. I am so glad that they keep expanding because it feels like I can find them anywhere I go. This time I tried the Mango Dew Smoothie Fruit Tea and their Guava Lemonade (not depicted). Both of these drinks were delicious as always. I haven't had a bad drink from them to this day. The Mango Dew Smoothie Fruit Tea was not too sweet with small chunks of sweetened mango and a mellow coconut base. The only thing I wish this drink had was some sago but that is just a personal preference. The Guava Lemonade was super refreshing. I think more places are doing guava flavored drinks these days and I am really glad because it is definitely a refreshing tea flavor. The only thing about this one is that I do recommend around 70% sugar. I am not someone who likes my drinks super sweet and only accidentally ordered it with the 70% but it was perfect this way. The service is always nice because you just order from a kiosk which I actually prefer because it gives me a chance to think my drink order through without feeling rushed.

It used to be Bing Ling Tea here but they closed a while back. I'm happy another tea spot opened up. I had the iced guava milk drink with 70% sugar and it was surprisingly, pretty good. Not too sweet, a little creamy, kind of in between a milk shake and a tea drink. We also ordered the cloud lemon tart and pastel de nata. While I didn't try the latter, the cloud lemon tart was alright, thick and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's a quick treat, just a little messy with the flakes.

Egg Tarts: $3.50 each; $3.81 with tax. Six for $17.50; $19.05 with tax -- $3.18 per tart with tax.

Tea Pulse 悸動 recently opened a location in Fresh Meadows, in the former Bing Ling Tea Shop space. We visited during a grand-opening day to take advantage of a buy-one-get-one offer. However, everyone else seemed to have the same thought. The store was so crowded it took my companion about two hours fifteen minutes to receive our order, due to kiosk ordering and volume issues. Egg Tarts: We tried their regular ($3.50; $$3.81 with tax) and Lemon Cloud Egg Tarts ($3.99; $4.34 with tax). Tea Pulse's egg tarts are smaller in diameter but taller than their competition. The batches we had were very eggy in flavor, had crispy, flaky crusts, and were heavy for a Chinese dessert. Of the two flavors, we preferred the Lemon Cloud Egg Tart, because the lemon flavors muted the "egginess" of the tart. The egg tarts from the Lily Bloom bakery chain deliver 80% of the goodness of Tea Pulse's egg tarts at half the price. The egg tarts from NaiSnow are better, though at an incremental cost. Mango Dew Smoothie Fruit Tea ($8.55; $9.31 with tax): We got the BOGO offer for this. The flavors of this drink, made with mango, coconut milk, mochi, and pomelo seemed muddied together into a non-distinctive syrupy-sweet drink, perhaps because staff were rushed during the grand-opening event.

Happy to see TeaPulse expanding. This location is convenient with the shared parking lot and is right across from the AMC movie theater. You can order at one of the two kiosks or with the cashier. There are a few small tables if you want to hang around. Service was friendly. I dunno why they have donuts in their signs, as they don't have donuts, though they do have Egg Tarts. They have a fairly new flavor of Lemon Cloud, which I picked up to try. I enjoyed the lemony topping to the egg tart, which was not too sweet. The marshmallow didn't really add much to the tart; seems more like an aesthetic choice. The crust is very crisp and flaky. I prefer this to the regular Egg Tart, which is mostly just eggy flavor. I like the Jumbo sized drinks. Note: you cannot adjust the ice level - it fills up about half the cup. I like to get 30% sugar to add that bit of sweetness to balance out the tartness of the fruits. The Strawberry Lemon has actual chunks of strawberries and lemon slices! Hopefully they maintain their consistency. They did recently come out with their coffee drinks, so will be back to try those.

The store was having their soft opening. So they had promotional items and giveaways (some discounts, tote bag and diffuser if you post). The lemon and regular egg tarts were very good. Flaky and full of custard. Would get again. The boba and tiramisu latte were okay. Probably won't get bubble tea from here again and just go to another spot.

I'm super excited that there is a Teapulse in Fresh Meadows now! The Jasmine Jumbo Blast was super refreshing--strong jasmine aroma without being bitter, and perfectly balanced sweetness. The Brown Sugar Boba was rich and comforting, with deep caramelized brown sugar flavor and a nice chew from the boba. Don't sleep on the egg tarts either--flaky crust with a smooth, creamy custard center, a great add-on to the drinks. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Definitely will come back for the lemon one.

Tachi orchid, the brown sugar was overpowering. There wasn't too much orchid , flowery taste, and also they did not do this drink hot. Usually my experiences with tea Pulse is good, but I did not like to drink lol. I've probably been here at least five times, I would come here more if I lived in the area, but I don't. But this is the only drink that I did not like from them. I think it might've tasted better hot but they did not serve it hot. I would recommend getting a different orchid tea option because this one just wasn't that great.

Service was pretty quick and the drinks are def worth the value. Would always come here for the giant lime green tea for about 5-6$. There's also a nice sitting area and worth the price if you're in the area.

BOGO deal happening right now until 1/11 for their grand opening! Also buy 5 egg tarts get one free! But be prepared for long wait time. Not sure if it was because of the ongoing promotion but they were so backed up in orders I waited close to half an hour for two drinks. The light jasmine milk tea is indeed light not too caffeinated. Would love to come back to try newer menu items since I'm a huge fan of their jumbo sized fruit teas! Staff was patient but was visibly overwhelmed. It's also a tiny space so it was super stuffy in there even though they had a max occupancy sign of 20 people.

Always love Teapulse quality. Soft opening now with 12 % off all drinks. Free diffuser stone when sign up for their free reward program. Free tote for posting on social media in the same day. They also sell coffee products at this location. We ordered mango pomelo drink and brown sugar boba tea. Both are very good.

Annoyed, grand opening and they are out of their normal gift with purchase items and not only that their promo message for the grand opening never even mentioned that the prize drawing is first 300 customer only.

    Teapulse fresh meadows go now!

Best of all, their specialty coffee and tea are surprisingly affordable--most drinks are only around $5 to $7, which is a steal compared to many boba and tea shops. The space is spacious, comfy, and beautifully decorated, with free Wi-Fi and clean bathrooms. Their playlist is very nostalgic, playing songs by Jay Chou, Khalil Fong, and Fiona Sit. Perfect for working, grabbing a coffee, and picking up flowers all in one stop. *Golden Osmanthus Jasmine $6.5 I love light, floral teas, and this one was perfect. It is a blend of jasmine tea and osmanthus topped with cream foam. Delicate, refreshing, and not too sweet. *Black Sesame Latte $6 The black sesame cream foam was so nutty that I literally scooped it up with a spoon. The flavor turned mild once mixed with the espresso and milk though. *Matcha White Chocolate $7 A Christmas special! I was so excited to see they serve "matcha donut latte" which is quite popular last year. The vibrant green matcha latte is topped with a ring of whipped cream and funfetti. A very warm and cozy drink. *Warm Tofu Pudding $6 This tofu pudding comes with either ginger or osmanthus syrup. I added lychee jelly, mixed fruit jelly, and red bean. Warm, cozy, and especially comforting on a cold day.

I was actually at the area to grab a couple of other items, including bubble tea and found out that they were having a promotion for their app. If you download their app and log in using your phone number, your first drink from the shop is $0.99! I took this opportunity to sign up right away and try their Strawberry Crema Latte. This was definitely the right move! We ordered this as 50% sugar (I usually drink my bubble tea with 30% sugar) and it was perfectly sweet. I would definitely recommend trying this if you like strawberry milk, the 50% sugar also allowed for the bitterness of the coffee to sneak up as well which gave it the prefect balance of lightly sweet and bitter. It tasted like a melted Strawberry Coffee iced cream. The service was very quick and I would definitely be back to try more drink items!

Their bingsoo is always so fluffy which I really like and the mango flavor is super strong as well so it doesn't feel like I'm having plain bingsoo once I get to the middle. The croffles from here are always sooo good. They're so chewy and warm which was super comforting for the cold weather that has been going on recently. This place is self service so the only interaction you have with the staff is when ordering. They are always super patient and helpful. The cute cafe has quite a bit of seats as well but because it is pretty popular around the area, it does fill up quite quickly.
