I heard a lot about Tea By Do from Chinese people online, so I was really surprised to see they had opened a store front in Flushing. It is a tiny store, hardly big enough to fit the line of patrons placing and waiting for orders. They also have limited menu items, though I wasn't sure if that was true for all locations or if it was that they were launching only certain drinks to begin with. I ordered a cold jasmine milk tea without any toppings as I was trying to have just a little sweet something for dessert. It came in a hot cup, which alarmed me, but it indeed was cold. I think maybe because I had opted for the "no ice" options and they didn't want it to looked like the drink amount was small? The packaging was very cute. The tea was really nice and fragrant. I got 30% sugar and it was plenty sweet. I do love taro, so I think next time I pass, I will try the taro bubbles.

First weekend opening and they had a but one get one free deal. Excited to try we waited in the long line only to find out the mango pomelo safi ran out and we would need to wait another 40 minutes. Boo hoo for first weekend opening and service. The place is trending like other tea place where you order, wait, pickup & go. Small space to wait. I hope they have an. App that would inform tho the wait time and readiness of the order. The place be only has 1 table with bench that probably fits 3 people. Decided to order their signature taro ball milk tea. After about 10 minutes, we got it drinks. Final verdict: ordinary like other milk tea. Taste more milk than tea. The taro ball is chewy but pairs ok with milk tea. Will not order again. May come back to try mango pomelo sago but will not come back otherwise.

Finally came to try here. Was surprised the drinks were pretty good. The milk tea you can taste tea quality flavor. The mango coconut here taste the less artificial comparing to all the other bbt places around. Not sure how to explain it just taste very fresh along with the grape drink. It's my new go to spot when I am in flushing

Saw and heard good things. Unfortunately subpar. Sure I came pretty late so they had run out of boba already. I got the holiday drink. It tasted good but little to no tea for the price I got. I also got a free little Christmas gift since I upgraded to a large. The cup itself was really nice.

TeaByDo grand opening 10/31-11/2 in Flushing! BOGO special on 6 select drinks through 11/2 and you get a scratch card for a prize per receipt. No seatings inside. I had the grape jasmine tea smoothie with jelly. This drink has bits of real grape in it too. It's very refreshing. You can lower the sugar to at most 30%, but it can't be no sugar. My friend had the taro ball milk tea with 30% sugar. It's good if you like milk tea on the more milky side. The taro balls had a good chewiness to it. The blue panda logo is cute.

There is a poster for $100 gift cards with a $15 bonus, think you might get an even bigger bonus if you pay with cash. I get the large with zero sugar reg ice and this is the quintessential spring drink, it's not too sweet, it has a nice soothing floral flavor, it's not really a fancy drink but something I can picture drinking on a nice hot day. Mango Coconut Sago- I am old enough to remember this being a dessert in Flushing dessert shops but they offer it here in drink form and it works. I love that it is not over the top sweet and I love the overall flavor of this drink, the crushed ice makes for a nice refreshing drink.

Light and refreshing fruit teas are here to stay! The honey osmanthus is like nothing I've ever had at other boba tea shops (in a good way) and stood out the most. I would totally get it again, except it is a little on the pricy end so maybe not too often. The shop itself is on a side street and quite lovely inside with lots of seating and huge windows. It was a huge reprieve to be in here away from the snow storms this year and it's a cute place to hang out while sipping on some yummy drinks.

Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.

The texture was right amount of chewy. I ordered their signature brown sugar milk, brown sugar milk tea and dalgona coffee boba milk. The brown sugar boba milk tea was my favorite. Everything I've had so far has been delicious, not too sweet, a generous portion, & actually never too long of a wait. Probably the longest was 15 minutes. All the teas in the area are $7.50 - 9 & very Jasmine green tea-focused, but I'm happy with HeyTea (M-lly Tea & Tea Sch-lar were fine. Maybe HeyTea markets their drinks better?) HeyTea drinks have good flavor, quality ingredients, and well-crafted & executed layers. Now I understand why they're so popular & glad I didn't come sooner because my habit would have been even worse. I've had these (less sweet, less ice): (all have a green tea base) - Jasmine Cloud King (the OG) - Jasmine Matcha Cloud King - Crisp Grape Boom (a bit slushy, bits of real red grape) - Mango Coconut Sago (perfect dessert, a traditional Cantonese soup dessert) Like the tiny sago boba instead of the regular size. Coconut square jellies too. No caffeine version available. - Blue Coconut Matcha Cloud Still have to try a Matcha one. The shop is a good size with a lot of waiting room. 1 table & a high counter at the front window. I've seen a small group of professionals either de-briefing or meeting over tea. But the space isn't really conducive for long-term use or work. The staff seem pretty relaxed, most are bilingual, & they seem like seasoned baristas. Proud of what they make. One suggestion /recommendation would be to move the TV screen with the order numbers to a more visible spot. It's currently against the right side wall with an overhang slightly blocking it. Maybe this angle disperses the crowd though?
