Mango strawberry smoothie
Eterna T.

Sometimes I have a negative food experience so I write Yelp reviews to remind myself not to repeat the same mistake. This convenient location has attractive prices (I paid under $7 for my mango strawberry smoothie), but unfortunately this drink earns my least favorite drink of the year award. It's low quality, icy/watery, lacks any milk and runs syrupy sweet despite requesting low sugar. The pearls are perfectly fine. But this drink reminds me of the low quality stuff I used to get from Quickly in high school, before the proliferation of premium tea shops. I remember enjoying Tbaar in Elmhurst in the past so I might just skip the smoothie menu here at the Flushing Roosevelt/Main Corner.

Got a bunch of drinks here with friends and they surprisingly didn't take that long to make everything. Our drinks were still cold and refreshing. Great convenient location in flushing if you're looking to get bubble milk tea or fruit tea.

Fresh Passion Fruit Tea drink My favorite, almost forgot to take a picture before drinking it all.

When I was living in Flushing, TBaar was my favorite juice place. There are a variety of tea, juice and vegetable juices option. My favorite is the fresh Passion Fruit Rea drink. Passion Fruit Tea has small chopped apple, strawberries, mango, Pineapple, and mixed coconut jelly. I have tried other drink options from TBaar previously too. The coconut smoothie, Watermelon smoothie and Taro drink. Bubble tea is available for any Bubble Tea lovers too. Everything is always made fresh. The best is knowing no extra added sugar or syrup to really taste your drink. When you're in the mood for a small piece of a crepe cake or matcha cake slice, it is also on the menu too. They display their fruits, vegetables, and more to be able to watch how it is done. Service is patient and always done correctly. TBaar is right on busy main street, by the subways, foot traffic and busy cars. It is worth stopping by and getting a refreshing drink. Until next time!

Mango orange smoothie (~$7)

Didn't try the bubble tea but got an orange mango smoothie, which was a little sweet but still pretty good. ~$7 for a large.

Milk green tea and Mr. Green smoothie
Katie L.

Friendly, helpful service at TBaar manned by one guy who takes orders, answers all questions, and makes the drinks. I got the TBaar Milk Green Tea with bubbles. The jasmine tea base was potent and shined through in every sip, but still had a lovely creamy lightness. Also tried the Mr. Green Smoothie, which could've benefited from some added sweetness like honey or agave. Very healthy tasting with kale, spinach, banana, etc. TBaar is great for bubble tea cravings in the evening when many other places are closed in Flushing.

Pineapple Drink ($7)

There's a lot of options in the menu from Bubble Tea, Lemonade, Mojitos, Fresh Juice, to Smoothies, which was a bit overwhelming. I was in the mood for the Pineapple drink and it was refreshing, but a bit too floral in taste for me. I drank half and saved the other half for later. Notes: The take-out window is convenient. I really should have tried the Crepe Cakes so I just need to come back and try!

Best dragon fruit drink. So refreshing

Best drink shop ever for me. I tried dragon fruit tea and berry mix mojito. It was so good. Too bad they don't have one in Virginia. I would drink it everyday.

Allyson B.

I love their refreshing drinks and always try something new whenever I get TBaar. This time I tried the summer dream that has carrot, orange, and watermelon. It's my new favorite!

matcha crepe cake (so good)
Stephen L.

The matcha crepe cake was the only I ordered here and was so amazing I was only able to take a picture if a mostly eaten crepe cake. For a slice at $7, it was pretty good and almost like lady M, but of course not as good. But for the convenience of not having to go to Manhattan for a slice made it worthwhile. I will definitely come back here next time I visit this food court. What a nice way to end a meal!! I did inquire about their whole cakes, which has 10 slices each. The mango and the matcha are $65 each and the durian is $95 for the whole cake, again, 10 slices. They really should have the pricing of the crepe cakes on their menu, because that information was no where to be found. But the staff members there were nice enough to give me that information. I highly recommend trying a slice of their crepe cake if you're in the area, you will not be disappointed.

Brown Sugar Matcha(22oz) Thai Ice Tea
Nisha F.

I always pass by this boba spot and I finally ordered from there and I'm so happy I did because I think I found my new go to drink. I tried the brown sugar matcha, which is one of the newer drinks they offer, and I loved it. I regret not getting it in a large! My boyfriend tried the Thai tea and he liked his drink as well

Juice menu

There are three Tbaar locations on two blocks of Roosevelt Ave in downtown Flushing. Tbaar is my new favorite juice and bubble tea shop. I tried to find a good juice bar in Flushing that sells quality fresh pressed juices and Tbaar delivers. I also tried the taro bubble tea and it was the way I liked it, smooth with less ice and not too much sugar. They don't water down their drinks and it's just the right amount of ice to keep the drink cold.

Got the Super Green juice. Everything was juiced right in from of me. Expected it to be a little more on the tasty side, perhaps sweet and tart from the apple and lemon juice, but tasted a lot like just drinking tart greens. Not very fresh greens unfortunately, but hey at least I'm getting nutrients! No Apple Pay availability just yet.

Thai milk tea & passionfruit juice.
Fateha A.

This is the only bubble tea place in flushing where I can find Thai milk tea (thank God). The Thai milk tea was decent, sweet, not too strong. The employee asked if i wanted whipped cream on top & who can refuse that? Nobody ever asked me if i wanted whipped cream at any other bubble tea place. That was an awesome 1st. The passionfruit juice was slightly tart & bitter & it came with cubed fruits. Does anyone know why they closed down all the Quickly locations in flushing tho? That was my favorite bubble tea place cuz it was so quick.

Seeing as her birthday is next month, we wanted to go ahead and try to go to a tea house and see if she enjoys it enough to invite a few friends to our home next month and replicate the event.. now it is on the pricey side, but we thought it would be a special day just for three of us. We not only called for reservations, but then arrived early and although we were sat, we did not get any fresh brewed tea. we got hot water and no authenticity at all bagged tea not loose and if she tells you she had loose teeth, then the waitress was at fault, but I don't wanna blame the waitress either like she has so-called reviews that she answer she blames it on someone else whether it's the waitresses and there was a prefix menu, but she didn't have time where she's really busy or somebody had the flu or they're lying or a wall review. I am not that person I have been using yelp since it began. I am a top contributor and I have to say this was a very bad experience and I will not blame it on a single person except the manager and the staff themselves who were not doing anything in the back as we were watching like all the other if you said it takes forever it is a bad luck and they don't come back to the table and serve properly. They don't have time to even say hello and really get to the table in a timely manner. At that point, we got a small salad with no silverware and no cream and sugar so basically we were waiting for our beautiful two/three tiered high tea that was a prefix menu "supposedly??" But after 45 minutes and absolutely no one coming around and still no silverware cream or sugar we had to ask for three times including the owner and we still had nothing else. It was nearly 4 PM and my little girl was starving as was my husband who would've rather been anywhere at that point After the third go round we decided to leave! I'm diabetic and this was crazy! In my almost 46 years. I have never left a restaurant. I hope that you all have a better experience than we did...next time go to a diner! Don't waste nearly $60 pp something. You can buy at Sam's Club and serve yourself if it ever shows up! Angry is not even the word! Prefix my foot! ***Update: I saw what you decided to respond and like I said you are your own worst enemy because I have NO responsibility to tell you anything about being diabetic if I have to wait an hour for a $60 plate of food that you never served me what do I have to pay for? I don't believe that the world is built on you do nothing then I have to pay you for something? Wtf? I saw the other post you blame everybody by yourself. You blame when you're busy you blame it on Valentine's Day. You blame it on your waitress is having the flu. You blame it on everybody by yourself and as far as I'm concerned from sitting there and watching you for an entire hour go back-and-forth and do absolutely nothing. It's your fault nobody else's don't tagline my editorial because you think you wanna be right that doesn't work! I can go home and get hot water. Thank you very much for nothing. You are not only a nasty woman, but you also show a very sincere lack of understanding when it comes to how to run a business not only is it not my job to tell you I'm diabetic it's not my job to take my autistic daughter and have her wait over an hour for food. I don't care how many people you have. All those things are just excuses and as far as I was told when I grow up, it's about results not excuses!!!! SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR RESTAURANT WILL REPOST ALL OVER!!!!

We enjoyed a mid morning seating on a cozy winter Saturday. The tea room, a converted front parlor room of the house is decorated with charming English nods to the queen and tea. About a half dozen tables are set with crisp linen and china. Menu is simple and straight forward. I highly recommend the Tea for Two, or the deluxe version of this if you're really hungry! Tea offerings are plentiful and loose tea brewed. Very authentic! We each got a different flavor of tea under the advice of our wonderful server Dana! Because tea pots are bottomless we were able to sample and share a variety! Highly recommend their Windsor blend as well as the peppermint teas. Soup and quiche of the day were delicious to say the least. Warm creamy tomato bisque and fluffy broccoli cheese quiche started us off. Followed in a timely but not rushed second course of a three tiered tea plate filled with perfectly executed sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and dainty bite size sweet treats. Crustless, finger sandwiches were filled with creations like the Queen's coronation chicken salad, egg salad, and apple cheddar salad, strawberry cream cheese and cucumber slices. Heavenly! Fresh baked scones were light and fluffy inside and buttery and lightly crisp on the outside. Dainty sweet treats included butterscotch mousse, salted caramel macrons, butterfly tea cakes and caramel chocolate shortbread. Portions are plentiful but not overwhelming. We each took a small box of a few bites that weren't able to be finished. Overall we can't say enough good things about this lovely hidden gem right on Rt 15.
