Disappointed that they were out of coconut jelly and a lot of other toppings. They put a note on the kiosk "no boba". I didn't know that meant other toppings as well. I got the passion fruit green tea and mango coconut. Both were actually very delicious. The staff was super apologetic for the lack of toppings and felt bad I didn't want to substitute the coconut jelly. I honestly just wanted something refreshing and it did the trick. This spot is small, but they have spots to sit and WiFi which is really good to know. Not a bad addition to this part of Northern. I think I officially like Gong Cha. read more

Call us boba tea connoisseurs (and we are), but we have such a 'love and less love' relationship with Gong Cha, as with several other similar chains. The bottom line is that very few boba tea shops focus on a truly great brew. This is not surprising but still disappointing, because I'm aware that the vast majority of customers buy flavoured beverages rather than freshly brewed teas. What I liked about this particular location was the ease of touch screen ordering right in front of the person filling the order. I personally order in person much more frequently, but can't deny the convenience and definitely see the pros. Ultimately, their green tea was bland, and the decent boba couldn't quite make up for that. Still, it wasn't much better or worse than other Gong Cha locations or similar chains. Service: I just ordered at the machine, then picked it up. I forgot to order boba on one of my order so I asked the guy to put and asked him how much and he said it's okay. So nice. Food: I almost taste all the flavors but my favorites are: TARO: as always this is good! Taro with bubbles is great! THAI ICED TEA: this one is good too! Thai experience! EARL GREY with 3 J's: this is one of my fave because it has 3 jellies on it! DIRTY BROWN SUGAR: one of the newest flavors! It is good because not your usual sugar! One of the newer Gong Cha locations in Flushing, which I love because it's easier to find parking here than in Downtown Flushing. Decent amount of residential parking, and if not, there's lots of metered parking. There's a couple tables with some seating if you want to just sit and chill. I was headed home and ordered a couple drinks for my parents, so I left after getting my order. The employees were very pleasant, informative and quick. I normally get the Earl Grey Tea Latte or Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3 Js, but I saw the seasonal Thai Mango Milk Tea and went for that. I got it at 30% sugar and less ice (my usual adjustments). The mango bits in it tasted fresh. They do have desserts, like churros, but I haven't tried them. Great spot if you want to grab something on your way or after a meal. read more

This Gong Cha location has some sweet offerings besides the classic drink menu and toppings. On this visit, I ordered the strawberry Matcha. Nothing like fruit and tea to match the feeling of the gorgeous Spring weather we're having. As like the other Gong Cha establishments, you can adjust your sugar level, order extra toppings or omit them. But the bonus at this location is the desserts they sell on the side. Solid spot for a quick Gong-cha fix! On a summer day, I got two mango green teas with lychee jelly and ai-yu jelly. Ai-yu jelly is my new favorite topping and a must for me. FINALLY a bubble tea shop opening up in this neighborhood. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or a curse! This boba girl was soo excited when she saw the Gong Cha coming soon sign up and finally the day has come! We came a few days after their grand opening day and everything was organized and up and running. The interior is a bit small, but super cute and clean. Little dainty tea decorations every where. The staff was so nice and chat with us as well. I got a matcha milk tea with white bubbles and 30% sugar, and my bf got a passionfruit green tea with 30% sugar also and coconut jelly. The drinks were delish and refreshing! Came out speedily too. I was just giving the white bubbles a try to switch things up. They are less chewy and more pop-like. I've been wondering why this side of Flushing didn't have designated bubble tea options so I'm very glad they opened this location. It's super clean inside and they are very quick with your order. I like how Gong Cha's taste more like tea and not as artificial and you can customize your level of sugar and ice. It's a small spot so grab and go which is understandable in current covid times. They have a huge menu it would be nice to be able to place online orders but if you sign up for their texts they will periodically try to tempt you back with discounts which I take advantage of when I'm in need of a sugar boost. read more

Could not be happier that a boba shop finally opened in this area!! The store is clean and cutely decorated and the workers are all very friendly.
