Honesty I am not really a fan of Molly tea but their magnets are so damn cute that I have to collect them. There is always a line here so expect a long wait time. This place is really small so it gets crowded very fast from people waiting in line to order to order pick ups. I have tried many drinks and only one that I like and it is the only I get for the magnets. My go to drink is Dancong Oolong milk tea. Premium jasmine milk tea - it is too floral for me. Premium jasmine matcha - matcha is very light and it tasted kinda watered down. White champaca milk tea - very mild tea flavor. Not a fan of this tea. Peach Tieguanyin oolong milk tea - worst one. Did not like it at all. Jasmin mango smoothie- this was is okay when the mango is ripe but the jasmine is too floral for me.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile- we got 1 hot & 1 iced premium jasmine milk tea and a jasmine mango smoothie. They recommend less ice & 70% sugar level, which is what I usually get anyway. The staff aren't very friendly & service is extremely slow- ordered at 11:15 am, waited nearly 20 minutes with a crowd & finally received our order. Definitely not worth the wait if you ask me. The drinks were underwhelming- jasmine milk tea was light & floral, but tasted sorta diluted, not rich & creamy like I'm used to, and the jasmine mango smoothie tasted like any other mango pomelo drinks- refreshing but was too subtle. Overhyped :x Fyi, there's a Teapulse (yum) & ChaHalo next door, HeyTea & Tsaôcaa are across the street.

Molly tea's milk tea always hits the spot! This shop specifically was so cute and decorated neatly, there's no place to sit though. It's all self service.

Jasmine Mango Smoothie, Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese

First time checking out Molly Tea after passing by a couple times in the past, as well as seeing it on social (honestly, what got me curious) The (2) drinks we ordered were really good... - Jasmine Mango Smoothie - Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese * came with unique straws in a really nice bag ...but the pick up experience was a nightmare. And for that reason alone, we will probably never return. We drove and couldn't get anywhere near Prince St bc of the crazy wknd (CNY effect?) traffic. Ended up parking off College Point and sending someone to pick up the drinks, which was delayed ~30m past the scheduled pick up time. Boyyy, was that person pissed.

I love Molly Tea to death! I always go to the Chinatown location and passed by the Jersey City once. Now I'm happy I got to try out this location! So this is the third Molly Tea location that I've passed by! This location was very busy like the Chinatown location and was very small without any seats and tables inside. So that was a bummer! I guess because the store was too tiny so it was impossible for dine in seats. So this place along with the Chinatown location is just for pick up and takeout only. Their signature pink wagon was located outside the store! I love the pink wagon a lot! It makes the whole Molly Tea very inviting and attractive to visit! There were many customers that extended outside of the store! I ordered their signature Jasmine milk tea with 30% sugar and less ice. The wait was around 10 to 15 minutes for me. They had a lot of orders ready on the counter and many pink bags for delivery! They must make so much money with the ongoing customers! After the wait, my order was ready and the lady behind the counter bagged it up in a reusable pink, thermo bag! I love these pink thermo bags! They are reusable. Just the bad side of the sealable part is that it can wear down after many uses and not stick anymore. I got so many bags already so I got a lot to go through!

I think mustve hit a bad time or something as it was super busy, not much space to stay inside so be aware of cold weather. I expected the tea to have more of a jasmine fragrance/creamy like how chagee is, but when I drank it it taste like typical jasmine tea. Not too sweet. The staff is efficient and friendly though. It would be nice to have a microphone/megaphone for the staff.

This might be a favorite spot for most Yelpers but it's actually just alright + kinda overhyped imo. Not too different from the tea shops across the street or around the corner via Prince Street. I don't think I would be able to guess which drink is from Molly Tea in a blind boba tea taste test. I like the pun (play on words) on "Molly" as it sounds pretty similar to the Chinese word for jasmine (茉莉/Mò Lì). They mainly want to emphasize their unique take on various jasmine-based milk teas. Not much of an ambiance as it's only a small shop with minimal space inside (grab and go kind of space). Literally the size of two bathroom stalls. Staff is nice and helpful though. Always happen to see tons of people standing in the front waiting for their orders while passing by. Had it not been for the free limited edition Christmas enamel pin with the two holiday drink purchase combo, I probably wouldn't even have stopped by. Heard lots of horror stories for the 1-hour wait on the weekends. IDK about you but I don't think I have that kind of patience or time to wait just for boba teas. Too bad they didn't let people just buy the pin ($8 value) on its own, otherwise I definitely would have done that without a doubt! Customers can pay cash or card and place an order in person or via food delivery apps like Fantuan or Hungry Panda. Despite yesterday being a Sunday, I guess it was considered as relatively fast (16 mins...yes I'd timed it on my phone). Maybe it was still early-ish (ordered at noon in person). When your drink order is ready, the # on your receipt will pop up on the LED screen under the "Ready" section. Staff will not call out the #s, so you better be paying close attention to it. I kept checking to see if the drinks were ready every 5 min or so making sure I haven't missed it. I wanna get out of there asap though because people were starting to crowd around inside and towards the storefront. Finally, it was my turn for the drink pickup! Sixteen mins wouldn't have been a long time if I wasn't standing outside! The freezing cold had made the time go even slower. Since there were no seats anywhere, I brought my drinks over to Tangram across the street. I'd requested both of my drinks to have no sugar and no ice. Probably might taste better with 30% sugar but I have been trying to avoid sugar in my drinks lately. 1) Premium Jasmine Milk Tea - Has strong fragrant scent of jasmine green tea. - Can taste the milk. - A basic milk tea for people not ready to jump out of the box & try the new flavored drinks yet. - My Conclusion: (3.5/5) 2) Jasmine Apple Milk Tea - Strong jasmine green tea scent again like the other drink. - Can taste the apple juice without the jasmine overpowering it. - Not too milky. - Surprisingly very refreshing to me. - Can see why it's popular & a new favorite with the crowd. - My Conclusion: (4.5/5) Would I ever be back? Maybe if/when they'll have other holiday promos again like another cute collectible enamel pin with drink purchases. Will I go back without the gift with purchase? Probably not....

I'm now a huge fan of Molly Tea. I get the hype. In a market where bubble teas are hard to stand out - Molly Tea is so different. They focus on milk teas with real tea essences. Favorites: 1. Premium Jasmine milk tea 2. White champaca milk tea 3. Osmanthus milk tea Skip the Gardenia milk tea- barely could taste the tea. Packaging is Louis Vuitton-esque with their flower emblem. Their take out bags are high quality. Save yourself time and order pick up through Door Dash. This place is always busy!

This is a very popular chain for boba, and I can see why! The jasmine milk tea is a classic, and it's so floral and creamy. I would love to get this again! When I went this was a recently opened spot, so opening promotions were going on and of course there was a constant line outside. But service is very fast so there isn't much of a wait that should deter anyone from visiting. This is a quick grab-n-go concept, so there is no seating area inside or outside.

I noticed that everyone in the Tangram Mall across the street carried these iconic pink cups, so I had to try the tea at Molly Tea. On a Wednesday afternoon in busy Downtown Flushing, there was a big crowd in front. After placing my order for the Premium Jasmine milk tea they're best known for, I had a long wait in the crowd and paid close attention to the monitors hanging inside to see when my drink would be done. Finally, once mine was done, I grabbed it and tasted it. It was worth the wait! The tea smells amazing, tastes so fragrant and lovely! I was glad I tried it and enjoyed every drop of it.

The apple Jasmine tea, so good
Michelle L.

Some of the best tea we had on this trip and we tried plenty. They had the thin straws that some say enhance the tea flavor. It was so fragrant and flavorful. We waited quite a bit, but it was well worth. We tried to go to the Manhattan one the next day, but the line was even more wild at that location.

Part of "diabetes row" as they jokingly call it in Flushing. Pink bags and tea - premium jasmine is great as a tea, but actually with milk is less tasty than expected. Same with osmanthus - without the milk is actually better. Paper bag and cup holders, though, very green. Very popular spot, order ahead on the app or HungryPanda because you could wait a while otherwise. Their specialty is the snowy / whipped cheese cream on top... I don't like that all, so probably enjoyed better by others.

Blindbox magnet

top bubble tea that I had in years. The tapioca pearls was different than what I was expecting. I have been here a couple of times and always love collecting the magnets . The taste was not too soft but not too hard. Taste like sweet heaven the pearls. my new go to as I have been tasted tapioca pearls like how it prepared here! I got take out and waited in my car. but the service was fast. Newer store with bright paints and very clean. Will be coming back !

Light and refreshing fruit teas are here to stay! The honey osmanthus is like nothing I've ever had at other boba tea shops (in a good way) and stood out the most. Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.

But the space isn't really conducive for long-term use or work. The staff seem pretty relaxed, most are bilingual, & they seem like seasoned baristas. Proud of what they make. One suggestion /recommendation would be to move the TV screen with the order numbers to a more visible spot. It's currently against the right side wall with an overhang slightly blocking it. Maybe this angle disperses the crowd though?
