Considering all boba shops popping up all throughout Flushing, it's hard to consider Vivi as a major contender even if it is a more well known chain internationally. I feel like I've been to better Vivi locations even from within the borough, but though it all, it remains a solid bubble tea option. As what is likely the most popular business in Friendship Plaza, Vivi has the most visible spot, which just happens to be out front. The stall is tiny, with zero seating and totally a takeout operation, aka pandemic friendly. Their drink menu is so big that it can get overwhelming. I prefer the classic milk tea, as well as their taro slush. Many of the drinks feel bland'ish despite all the creative flavors / combos they have. They allow for custom sugar levels, have a loyalty punch card, and the staff is fairly quick at making drinks. Take that, long wait.

Who wants to Vivi forever? Well we kinda do. We are big fans of all kinds of boba chains and some have really good products and some of them are less good... if we're talking about milk teas, Vivi isn't amazing, but for fruit teas, some of the drinks are amazing at Vivi. This one in the heart of Flushing is pretty good - it's just a tiny little place and not one of my favourite locations but still cute and cool to have it right here in the heart of Flushing and I especially recommend their fancy fruit drinks with black tea.

The signature drink is my fave. It has so much flavor and everything just taste perfect. It a really nice balance with all that it has going on. I also really like the taro milk tea with boba. Boba is soft, warm & fresh. They have a machine & you can customize your drink to your liking. The only one I don't recommend well is the slush. It's a really pretty drink and taste good but just basically ice lol. Service is fast and welcoming. Place is pretty small but they have 3 seats & is very clean.

Since I was mailing packages at the post office nearby, I stopped by ViVi to try their famous, beautiful Blue Galaxy drink. The employees were nice, and since I was in a hurry, one of them even offered to put my drink in a cute, sturdy, travel-friendly bag. Even if I wasn't taking the drink to go, I didn't see much space for sitting. As for the décor, so much pink and so many skulls! I loved the cheeky sign on the column that warns people not to steal. The drink itself was a bit too acidic for me. Too much lemon/lime? After getting to work (a 5-minute walk away), the color had changed from blue to pink. While I was a bit disappointed, I have heard that the color comes from the ice, and naturally as the ice melts, the color disappears too. Maybe in the future, I'll try another one of their signature drinks and see if it tastes better.

Not a bad little spot in the heart of Flushing Queens (on Main Street between Sanford and 41). It's located in the front of one of the many mini malls in the area. The location is basically just a counter. No seating and barely and room to order. On the plus side the bubble tea was tasty. I ordered the passion fruit. It's pleasant tasting and has what I believe are little tapioca beads inside (edible). A medium drink will run you about 5 bucks but it's definitely worth a try.

Stumbled upon The grand opening while getting dumplings and have never tried Vivi bubble tea before so figured why not. It's a small little shop like all the others in flushing located at the front entrance of one of the numerous valley malls of flushing.. you really can't miss it. The staff is nice and friendly and pretty quick with the drinks... but then again I was there when there was no line towards the end of a day. Decided to try the galaxy blue and what a refreshing and not too sweet drink! It's essentially a slushy with a mix of flavors that go well together. Noticed they had something called Sakura balls but were out for the day so perhaps that's something to try for next time. All in all will be back especially since it's in the same gallery as my fav dumpling shop.

Yes! A brand new bubble spot joining here at Flushing. This is my first favorite bubble tea spot when I visited Chinatown many many years ago. I remember a year ago or so, a Vivi did opened up inside the New World mall but then soon it closed up not long after and it was gone like that. So, I am so happy this cute pink spot is now here again and hope it will be hanging around for a long time! Not sure when their exact grand opening day was, but when I came by 2 weeks ago, they had the grand opening "FREE up size" promo where you buy the medium size and get the large. This was awesome deal since Vivi are known to be more pricy than other bubbles tea places but its worth it!!! They have so many choices and the drinks that I tried were: Vivi bubble milk tea, taro, coconut, and Tiramisu milk tea this is my favorite !!! I was bit worried at first how it will taste but the flavor truly blow me away. It was so delicious and I love it. No wonder it is one of their Top 10 drinks list! The location is bit out of my way but I will definitely come by when I want to treat myself once in a while. And last but not least the staff here were friendly and provided great service. (they speak fluently Chinese and English!)

One of my fav drink at Vivi is the passion fruit green tea, no sugar. This branch makes it really good. Quick service.

In the cold and raining night, I was craving for a hot tea and bubble after dinner. I saw the store on Main Street with an attractive interior design and pinky sign. I was debating of what to order and then ask the store ppl. I was surprised with their expertise in recommendations of what to drink based on my preference. I got this hot fruit/herbal tea with cherry bubble (new menu) and it was tasty! I strongly recommend this Vivi bubble tea store if you have a chance to visit this location or any in your neighborhood.

It's hard to say no here, because their bubbles are so good!…read more As one of many bubble/boba (波霸奶茶) milk tea chains that have emigrated stateside from Taiwan (original birthplace of boba), Xing Fu Tang hails from has 5 locations in the New York boroughs area, 4 in Midtown and 1 in Flushing. Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.

It leans more dessert than drink, with a really smooth mango flavor, creamy coconut, and those small sago pearls that give it a great texture without feeling too heavy. Everything I've had so far has been delicious, not too sweet, a generous portion, & actually never too long of a wait. Probably the longest was 15 minutes. All the teas in the area are $7.50 - 9 & very Jasmine green tea-focused, but I'm happy with HeyTea (M-lly Tea & Tea Sch-lar were fine. Maybe HeyTea markets their drinks better?) HeyTea drinks have good flavor, quality ingredients, and well-crafted & executed layers. Now I understand why they're so popular & glad I didn't come sooner because my habit would have been even worse. I've had these (less sweet, less ice): (all have a green tea base) - Jasmine Cloud King (the OG) - Jasmine Matcha Cloud King - Crisp Grape Boom (a bit slushy, bits of real red grape) - Mango Coconut Sago (perfect dessert, a traditional Cantonese soup dessert) Like the tiny sago boba instead of the regular size. Coconut square jellies too. No caffeine version available. - Blue Coconut Matcha Cloud Still have to try a Matcha one. The shop is a good size with a lot of waiting room. 1 table & a high counter at the front window. I've seen a small group of professionals either de-briefing or meeting over tea. But the space isn't really conducive for long-term use or work. The staff seem pretty relaxed, most are bilingual, & they seem like seasoned baristas. Proud of what they make. One suggestion /recommendation would be to move the TV screen with the order numbers to a more visible spot. It's currently against the right side wall with an overhang slightly blocking it. Maybe this angle disperses the crowd though?

I walked into a space that immediately feels different from a typical bubble tea shop because coconut is clearly the focus rather than just another menu option. The shop has a clean, bright setup that matches the fresh, tropical vibe of the desserts, and the display makes it easy to see what is available before you even order. The menu revolves around fresh coconut in all kinds of forms, from drinks and puddings to shaved ice and desserts. I started with one of their coconut-based drinks, and what stood out right away was how natural everything tasted. The sweetness felt like it was coming from the ingredients themselves rather than being buried under syrups. The fresh coconut flavor was clean, refreshing, and surprisingly light. Even though many of the drinks are creamy, they never felt heavy, and the coconut water base in some options kept the drinks from becoming cloying. The mango coconut pudding was easily one of the highlights. The combination of ripe mango and coconut worked incredibly well together, with the fruit adding brightness while the coconut pudding provided a smooth, creamy texture. The pudding itself had a delicate consistency that felt somewhere between a dessert and a drink, making it easy to finish quickly. The coconut pudding drinks are worth ordering if it is your first visit because they showcase what makes the shop unique, and the layers of coconut cream and fruit come together in a way that feels thoughtful and well balanced. What I also appreciated was the variety. While coconut is the common thread throughout the menu, there are enough combinations with fruits, taro, and other ingredients that it never feels repetitive. The shaved ice options add a colder, more textured option, and the coconut jelly toppings give you something to chew on between sips. Everything is made fresh to order, which can mean a bit of a wait during busier periods, but the quality makes it understandable. The drinks come out looking as appealing as they taste, and the presentation adds to the overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful when explaining the menu, especially since some of the items may be unfamiliar if you have never visited a coconut-focused dessert shop before. They took the time to walk through the different options and offered recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. Service felt welcoming, and even when the shop got busy, the team managed the flow without making the experience feel rushed. Good Coconut feels like a refreshing alternative to the standard dessert and bubble tea spots. The ingredients taste fresh, the coconut flavor is genuinely front and center, and the desserts manage to be satisfying without feeling overly sweet. If you enjoy coconut, this is the kind of place that can quickly become a repeat stop, offering a menu that rewards exploration and delivers a clean, refreshing take on coconut-based treats.
