    Croissant egg tart

We came here to try their pastries. We got the signature vanilla éclair & croissant egg tart. The éclair was amazing!!! Highly recommended! It was so crunchy on the outside & creamy. The croissant egg tart was ok. The egg part was yummy. The croissant part was ok. Friendly staff.

Got their cream puffs and they were pretty good. Full of cream and very light. Their boba are just okay though.

This is my go to bubble tea whenever I am in Main Street. They have changed their location to the food court in the mall. Although it is a bit overpriced, my favorite option is the number 2 which is brown sugar boba milk, pearl with tiger sugar and cream mousse. Since it is a very popular boba spot, the wait can be a bit long to get your order. For me, this is the perfect combination of caffeine and boba.

During my stay in Flushing, my dad got me the Brown Sugar Boba Tea from Tiger Sugar - I've had the bubble tea here before but was surprised when it came in a adorable Hello Kitty cup (for their collaboration) I would say drinks always taste better when you're drinking from a cute cup! The Brown Sugar Milk Tea always hits the spot. The bubbles had a good texture but the taste is pretty average for me. A bit too sweet for my liking. It's pretty good but nothing special to rave about in my opinion. I would love to try some of the other drinks on the menu next time though. Their drinks seem to have better quality than other spots!

I had the #1, black sugar boba + pearl milk with cream mousse. This drink was amazing. Flavor was spot on and the boba was really good...wish I could've gotten extra boba. Service was quick for such a busy place. The drink is like $7.50 or so, but worth it...especially on such a hot and humid summer day in NY.

I love Tiger Sugar!! It's definitely a lot sweeter than most tea shops but the classic brown sugar milk tea with boba is something everyone must try! FYI the tea shop is in the basement of the mall at the food court and there is hardly a line!

This tiger sugar does not hit the same anymore. I'm sad because it was my fave. However last time it made my stomach hurt really bad. I feel like they don't clean their stuff that well. Idk. Service is good. I will be trying the one upstairs now. I can't give up on tiger sugar like that lol

I would recommend the brown sugar milk tea with boba. The boba is a bit smaller than the typical boba size which confused me at first, but still very tasty!

When out in Flushing, Queens area, there are way too many bubble tea places to choose from. Some are way better than others but I have to say Tiger sugar is definitely on the higher end of the scale. When they first opened years ago, there was always a line out the door with people waiting forever. There's still a line now, but less. Uniqueness of tiger sugar is their boba. It's the right texture, not too chewy or too soft. Plus the tapioca has the normal size and the tiny size pearls. Makes it more unique and enjoyable. Worth a try for sure

Inside of the Pineapple Bun thing and the tiny croissant.

The pastries are too expensive. Not worth it. Got the cream puff, I thought I was eating air. Total croissant crust is just 1 bite and loaded with cream. The croissant is so tiny for the price. Something Call Pineapple without cream is hollow inside.

If you want brown sugar boba milk, Tiger Sugar is the way to go. I got their black sugar boba and pearl milk with cream mousse and it was interesting having two different sizes of pearls and boba throughout the entire drink. I think next time I'd just get the boba though. I still prefer having the flavor and chewiness of the boba. The brown sugar and milk is heavenly, paired with the perfectly chewy boba. At some boba places, the amount of brown sugar flavor is pitiful, and that's definitely not the case at Tiger Sugar. Every sip is full of brown sugar and pairs wonderfully with the milk and boba. After you take pictures, don't forget to shake your drink before you poke your straw in. A few of my friends forgot and struggled to mix it after their straw was in.

Does this location have the option to upgrade to XL size on all drinks?

I don't believe they have that option at this location

What's the difference between boba and pearl?

Boba= regular/large tapioca balls Pearl= tiny tapioca balls

Are you open in New Year's day? with same business hrs?

Yes, we’re open and yes, same business hours. Happy holidays

    Do they accept Apple pay?

    No, only visa n Mastercard

Can we use a reusable cup with measurements on the cup?

I don't think so, it probably cannot happen.

Are there dairy free milk teas or options?

Hello Erin, yes we do have dairy free options which you can find in our menu under the "Tea Series". https://www.facebook.com/tigersugarusa/menu/

Can you ask for less sugar and less ice?

No you can't ask for less sugar. I don't know about less ice but I know that they can't do "no ice"

Does anyone know if you can not have the boba for the brown sugar series? I know the whole point is that the boba is great but I can't have them unfortunately?

Yes. They have options that have no boba.

Do they allow us to switch out for lactaid milk?

I don't know what kind of Milk they use, but Lactose won't be an issue here. I can't drink regular Milk and so is most Asian. So whatever kind of Milk they use probably do not have Lactose in it.

How many grams of sugar is in the Brown Sugar Black Tea with Boba? How many calories is the drink?

Load with Sugar & Calories. Amounts not on container. If you're diabetic I suggest you do not drink this. It is really delicious.

Do you know if they offer almond or soy milk option?

    Nope

Does the "brown sugar milk" have tea in it?

There's no tea in the brown sugar milk. Just milk and brown sugar boba/tapioca

Why the hell is the line so freaking long for? What is with all the hype homies?

They publish the time when a fresh pot of bubble would be ready. That's when the line will be super long. Other time is not that bad.

    Do they take cards?

Yes, but there is a minimum of $10!

What is the difference between the brown sugar boba milk with cream mousse, brown sugar boba + pearl with cream mousse, and the brown sugar pearl milk with cream mousse?

The difference is the size of the boba that’s included. Boba are regular sized boba while pearls are the baby boba. So to answer your question, the first one has boba, the second has boba and pearls, while the third only has pearls.

How does it compare with Yi Fang's brown sugar latte?

    It is wayyy better.

Do you use lactose-free milk (like Lactaid)?

    Horizon organic milk

Do you guys serve brown sugar boba milk at 11am as soon as you guys open the shop or is there a time when the boba is ready?

Yes we start prepping as early as 7am so that the boba is ready by the time we open.

Is there l a dairy free option?

Hello! We do have regular teas without milk. However, at this time our signature drink doesn’t have a dairy free option.

Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so.
