For drinks: Pink Guava Frost- got it at half sugar and no regrets for me. Not too sweet with the aromatic guava taste seeping out. Some slush out there got too much ice but this one's perfect. Really good. $5.95 BOGO. Matcha Guava coconut- my mom got this at 100% sugar and I felt that it was too sweet for me to pickup much guava taste, or coconut. Might go back to try with half sugar or even less. BOGO. Food: Chocolate bubble waffle- nice chocolate taste. Kind of rich and not that sweet, but you might not taste much if you're having it with sweet drinks. Got a pretty decent crust too. $5.95 Fries: these look very much like the frozen ones. Not soggy from condensation but just not crunchy at all. Hoped they'd at least seasoned it. $4 Fried chicken boneless- they had bones and boneless option with multiple flavors. I opted for the cheesy flavor, 10 piece. They're served with the flavor as powder on the side. Cheese powder itself is more like the Korean ones, more sweet than savory than expected but not bad. The chicken itself tho. Juicy and lightly marinated with a great batter. Super crispy and doesn't fall off the chicken. $11.95 They got 2 kiosks and cashier was nice and thorough in their explanation. We didn't wait too long for food as well, maybe like 6-10 min. Many tables available and might get a little packed if there's a lot of ppl lining up to order but line goes super quick. Space is nicely decorated as well. Nothing life changing, but for sure a reliable boba you can count on to satisfy your cravings! The taro waterfall with brown boba had a nice authentic taro flavor with an outer layer of taro paste. I thought the milk tea was a black tea base, given how strong the tea flavors were, but I double checked and it was green tea! The boba was super chewy and well cooked, but surprisingly not too mushy. With their fruit teas and decor, this place kinda reminds me of Hey Tea. The guava slush with crystal boba was also solid. The slush didn't have random chunks of ice and the guava flavors/juice weren't too sweet at 50%. The crystal boba is the commercial type but went well with the fruit theme. Really appreciate their decently priced boba!! I feel like the sizes are pretty comparable to other boba shops, but its only about $5-6 for each drink (vs $7-8 elsewhere). We got: Mango Yogurt with Crystal Boba (4/5), Jasmine Milk Green Tea with Boba (3.5/5) I was super happy that the jasmine milk tea I got had a pretty strong tea flavor. I was somewhat scared that it was going to be too milky but the tea shone through! The problem with the drink was the boba. They were way too soft, making chewing the boba a bit of a jaw workout because chewing did nothing. You chewed and chewed to no avail and I'm pretty sure I just ended up swallowing some of those bobas whole. The store itself was a little weird because it's part bakery in the front of the store with the boba store in the back. There's a screen where you can self-order using a credit card and you can buy with cash in-person. Something to pay attention to, though, is that a lot of their drinks come with toppings already. My jasmine milk tea came with boba already, but I didn't know so I added additional boba, which meant that I had DOUBLE of the boba that I found to be too soft and thus double the jaw workout. Kinda crazy that I'm saying this but this place is probably one of the more decently priced boba places.
