Of the major boba franchises, TSAôCAA is one of my favorite. They're consistently great and ahead of the other older franchises. I had their Panda Boba Tea and Jasmine Milk Green Tea, while on the pricier side, both were spectacular. The Panda Boba Tea had good flavor and the pearls had a near perfect texture and taste. The jasmine milk green tea was pretty good as well, a bit pricey for a medium but it's flavor made up for it. The cups sort of confused me as both were very different style of cups, just one had boba and one didn't.
I just came here for the very first time and tried one of their milk teas, jasmine milk tea with 30% sugar and less ice. Like other bubble tea places, you can customize the sugar and ice levels with optional toppings in your drink. I love the jasmine milk tea a lot when I sipped it. It was so fragrant! I just loved the jasmine scent. The whole place was very cozy and hip! I love the flooring pattern! It was very mesmerizing to look at. All white with symmetrical blue patterns that want you to stare at the floor. The whole place was very clean and a great place for groups and individuals who want to hang out. The tables and chairs looked very cute to hang out in. There were outlets for people to charge their phones and computers. I love it when places have outlets because everyone needs to charge their phones from time to time so convenience is a plus! The staff were very fast at making their orders. I got my order less than a minute! I think it was because there was only one customer besides me waiting for their order. The staff gave me a tiny plastic bag to hold my drink. I love the cup design. It looked so exquisite and very nice to hold!
Randomly decided to try their tea and was pretty impressed, also got tea pulse, tea scholar and artisan to try them out and this came out as the top one. Heavy tea taste 白蘭輕乳 was good! My new go to shop, gotta try some other flavors next time!
Very nice and clean boba shop with a welcoming vibe. I like that they offer light snacks and desserts alongside the drinks--it makes for a chill hangout spot. Service is quick. I ordered the Strawberry Green Tea, and while it was refreshing and flavorful, the sweetness was still too much--even after I requested the lowest level. Considering HeyTea--one of the most popular tea chains--is literally next door, this shop needs to be on their A-game to stand out. They've got potential, but consistency and customization will be key. Still, worth a visit if you're in the area and want to try something different.
The magnolia milk tea and the longan jasmine coconut latte are impressive! Quality tea that you can indulge in while you are in Flushing. Efficient staff and there is a sitting area for dining in. Good times are to be had with happiness in a cup of tea!
Inside was busy but the service was quick and efficient. Small area but has some dining area and kiosk for ordering. Got a grape and a melon/watermeon drink both amazing!
We tried their pineapple mojito and it was the perfect refreshment for a hot day! There a a few small tables inside and everything was clean and organized.
Found this place on doordash and thought it looked like the best option at 9:30/10pm. They had a good choice of flavors and teas on their menu and lots of toppings. I got grapefruit tea with aloe and the tea was actually pretty good. It had a strong grapefruit flavor. Im glad I ordered from here.
The service upon ordering this fruit light tea was excellent. Our acquaintance behind the cash register was very nice and even allowed us to try a clear crystal Boba since this has been a new invention from the past year. The ambiance of this bubble tea parlor is very clean, fresh, and modern. The bright lights reflect off of the white wall walls. The place is clean and welcoming. This tea was a great selection. It was sweet, but not too sweet and the mango Boba included inside really accentuated the flavors. I highly recommend this drink. This fruity tea was flavorful and fresh, the cool thing about this drink is that you can actually adjust your sugar levels and ice levels upon ordering.
I love this spot because they have a kiosk in the front, as well as people taking orders in the back. The drinks come out quick and there are SOO many flavors to choose from. They are all reasonably priced and super tasty! They have unique fruity options and bubble tea options to choose from. The interior is clean and bright, and there are also seats if you want to stay.
Popped in here before my hot pot res and the staff was fast! I love having real taro it always hits the spot. My friends got real fruit drinks and the fruits are very sweet without adding sugar. There are so many options in the area and it's hard to decide but I prefer this chain over a few others such as Kung Fu Tea or GongCha or the street vendor ones.
Love this place. Their prices are always very reasonable and tasty. Decent seating and spacious interior so it never feels too crowded. Definitely one of the better boba places in flushing to visit, and there's a membership you can sign up for :)
Cute little bakery that we stopped in on the way to our errands to grab a quick bite and something to drink. A bit disappointed they don't have coffee.. so we settled for a non-sugary oolong tea! Friendly staff, very clean establishment and I can totally see this as a study place for people when they're looking to get away. You can order food and drinks... and even charge your phone with the charger rental!

My first time trying Tsaocaa and I got their Butter Oolong tea. It's lightly sweet and has a deliciously rich buttery flavor. If you like honey butter or butterscotch the taste is similar. I highly recommend trying this tea while it's available. YUM! read more

One would think it's hard to pick a bubble tea joint out of so many in Flushing, but it turned out to be relatively easy for us on this visit. We squeezed in 2: Tiger Sugar and TsaoCaa. The former was due to the hype and we had to try it once; the latter was new and was running a promo. Tasocaa is a new bubble tea joint on Prince Street. It's very trendy with a long curvy bench and hanging mirrors. It had a big sign at the door advertising a buy-one-get-second 50% off promo. We walked in without hesitation and tried 2 of their signature drinks: + Brown Sugar Milk Black Tea + Milk Black Tea w. Crystal Pearl & Bubble The brown sugar milk tea tasted just like Tiger Sugar's except less milky which was actually preferred by me because I'm lactose intolerant haha. The boba was springy, sweetened and great tasting. I didn't care much about the texture of crystal pearl in the second drink but the wifey loved it. Especially as long as the promo continues, there's no reason not to like TsaoCaa - Great taste, great ambiance and best value in town. I do have one suggestion to the establishment: get rid of the cup sleeves with the prominent "Made In China" label (in Chinese). In my opinion, for now at least, it cheapens the brand. read more
If you want INTERESTING drinks, come here. If you just want a regular milk tea, better off going somewhere else. This place has a lot of CHEESE FOAM drinks. The tea drinks are strong. Gotten drinks from here quite a few times and got fooled on some of them because I didn't know it had cheese foam in it. Make sure you know what you're getting T_T. Dear Yelp, I have found the perfect place for Ube Purple Potato Bubble Tea! It sounds like a weird combination for a bubble tea flavor but it tastes like fresh taro bubble tea and better. Tsaocaa is a bubble tea shop that sells quick bites like popcorn chicken and Hong Kong bubble waffles. There is also an additional bakery attached to the shop. It is a small shop with only three round tables and two chairs. The check out area is a bit confusing because there is an ordering kiosk in Chinese, then a cashier behind a plastic wall in the back corner. The menu was hard to see but they had paper menus. The service was slower than most Flushing bubble tea shops but the drinks were made well and adequately priced. The purple potato bubble tea was only $1 more but significantly larger in size than a regular matcha milk tea. read more

I didn't get any drink from them, so the review is solely based on their customer service. Everytime when i visit alley i always see this beautiful boba shop. So, yesterday i thought of getting a drink from them after my dinner. I was already full from my dinner so i wanted to get dairy free and boba free drink. I saw this poster by the entrance. It looked very good. We went inside and there were a guy and a girl facing their back towards us and were eating. I waited for them to look at me as i don't want to distrub them when they were eating. I waited for like few minutes and later i saw a pos and had a sign which says self order or something. In this part, it was my mistake i should have looked at it. So, me and my friend we started looking at the menu, but couldn't find any mojito menus. The lady went and started making drinks may be for delivery,while the guy was still sitting and eating. I called him but he didn't hear me. I wanted to ask them how i can order the mojito which was not in the computer. So, i again started looking at the menu to make sure i was not wrong. We were already in the store for like 6 or 8 minutes trying to find the mojito menu. We looked up and the guy was in the kitchen area. I tried calling him again as he was now facing towards us and doing something in the kitchen. He looks pissed off at us and comes and takes his mask and starts talking to us in chinese. I asked him nicely that i wanted to order mojito that was on the poster by their entrance and i can't see that menu in the pos. He starts talking to me chinese with his annoyed place. He could have just said no english. He doesn't have to be so dramatic and start talking to me rudely in chinese. I know it's chinatown of queens, but atleast they should have hired someone who can speak english or little english. You don't only serve chinese people in your store. You might have customers who can't speak or understand chinese. If you don't sell mojito drinks then why are you doing false advertisement. I wasted my good 10 mins in the store for nothing. He should have said something when we were spending so much time with the pos when we were the only customers there. The more i think about this situation, the more i feel like he must be cursing me in chinese. read more

I brought my youngest kid to TsaoCaa because the tea shop next door ran out of boba. It's strange that they would put two new tea shops right next to each other. Walking into the shop, I felt lIke walking into the Apple Store...everything is white and post modern. I had to make my way all the way to the back of the shop to place my order and that's where the fun starts. It's bad enough that there are 50 things on the menu spread across 2 screens...to make it more challenging, they change the contents of the menu on the screens every few seconds!!! There are actually 4 menu pages rotating through 2 screens. After a while, I give up, cross my fingers and just order a cup of hot green tea for myself and asked if they have iced mango green tea for my kid (without looking at the confusing menu). The mango tea had real bits of mango and was really good. The hot green tea was ... hot green tea. Ambience/decor: really white and post modern. Food: mango tea contained real mangoes, not powder. TLDR: yet another new bubble tea shop in Flushing. The tea is good, but doesn't really stand out among the sea of other bubble tea shops within a 2 block radius. read more

When you come in to Tsaocaa, it looks great. There's seating, nice atmosphere. But, the food I got was just okay. There are so many bakeries in flushing and this one does not come out on top of the others. I got the blueberry cream cake. It looked amazing but right off the bat, I got 2 different size ones. One of which was significantly smaller. There's already no consistency on this front. As for the taste, it's a subtle sweet as these cakes are. But the cream just felt heavy and oily and not satisfying to eat. It looked a lot better than it tastes. Their other stuff may be good. But I'm judging it the item that stands out when you go in. read more
Not only is this one of the few bubble tea places in Flushing that is able to maintain decent prices, but they brew the drink for you on the spot! I was wondering why it took so long for them to make me my drink, and I saw that they brew the tea for my drink upon ordering! That definitely is worth some points!! The only thing is that they are probably still training some of the new workers since they seemed unfamiliar with the menu, but really appreciate the service read more

Another new bubble tea place opens shop. Get 38 likes and get a free drink. This place is quite pretty in all it's white stylized swerved seating space. Bits of silver accents and cactus plants adorn the walls. TSAôCAA (朝茶) means pilgrimage tea. Or fresh brewed tea. Made from loose teas. Each order is made fresh in an expresso-like machine, which sets it apart from many other specialty tea places. Then depending on your drink order, organic milk may be added then shaken to form bubbles. Drinks on the menu are: freshly brewed teas (with addition of milk foam or match milk foam) Fruit flavored teas Milk swirl bubble drinks Milk bubble drinks Fruit yogurt drinks TSAôCAA special drinks: (which contain additions of oreo, brown sugar jelly, herb jelly, grapefruit jelly or red bean) Remember to choose your ice and sugar levels. The drink I had was ok. Standard among bubble tea drinks. Plug in your electronics in any of the plentiful electric outlets. There are 2 other locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Both of these have food/ snacks. This Flushing location does not. Final note: Extra star for the beautiful setting, lots of seating and power outlets (there is one at every table). Bonus: Share a pic of their window poster, on WeChat or Instagram, get 38 likes and get a free drink ($6 or less). It's one of my pics. read more
Tsaôcaa (朝茶), a new arrival to Downtown Flushing, is yet another bubble tea place. Tsaôcaa's differentiation seems to be the shop itself. The shop is lovely, with a sleek, clean, modern aesthetic. There are power outlets thoughtfully placed behind each table that entice visitors to sit and linger for a while. There is one well-maintained unisex bathroom with ADA grab bars. However, the music volume at Tsaôcaa can be a little too loud. The tea itself at Tsaôcaa is average. Less sugar and less ice are available as options. We've Had: - Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea with Oreo and Milk Foam (敲糖喵喵): Meh. This tasted like an average Hong Kong style milk tea with a slightly salty foam topping. If there was a hint of Oreo flavoring to the tea or the foam, we didn't notice it. - Peach Green Tea with Nata Jelly (滿滿桃花運): An average tea, but dressed up with bits of nata (coconut) jelly and a small slice of citrus fruit for an enjoyable experience. read more
Flushing is no short of bubble tea places. We checked out this place because my toddler wanted "blue bubble tea". We ordered their coconut blue which has bubbles and blue jelly cubes in a blue coconut drink. The taste is okay, the looks is better. We also tried their lychee green tea with pearl and milk foam and osamanthus milk tea. Lychee green tea is looks pretty and tastes refreshing. Osamanthus milk tea is not bad. Overall not very impressed with their tea taste but their presentation is pretty for a picture. read more

Flushing is essentially bubble tea central. It's home to all the big chains, new chains as well as some independent shops. Tsaocaa looks like a chain from China but since I'd never tried it, decided to give it a shot. Menu here is about the same as everywhere else - milk tea with bubbles, fruit teas and some slushes. Drinks were pretty average and I wouldn't say that anything was memorable. I will say their passionfruit lime tea was bitter AF (probably because they left the lime with the rind in the tea) but that was probably an isolated incident. Service here was a tad of a hot mess. I waited about 15 minutes for 3 drinks and when I ordered there was only 1 person ahead of me. That person ended up waiting longer than I did (I got to leave before he got his entire order). The staff didn't seem to know how to run the shop efficiently. Probably not going to come back with all the other options in the vicinity but it's worth a visit if you want to give it a try. read more
Buy one get one 50% off! First things first, the ambiance and aesthetIc is great. It's such a cute place to hang out in! My friend and I came in on a Friday night around 830pm and there was no one there so the drinks came out super quick. I ordered the Lychee Green Tea with Crystal Pearl and Milk Foam. Ir was a fairly large drink and I asked for 50% sugar. I highly recommend getting half the sugar because the drink was the perfect amount of sweet and not too overwhelming. This drink was different than other fruit teas i've tried because it was more like a slush/smoothie. I asked the employee what was the most popular fruit tea they sold and she pointed to this one. She didn't disappoint. The milk foam is so good, I would get this drink again but maybe when it's a little warmer out. It's the perfect summer drink. My friend ordered the brown sugar milk tea. The bubbles were very soft, if that's how you like it. It had a hint of a coffee taste as well. With many competitors such as Tiger Sugar and The Alley nearby, it wasn't our favorite but it wasn't bad either. Just meh. read more

Pros: - my friend liked the drinks and thought it tasted good - speedy service - good ventilation Cons: - both drinks tasted sour. We chose 100% sugar for both drinks - the drinks did not look like the pictures presented to us. This is my favorite place to get fruit tea. I always order the grapefruit peach green tea with jelly, and it never disappoints. There's real grapefruit pieces and peach purée in the tea, and the sweetness of the peach and slight bitterness and acidity of the grapefruit balance each other out perfectly, and complement the floral notes of the green tea. The jelly also has great texture, and comes in larger pieces similar to grass jelly, rather than the lychee or rainbow jelly. I've tried their other fruit teas, including the passion fruit and lime one and the pineapple green tea, and they are also solid, but the grapefruit peach is definitely my favorite. read more

Drinks - Out of the all the other boba spots in the area, I think they have one of the best options and flavor. Some of the drinks are pretty unique with most of them served in the form of a smoothie. I tried the dragonfruit and the house special fruit tea and both were really good and refreshing. My only complaint would only be that the boba was just mediocre. The crystal boba is meh and I prefer getting the regular boba. Ambiance - It's pretty spacious and well lit. It's actually quite a cute place to hangout with your friends and they are pretty clean too! Price - we ordered 3 drinks for around $15 after discount so thats actually pretty cheap compared to other places! They offered a but 1 get 1 50% off so that was pretty good. Let me start off by saying yes, I got the likes from Instagram (38+) and was able to get this drink free. The place is really spacious I think for a boba place. There's plenty of room for people to sit with friends, chill, study, etc. I got the large, peach oolong milk tea with boba (if I'd paid it would have been $4.55). One thing I really like is they said the boba is included already in their price! That's great! The medium is $3.95. I thought the price points were really low and more than fair. The flavor of the peach oolong was perfect to me; I tasted the the tea, the touch of peach, and felt the creaminess and thickness of the drink. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and cool temperature too. I will definitely be back to try other flavors like the osmanthus, Sakura, and rose oolong etc. It was very quick to get my drink too even though there had been quite a few people ahead of me. read more
I ordered peach grapefruit. I love it. The color is nice I see fresh fruit in the bottle. But the only thing is when I walked in, I didn't want to stay. It's all white color around u and after I waited on line for few minutes, I just wanted to go out for fresh air. Maybe it's Halloween, and it's rainy outside and they are not sure they should turn on the heat or the fan. Overall, I love the drink. Order fruit drinks. U won't go wrong with it. Stumbled upon this tea shop while boba hunting in Flushing, NY. We ordered the 'Colourful Fruit Tea" as we wanted something light and they were advertising this on their screen. There was actually fruit pieces in the fruit tea and it was very tasty but a little more on the sour side for my liking. They have a wide variety of drinks on their menu, I was recommended the milk tea series but I wanted something fruity. I will definitely come back to try some other items on their menu later for sure tho! They also have a good seating area with lots of tables and chairs for you to enjoy your boba with friends. The decor is also really chic and perfect for taking pics for the insta! Check out this boba shop if youre in the area, I think they also have a location in Brooklyn too. read more
