pretty yummy even for a take out! i love the rice balls so much and used to always get hui liu shan. i'm glad that this tastes just like that. the mangos were a bit on the unripe side, so i feel like it's a hit or miss. (hence the 4 star review) rice balls were very chewy and yummy. i do recommend dine in though so the rice balls don't get hard. staff was very nice, when i asked a question they answered quickly. ambience was a bit loud but i saw plenty of seating. read more

Mango Mango Dessert in Flushing is a dessert cafe centered almost entirely around mango based sweets, fruit desserts, and chilled café style treats. I found the space bright, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy café layout that is more polished than a traditional dessert shop. Seating is arranged for small groups and casual hangouts, and the overall setup feels designed for people staying awhile over desserts rather than grabbing something quickly and leaving. Even though the menu is large, the entire identity of the place revolves around fruit forward desserts, especially mango, with a mix of sago bowls, pancakes, crepe cakes, shaved ice, drinks, and sticky rice desserts. The mango desserts were easily the biggest highlight for me. I tried the mango sago pomelo bowl and the mango pancakes. The mango sago pomelo bowl leaned heavily into fresh fruit and creamy textures with a lighter refreshing flavor. The mango pancakes stood out for their soft crepe exterior and cream filling. I also sampled the mango sticky rice and a slice of mango mille crepe cake. The crepe cake added a richer dessert option alongside the colder fruit based items. The menu also includes durian desserts, coconut based sweets, black rice desserts, jellies, and specialty drinks, giving the café a wide range of textures and flavors without moving too far away from its fruit dessert focus. I noticed that a lot of the desserts feel visually layered and oversized, especially the combination bowls filled with fruit, sago, pomelo, jelly, and ice cream. Service felt casual and fairly efficient, even as the café got busy. My desserts arrived quickly, especially the cold dishes and drinks, and the staff kept the flow moving smoothly even when groups around me were ordering multiple items to share. The experience felt straightforward and relaxed rather than overly formal, which fit the café style setup well. read more

This spot has a bright, cheery and cozy atmosphere when you arrive. Comfy seats if you're stopping for a bit. Their teas and drinks are spot on! Lots of bubbles, pearls, etc. Their Mo Mo Cha is warm and comforting, not too sweet and not heavy. It's perfect for a chilly night. The fresh fruit with sago, jelly and coconut juice is the perfect refreshing treat for anytime. This is our go-to in the summer. The mille crepe cake wasn't a favorite; the creme brulee really didn't taste like what I'm used to having. Overall, this is a great place to order from, no matter what the weather is. We've been going here and ordering for awhile now and the service and items have been consistent. read more

I will admit that the location is off putting, however I still wanted to go in and try the mango sticky rice which was sold out. I ended up getting the mango Millie crepe cake which was also satisfying, as I enjoyed the texture of the cake and the mangoes were ripe and sweet. I would add ice cream on the side as well. I enjoyed it, and I would return to try the mango sticky rice! Get there early! Thank you to everyone for all of the delicious mango items. read more

This is one of the multiple locations of this popular HK dessert chain and my preference for going to their locations can partially correspond to how many other spots in the neighborhood offer the same things for less as the locations in terms of flavors tend to be pretty consistent. I personally prefer for instance another spot or two in Flushing for Mango Pomelo Sago so it's less likely that I'll stop here. The most notable thing otherwise are the "Snow White Juice" items which is a secret recipe but is rumored to be made from coconut and a few other things and it adds a smoothness and light sweetness to desserts. I otherwise like the durian desserts here though I prefer Kulu and a few others. As noted by others, the outside of this specific location is not inviting which is unfortunate. My preference is still the Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice Cream which is $8.25 or you can get it without ice cream for 50 cents less. The mango tends to be high quality even when it's not in season (though it is a bit sweeter when it's not summer/spring) and there is a pleasant tartness from the pomelo. Whatever ice cream brand they use or ship between the different stores is good quality. The dessert in general is refreshing and sweet and the portion size is big enough essentially to justify the price point. Our Snow White Juice option was with Red Bean and Green Tea Ice Cream for $7.75. It was mildly sweet overall from the red bean and juice with the dessert also had some pieces of nata de coco/coconut jelly which added a good crunch. The ice cream again was pretty good quality. My least favorite option that we got was the Mango Coconut Sticky Rice With Ice Cream for $9.50. The presentation is nicer compared to what you find in Thai spots but I didn't like the texture of the rice and it didn't work as well mixed compared to other places. It has a fun concept especially with the customizable amount of coconut to pour on top but I wasn't a huge fan. The fact that it is also more expensive than the other better mango desserts doesn't help either. Are these the best HK desserts? Not really. But it's a good chain and it's much more reasonable than let's say Spot and the quality tends to be pretty good. Mid 3 like every other location. read more

Mango Mango is always good when it comes to desserts and food, but this location was disappointing. The outside area had a lot of trash, which gave off a neglected vibe right from the start. When we walked in, the server wasn't welcoming at all -- very blunt and emotionless. It's a shame, because Mango Mango usually delivers great desserts, but this branch feels like it's neglecting both its environment and customer service, which really took away from the visit. read more

I've been to several locations of Mango Mango, including Manhattan Chinatown, Philly. The deserts are fairly consistent in all the locations. This time, we tried a variety of desserts, ice cream, layered cake and mango sundae. All were light and delicious, as usual. All their desserts are always wonderful and recommended. Note: We all thought the portions looked smaller than appear in the menu pictures. The store is very nice inside, fun and welcoming. Service was fine. However, the outside was dirty and unsightly with garbage cans everywhere. Unfortunately, it's like this in a lot of the streets in Flushing. I would always look forward to going to Mango, Mango. read more

Great dessert spot somewhat tucked away with nice seating and a very high end feel for a dessert place. Ordered some of their combo desserts, some had mango, sago, and frozen durian. Durian dessert bowl, mango and black rice, and coconut mango juice sago and pomelo. All very delicious, I don't think you can go wrong with any variations of these desserts. The desserts always are good quality at Mango Mango. I like the consistency of the chain and found this location in Flushing lived up to standards. We got a combo with mango ice cream wraps and two mango bowls. The sago one was excellent! Someone in our group got a three scoop ice cream sundae as well, which included vanilla, matcha, and mango. The store is always busy and has a line, but I guess that's New York. Interior and bathroom weren't the cleanest either. read more

My friend and I stopped by this dessert spot a few days ago and now I'm obsessed! This might just be the cutest dessert shop I've ever been to, and the menu? Absolute perfection. We ordered the Crème Brûlée Crepe Cake and the Strawberry Mango Juice Sago with Lychee Jelly & Mango Ice Cream and wow. Every bite was dreamy. The ice cream was super refreshing, especially in this summer heat, and the crepe cake was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. The staff were so polite and welcoming, honestly matching the atmosphere for the cafe itself. Very cutesy, very demure! Can't wait to go back and try even more from their menu! So I had gone to a similar place in London and I was dying to find one in NY, luckily my friend put me on to Mango Mango, and lo and behold, they had the same kind of dessert I had been looking for!! So first things first, this is a Chinese place that specializes in dessert, their location was no surprise, since they are in the heart of many good places to eat. The shop is very cutesy, kinda run down a little BUT we came here for dessert, it's very spacious and they have tables and booths, I really love that they have the option to have your dessert inside, sit and enjoy rather than just takeout. They were very promptly and quick to hand us the menus, that were large enough to read and the best part .. PICTURES! I'm a visual gal and I deff eat with my eyes, so seeing all the options just made my mouth water! I had their signature, classic dessert which was a "Snow White Mango Juice Sago" It comes with little tiny sago balls, some mango juice as the name describes, coconut milk, some chunks of mango AND mango ice cream, truly a delicious masterpiece. I went with 3 other people and we were comfortable and happy eating our desserts, we were not rushed out or anything and they took card, the price was average considering all the ingredients. Most desserts here are made with mango (hence the name ) but they do have a few other things with other fruit selections. I loved this place and I can't wait to come back and bring other friends with me! read more

My first time at Mango Mango in the Flushing location. I understand what everyone is talking about the trash infront of the store is such an eye sore. It also smells which leads you having second thoughts of trying this place out. The mango sticky rice was ok, I expected the rice to be warm which wasn't. The mangos was sour. The only thing refreshing about that dessert was the coconut ice cream. The staff was friendly and they were busy so be prepared to wait for dine in. They have a bathroom available. If you're on the hunt for not-too-sweet Asian desserts that will likely get a thumbs-up from your parents, Mango Mango Dessert is the place to be. Personally, I adore this type of dessert, especially when it involves hot desserts with mochi and all things chewy -- absolute perfection. Their Ube Soup with Sago and Rice Ball is hands down my favorite. It's chewy, not too sweet, and packed with flavor -- everything I want in a dessert. It's simply amazing, and I'd choose this over ice cream or, honestly, anything else. Speaking of ice cream, theirs is pretty good too. However, our last adventure with their classic durian dessert wasn't great. The durian cubes were frozen and icy, and it's definitely not something I'd order again. read more

Came here on a Friday and considering that I've been to some other better locations for mango mango, I'm not quite convinced I want to come back to this location. This is to comment on the store as a whole, and not quite the service. It was a pretty busy night. No one was waiting at the door but the cafe was packed. The first thing I notice is that the poor man was the only person working the cashier AND was the only server for the entire cafe. He was insanely busy and we felt so bad for him, and so we just question why they were not able to better staff the cafe especially on a busy Friday night. In addition, the ambiance at a first glance from afar looks okay, but once you look into it more there's a bunch of trash piled in front of the store, and our table, chairs, and even the plate seemed like very poor quality. Overall the store and storefront just didn't give that clean and refreshing feeling you should get when walking into a dessert shop (which is drastically different from their Quincy location near Boston). The food itself was pretty good, but took a while for it to come out. We got the mango pancake which was pretty standard. Overall, due to the disappointing ambiance in comparison to their other stores, I will probably not be returning back to this specific location What we ordered: -Mango Pancake read more

We came as a party of 3 and had our desserts ready at our table almost immediately after ordering, which was very pleasant. However, my server had forgotten to give one of my party a utensil to eat her food - we had asked for an extra utensil. We were served water after requesting it, but did not get refills once we finished drinking some of our water. We ordered I believe the second combo on the menu (A2, A4, and S2). One of the desserts on the left with tiny white pearls were incredibly sweet (A2 - Snow White Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice Cream), while the dessert on the right with the giant white pearls was very tart (A4 - Mango Juice Rice Ball with Ice Cream). We really liked the Mango Pancakes (S2). The bathroom is incredibly dirty when I went and they did not have any toilet paper available. Additionally, there were no paper towels to dry my hands and the hand dryer has been broken. One thing to note is there is a 3% credit card surcharge (that the servers do not tell you) so we had paid in cash. read more

Just got to visit their newly renovated cafe. The new aesthetic is very airy and light in here. We have been coming here for years and although I miss the bench booth seating it seems roomier and bright. This is one of the cafes I love coming to for desserts. Since I am a mango lover everything on the menu is perfect to me. My favorites are the mango pomelo sago dessert, the mango crepe cake and the Mango pancake. Recently tried their mango strawberry latte with crystal jelly and it was so fresh with real fruit inside and the jellies add a fun touch. It also came in a cool insulated bag to go. The mango pomelo is a hk favorite and always refreshing to have. I love the flavor of the mango crepe cake and my favorite part is counting the layers while I eat it. The mango pancake is so soft and fluffy that it is like biting on a cloud with a shot of mango burst flavor in there. The service was pretty good also the waiters kept trying to greet and seat people coming in for either eat in and take out. It took about 10 minutes to prepare the stuff. There is a minimum $20 for card. They also have the computers for faster ordering or to browse items along the side wall. Definitely one of my faves for before or after dinner dessert. read more

On 2025-11-06, at Mango Mango (136-28 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354), I placed a takeout order. My wife wanted to sit briefly, and a staff member stopped us. The situation escalated into an argument because of the staff's poor attitude. This was not handled with basic courtesy. As paying customers, we deserve polite and respectful communication. What made it worse: * There was no clear phone number or complaint channel available. * The male staff member refused to provide his name. * His behavior was dismissive and disrespectful, including eye-rolling and an unprofessional manner. Staff present appeared to include Jiaying, Jiyi, Vicho, plus two female staff and one male staff. I hope management takes this seriously and retrains employees on basic customer respect. read more

My usual, is the Mango Sundae and my friends ordered 2x A3 Strawberry Mango Juice Sago with Lychee Jelly/Herbal Jelly, This is a cute dessert spot in Flushing where you can grab a quick dessert fix! Perfect for a date, a friend date or a hang out in general. They have booths where the tables are pretty high - kind of uncomfortable? And the couches were sunken in. The dessert comes out quickly, without much of a wait. We came after dinner on a weekday, so there wasn't no wait for a table either. I used to come here all the time a few years ago! This chain has a few locations through nyc. They're known for their signature mango sago/pomelo type desserts that you can get various toppings with such as glutinous rice balls, purple rice, etc. Definitely recommend getting either of those 6-8 choices as a dessert since they always taste good and also hard to mess up. On the other hand, this was our first time trying their cakes; super dry and tasteless. Maybe depending on the flavor it could be difference but the cake was 1/10 for us. I haven't gone to Mango Mango in years since the Manhattan locations (Chinatown and St Marks Place) are always so packed every time I attempt to go. This location is spacious and there's couches so it's very comfortable compared to the other locations. I used to get their mango combos and share with 3-4 girlfriends. However, this time, I was only with one friend and already ate so much at lunch (yes this is an ongoing issue, will try to eat less next time haha). We decided to order just the mango with mango puree, sago, and herbal jelly dessert. The mango was fresh and ripe. The mango puree was not too sweet thanks to the sago and herbal jelly. I was very excited to try this place as mango is my favorite fruit, and while it wasn't a disappointment, it also wasn't as stellar as I thought it was going to be. My friends and I split the Combo B and a slice of the mango mille crepe cake, which ended up being the perfect amount of food for 3. While everything tasted good, nothing was all that memorable either. My favorite was probably the mango juice with mochi and ice cream, with the mango pancake coming in second purely for the novelty factor. Everything was pretty lightly flavored, and as all Asian sweets go, lightly sweet. If you're looking for a sugar bomb, this won't be it, but if you're looking for something light after a big meal in Flushing, this is a good place to go. Where they lose points is on the rest of the experience. The cafe looked like it had seen better days (stained, broken furniture), and our table was dirty and uncleaned. Service was pretty abysmal. Menus got tossed at us, and whenever we needed anything from the servers, they looked annoyed. For the price, it's hard to justify coming here when the desserts are merely good, and everything else about the experience is lacking. read more
